I was running and got up to 3 miles. I saw one of those blue dots and decided to help. I ended getting tazed and woke up in front of a train. Lost the run progress and its safe to say i am done for the night.
"100% the game", they said
"It'll be fun", they said
It was hell for me tbh
My game glitched out twice so I had to play through three times to get 100%
Actually I don't remember you need to do this to get 100%.

no this isnt required for 100% Only reason to do this is for the Kifflom Achievement/Trophy

If any of you noticed, Marnie is the same character from GTAIV. Niko meets her in the small park fountain area an she asks him for money so she can get drugs etc. and you have to drive her around.

Did it. Finally fucking did it. After starting it the first time, the mission got glitched and couldn't get the message after delivering all the cars, so I had to make a new save and start from scratch, and have to do the Jewlery Store job again untill I got enough money to continue it, and after that, finally got the mission to proceed and ran in the desert for 5 fucking miles, then, killed every single fucking person and got the $2.1 Mill. Now just collectibles and a couple online trophies and finally get my Platinum. Wish me luck!

Glitched for me too, well fuck it then
Holy fuck I just did all this and it took at least 30min just saving over an over to pass the 10days of waiting. Also this is a warning to anyone who tries, DO NOT leave the desert area! I left it by accident which basically means I crossed the river at 4.9 miles and they told me I left and have to start over... Will take you 20min of just walking, but took me 40min since I fucked it up. Total time to do all this straight is about 4hrs. Took me 5hr with all the mistakes and accidental deaths etc
So you are saying a gaming corporation developed a side quest to a game that takes a lot of time to complete. WHY WOULD THEY EVER DO THAT!!! Oh the horror!!!! lol
For the record this Achievement was a pain in the ass. But your tutorial was very helpful. Thanks.

yeah I wanted to keep that tractor, but unfortunately it couldn't make it up the hill to get to Michael's house.
A tractor pales in comparison to the 2 million dollar reward for killing everyone.

Just leave the Safehouse. I ordered them in the bedroom and sat there for 10 minutes wondering where the hell.
For me it said "Access denied! Your IP has been logged as that of an Unsaveable!". First fucking step and I can't even do it. Anyone else have this issue?
Make sure you do it as Michael, you cannot be Franklin or Trevor while doing this mission/side quest.

The fucking robes never spawned I waited like 3 days then I bought them again waited 3 more days they still didn't spawn so I bought them a third time and they never fucking spawned did anyone else have this bullshit happen

Shinigami Ray I had to do it on a different playthrough but people suggested leaving the bedroom because sometimes it'll only spawn when you leave the room
***** I tried that cause I saw it on a forum and it just never worked until I started a new playthrough

It's also worth noting that if you want the money ending, instead of driving to the place and fighting everyone, you can just drive away while you're supposed to be following the van, so it's a bit easier. You just need to evade them but it's no more difficult than a 3 star chase, if even that.

So glad I didn't no about the phone call after the 5 mile walk then I went and saved over my files now I have to start a new game to finish this mission
change in the settings "delay on notifications" or something along those lines, and msgs will arrive right away, no need to wait or sleep.

I think this is the longest achievement guide ever... I like it.
Kifflom reminds me of the Zultan cult on the movie 'Dude Where's My Car?'.. Pretty sure that the idea came from it!
For the record you don't actually have to get the helicopter in that final mission, you can just drive away the second you get in the car and it's a hell of a lot easier to escape the cultists that way.
Plus since this route doesn't involve killing Cris (the leader), he calls you and you get to hear a funny little exchange between him and Michael.

Its meant to represent Rat mans den which you could find in the portal games, you can tell by the way it has been written on the wall - the most famous quote being "The cake is a lie." If you look on the wall it says "The fruit tree is a lie."

If you want both rewards, kill all but one of the dudes, drive off in the money car, lose your wanted level, go back to the last dude and everything will still be there (no despawn!). Then steal the tractor. Pro-tip, the tractor doesn't take hills very well. A tow truck or strong car would help a lot.
Just found out if yu die while your doing the running thing just go back to where the mission was at and it will count from the last time it was saved while you were running
I like how Micheal says a Star Wars reference and then later on in the video a mission wanted the player to "Use The Force"
The trick to it is to put something heavy on your controller that will tilt the left thumb stick to the side so you walk in a circle. Then you can go off and do other stuff while the game continues till you hit ten miles. It should only talk around half an hour.
When is this side S&F mission available in game? After completion or is it between certain missions?
Anyone else notice that Michael's star wars reference was immediately followed by a "Use the force" challenge at the end of the mission?
You can find some of the cars on the streets. I found the fourth car next to the garage you park the in. I didn't know it when I found it, so I shot at it and it said it was too damaged to use.

For the people who are complaining about saving for the robes this is a little hint I've known since gta IV you don't have to save every time just open the save menu the exit and it counts as sleeping that's what I'm doing
I was watching this video while i rubber banded my controller for the 5 mile run and when I hit 4 miles I got a phone call, it scared me so bad because I nearly missed it.
I love that this mission is a fairly accurate representation of scient-erm... Happyology, just with the sci-fi pablum replaced with long, boring stretches of gameplay. Doing these sidequests is a bit like the religion itself. If you do it, you have no one but yourself to blame when you end up broke and exhausted.
i remember the epsilon cult in gta san andreas it's pretty cool that they reference that in gta 5

IMPORTANT!
Do not leave the desert while running the five miles in step 9. You will have to star all over! So don't even go near the edge you may leave in by accident. Running in circles like Ray did is the best option.
There will be. And auto lock-on can be disable in a pause menu.
Unfortunately most people don't watch videos completely anymore. They all just assume there's 10% blank footage just sitting in an uploaded video that doesn't account for anything, even if there's still dialogue going on in the video.

I rubber banded my analog sticks diagonally facing each other and i taped A down and it took me bout 15 mins
also you can get the achievement when you are driving to the drop off point just drive as fast as you can away from them and once you escape them 2.1 million and a achivement
what happens when you get one of the vehicles and when your delivering it to the garage does it matter if it blows up?
I would think so.......
If you just type E into the search bar the Epsilon Program is like the second option haha. Saves a lot of typing.
