@roboxing the first assassination is mandatory. If you want to progress with the storyline, you have to do it you have no other choice. There is 4 more Lester assassination missions after the main story line.
You forgot the FlyUs stock. If you invest in this after it tanked around 50% after “legal trouble”. You can sell it for around a 100% return soon after “Meltdown”.

I followed this guide but also traded stock throughout the game. I grinded a million for Franklin doing races and picking up cash briefcases for Trevor before the first lester mission. In the end I had a combined net worth of $25.3 billion. Of course to get this amount I had to divide my money into stocks, $2 billion at a time. Michael: $12.3 billion Trevor: $7.5 billion Franklin: $5.5 billion

The tip about going into the save menu and back out without actually making a save is a real time saver and definitely safer when time skipping without risking your actual saves. Legend👍🏽

Man! I wish I found you and this guide 2 weeks ago. I've had GTA5 since it came out but never got into it until last month. I just beat the game today actually and low and behold, I stumble upon this amazing guide. I'm so tempted to run through it but I wouldn't even know what to spend all that money on in the game. I’ve played this since it released, I’ve restarted about three times and i’m on my fourth attempt. It’s worth it since you’ll get all the properties and garages without worrying about the bank.
Finally I'm done with the whole story and assasination missions and even though I messed up on the timing of some of the opportunities, I still was able to max out all 3 characters using this guide. Thank Old Grumpy Gamers for this epic guide.
Note: I have already commented on the previous edition of this video: So, Another thing to really boost the total monetary gain is using certain characters for the max take of each and every heist (except for The Merryweather Heist since no money was rewarded.) Before you start Casing The Jewel Store, you need to complete a random event where you'll find Packie McReary and another goon needing a getaway vehicle. Each characters total profit: Michael: 43.342.650$ Franklin: 42.655.465$ Trevor: 42.119.577$ Btw doing the stock market trick is the only way to get all the properties in GTAV. Buying properties and profiting of of them to buy better ones takes over 5000+ hours of gameplay. Honestly the buisnesses suck in the game, not only do they pay really badly but they also don't give the player any perks. Such as, taxis being free when you buy the LS Taxi building etc. So overall do the trick and don't waste your time on the buisnisses except if you want 100% completion.
Great video! I messed up a few steps but still ended up with 400m+ for each character, which is more than enough than I needed for the ‘buy all properties’ achievement. When I first did stocks when the game first came out, there were only guides on one stock per assassination mission, which would come out to not nearly enough to buy the 150million golf course
Oct: 2023. Thanks for this, I was able to reach 2.1b with michael before the last assassination along with lester and franklyn after the last one. I even missed out on the lester altruist cult, the random pickup to the airport and also didn’t bother doing the submarine business but still able to reach the max money. Great Guide 👍🏽
Man... This is too legit! Was a little worried during the story when I wasn't reaching the target return percentages, but by the last assassination mission BOTH Michael and Franklin made the max amount, give or take a couple of $ (could not sell all of Michael's last stock right away cos the total was something like 2.8bn). So, in the end each character made as follows: Trevor: 1,925,921,740 Franklin: 2,147,483,612 Michael: 2,147,483,647 Total : 6, 220, 888, 999 Not a bad take. The guide totally delivers. Typed this literally a few minutes after completing the last sale. This is the most money I've ever made in the story. Thanks a lot grumpy bros!
Also commenting for the algorithm. I started playing GTA V again on PS5 a week ago, and I just finished the Bus Assassination yesterday with so much stock value that I've maxed out the cash for everyone with a few hundred million left in the exchange. I've probably opened this video thirty times in the last week. I say this with the utmost appreciation and respect, but you have no idea how glad I am that I don't have to watch this again. Thank you for your service.
here is my experience: I did all the preps after the jewelry heist and found a secret brief case that gave me 25k instead of 12k. I found an exploit which allowed to repeatedly pick up that 25k and grinded all the characters until they were all at 3.5 mil. For the first assassination i got 50% for Betta and 110% for Blikton. For vangelico i waited until after the paleto heist and got 51% (before paleto my max was 46% so i recommend waiting til after the heist to sell). For gruppe, i held it longer and was able to net around 20-25%. I also did FlyUs stock (not mentioned in this video) and netted about 110%. for Auginsurance i got about 100%, and for tinkle I was lucky and got 35%. By this time i was around 272 mil on each character. For Debonaire i got around 45% and for redwood i got a lucky 351% (however it took me a long time of reloading old saves and trying again). For fruit i got 22% and for facade i got 34%. At this point I maxed out on all characters and have about an extra 700 mil for franklin 500 mil for michael and 600 min for trevor just sitting in the facade stock. The only main tricks i did do was the 25k exploit (like mentioned on the start) and reloading and trying again to get higher percentages (which typically took me 3-4 tries). if you have any questions or need help just ask below as well as leave a like on this comment since i dont get notified when people reply.

@@OldGrumpyGamers i play on pc and yeah the 25k explicit wasn’t there at first and it took me a while to figure it out until i drove away, saved the game, reloaded that save and drove back and it showed up. I’m not too sure if pc was included with this next gen so please let me know. I also want to thank you for this video as I was able to finally afford the golfing place after yearsssss of playing this game lol.

Great guide - followed it to the letter and had 2 billion for each character before doing the final assassination mission even after purchasing all properties, helis, planes, boats, guns and cars.
If anybody is having a problem with a stock that doesn't seem to want to rise such as Redwood ( RWC ) here is a way to fix it. Now there are 3 solutions. 1. Is to switch to Trevor, sleep around 2 times or 1 ingame day and check on the stock that you want to make a profit off. If the stock went up by around 0.1 - 2 then save and keep on skipping time. Eventually the stock will go up to your desired price but this might take a few ingame weeks to do. 2. Just give up. Plain and simple but i realy recommend not to take this path as you might only be able to get 600 million instead of 2.2 billion. 3. Reload the game. This might help if the stock is bugged but really this method is just a last resort if the first one didn't work. Now if the tinkle random encounter doesn't seem to want to spawn i have 5 fixes for you once again. 1. Use a slower car. The faster the car the smaller the chance you have to make him spawn. A good car to use it any of the main character cars or any common 4 seater car. ( Warning: dont take a VERY SLOW CAR as you wont be able to take him to the airport in time ) 2. This event seems to only spawn around the time of 12:00 - 18:00 so i recommend waiting until the time hits 12:00. 3. Every time you don't get the encounter to spawn i recommend driving around 1.5 ish kilometers away or 0.75 miles as that despawns everything. 4. Give up again plain and simple but i really dont recommend. 5. Restart the game. This only helps if you know that the game is bugged. Been watching this as I’ve started playing through with the enhanced version. The Redwood cigarette investment near the end of the video was taking a little longer than 3 - 4 days and I was starting to worry then it started rocketing up until it reach a return of 410.3%! I tried reloading saves but that was the highest I could get it
Can confirm this, just did this on PC today. Waited a bit longer than the 3-4 days and it sky rocketed to the 380% mark. Went from 33mil on all characters to a solid 240mil across all characters. Patience is certainly advised and definitely have a backup save just in case, this one seems to be the most fluctuating stock for sure.
@@IceDweller68 sounds like yours is set up like mine. I actually had to wait alot longer on most of them to get the increase but I can confirm that it goes past 50% after the paleto bay heist I actually got up to 56% but I forgot to save or my game just bugged or something and when I loaded my game back up it dropped me down to 47.5% but can confirm it goes past 50% just got to be patient with it a sleep alot. Preferably with Trevor to speed it up some
Man, thank you so much for this guide, I managed to reached maximum money cap with all three characters despite not picking up the briefcases with Trevor (that's because I couldn't do the Abigail mission at the dock with Micheal to access the Dinghy until missions later, so I skipped it) and selling the Augury Insurance shares at only 1% profit, great guide.
Couple things to note: 1.The PS5 version of the game seems to be nerfed. I’m only seeing around half the return percentages mentioned in this video. 2. The Vangelico returns vary. For me selling after the Merryweather mission would have netted me 34.91% but after the Paleto score I only got 30%. Best bet is to quick save after the Merryweather mission and try your luck.
@@OldGrumpyGamers Okay so luckily I had an old save and with some trial and error, have found that simply restarting the game before buying any stock will fix things. It’s a pain in the ass but thank god for the PS5’s SSD! I’ve now got the max amount of money possible with all properties and vehicles purchased, and I still have 16 million shares in GCD. Not necessarily :/ unfortunately after the scoping the score mission Grupe6 was sitting at -14% and when I restarted my game it went up to +9% even when I went back to my original save I had right after the mission it was still at +9%
Yea I thought it was just my game for the 5 although, I spent a lot of money during the game lol but for the final heist got like 21 milllion. After the game I Did the assassination missions and after everything was said and done got about 550 million so I was happy with that but still was seeing the returns on the stocks them selve
10 months ago and this still works! I've reached the cap for Franklin, Trevor, and Michael before the last 2 Lester Assassination Missions and still have 3 billion excess for each character in GoldCoast stocks. I've also grinded more start-up money fror Trevor and Franklin doing the hidden packages glitch. This is a really great guide! Thanks so much for this!
Vangelico works, I can attest to that. I'm on my 3rd way through the game and I tried this for the first time. Stock went up by about 50% Good stuff, thank you. 👍
@@OldGrumpyGamers I still have the last assassination mission to do, but your info worked like a charm. Michael made so much $ that he still has $402 million invested in VAP that he can't do anything with, because I'm at the exact game limit for him. Franklin is at 1.7 billion, and Trevor is at 1.4 billion. The only extra things I did were invest in FlyUS for all 3 characters, around the time of "Legal Trouble" and collect all the underwater briefcases as Michael.
Also, the Weed Farm is worth mentioning for Trevor. On yet another playthrough, I was lucky enough to get $45,000. It varies greatly, I've noticed, but occasionally, it's quite large.
Its been a long tine since i tried this but on the LCN web theres a market called eCola(ELC) What i used to do is go around breaking sprunk vending machines by shooting them and ecola then started to rise so i invested some money before breaking the sprunk machines and got a profit The red parking garage had a lot of them so i had kept leaving, coming back and breaking the sprunk vending machines

I didn’t do any of the initial stuff and bought some car and properties and by the end of the game i still have 2.1B with each characher and still have the last assassination mission to spare. Amazing guide, you left out the fly us one which was huge since it nets around 100% gains but still amazing stuff, can’t wait to go buy everything 😊🤙
Awesome guide as always. Finished up a recent playthrough where everything here worked for me except epsilon. For some reason epsilon froze on me after I stole all the cars. Never got a follow up mission even though I spent hours finishing the main story and collection sidequests.
It's a glitch, many players reported Dat saving before delivering all the cars and reloading Dat save will prevent u from advancing, so u just gotta check for a tutorial for were the cars spawn and deliver them all at once

@@artenthusiast3967 you can buy more then the shotgun. He’s just saying try to save as much as you can as most missions don’t pay anything gta. If you follow his guide most of the way you will have billion in the end. So I’d say buy your other gun. Just try not to spend as much as you can.

UPDATE, September 2022. So playing the latest save I used this guide and the FlyUS stock tip added by Lars Veldhuizen. The Vangelico stock tanked after Paleto Score so I reloaded and sold it after Minor Turbulence, around 54%. The rest worked quite well. FlyUS around 102% and Gruppe Sechs around 25% I bought the Augury insurance before the final mission(The Third way ofcourse) and sold it after I slept a couple days.It rose to around 95%. I also did a bit of stock trading as the game went on and managed to get pretty good returns a few times. The Maze bank went to about 20% once, which I consider a small miracle. The save scumming really works. I haven't yet done the assassinations nor the Tinkle-guy encounter. Money situation so far: Michael: 142M Franklin: 96M Trevor: 70M I got a feeling the money might max out before the final assassination. Or as happened before, there was millions in stock left afterwards which I couldn't sell. :D A small add to the money for Franklin: Win some races. That'll add a couple thousand once a while.

I've gone through the game at least 4+ times and noticed that even if you do a hard save after investing in the stock market, and if you don't sell at the right time, your stock return goes down, even after loading. I see a few people saying the profits don’t spike like that on new gen and they do I play on series X and have tested all these. But I did have issues with “Augury insurance 100% return” at the end. I looked everywhere to figure out what I was doing wrong as well as loaded previous saves after the last mission to see if it was bugged and even reset the game, And it still wasn’t working. What I did was make a save right before Franklin answered the door for the last mission (mainly to play all the outcomes after) and I reloaded that save. I had to buy AUG stocks with all the money I made up to that point before starting the last mission, once I invested, I completed the final mission again and as soon as I received my Big score money I invested it as well. Then I slept as Trevor for 32hrs and the stock increased 97.76% not sure if it was a bug on my end just making this comment incase anybody else comes across the same issue
If you are missing 100k on Franklin to buy that dock with nuclear waste collection - that comment is for you. I couldn't progress with story line before this. (wanted to max my profit according to this video) 1. Choose Franklin or any other character u need money with. 2. Go near ur bed, make save or two. 3. Open market stock, sort stocks with highest % drop down. 4. You need to find a stock that for the last few days on the chart has been continuously falling. It's not always stock with highest % drop. 5. Invest all your money, go to bed, DO NOT SAVE UR GAME. 6. Repeat step 5 until you got 2% or more gain - sell. 7. This not always work, that's why you need one backup save to load if something goes wrong. 8. With 150k on Franklin i was able to earn extra 110k easily. 9. Tested on LCN market and PS4.
Quick question, are we buying GRU directly after completing "Surveying The Score", or a few missons after that? It's not really clear in the video, or at least I wasn't able to tell at least. I had the same issue ... after the score Michael can't be selected. I'm cranking the price down ... the lowest buy price is now 568.27 ... stil ongoing .. Update: High 511.99 Low 359.11 Value 559.12
So ... to buy GRU , my start values High peak 800.76 Low peak 643.77 Value 650.7 So we sleep ,check, save/ no save,sleep, check , save/ no save, sleep, check ... hmmm reload last best save , check , sleep, check , save/no save, sleep, check .... take some time New numbers High 757.02 Low 485.22 Value 485.22 .... new low so i save (2 safe files , if you have an error saving)and sleep,check....... At one point it stops dropping , that's the minimum ... I do the same trick to pump it up when i sell them , so i think the % will be more ,i will update. So arround 310 it starts to get difficult, my last save High 433.57 Low 298.47 Value 298.47 Somethimes if you reload best lowest save in this case , the values change a bit. Wish I would have checked out this video before my current playthrough. I've finished this game a bunch of times, but it's fun to do a new playthrough once, and a while. Another good stock if you mess up or didn’t get extra money is Aug Insurance, from multiple tests if you absolutely abuse the quick save mechanism you can get it up to like 30% return. Then rinse and repeat to get MASSIVE gains lol
I followed this guide after finishing the story, and I was able to net roughly 4.8 Billion across-the-board. I sped through the story since I lost my save file after swapping SSDs, but it's all good. Thanks for the video.
For those who are wondering if the vangelico part wherein u have to wait till u finish paleto score raises up to 85% is not true however, u will get a maximum 66% profit once u sleep and monitor the stock after the paleto score heist. thats all :)
So after The Bus Assassination, I ended up waiting for more than four days and ended up getting a top of 100.1% rate of return for my Vapid stocks. My Michael is now already at $2,000,000,000.
It worked, I have max money with Trevor and 300M in stock shares, max money with Franklin and 500M in stock shares, and max money with Michael and 1.08 B in stock shares. So basically infinite money
Good morning all. So this is my first play through of GTA V and I love this guide - it's already helped out so much! I wanted to comment on the Vangelico buy right after completing Eye In The Sky. I can confirm that if you wait until after the Paleto Score to cash out, it will reach over 100% return - but it's a long wait. I had to sleep scrum for approx. 6-7 in-game *WEEKS* (yes, WEEKS!) before seeing that, but alas - it works!! I saw mine peak at around 115% then cashed out at 108%. I used Franklin to keep a watch on the price fluctuations, and Vag will fluctuate - but have patience! Great walk through - thanks Old Grumpy Gamer! :)
Option C (Deathwish). After completing the game invest in merry-weather when it goes to the lowest cap ($44.00). You can get over 155% return. SaveGame-Invest- checkStock rate-sleep-saveGame-check-sleep-save-loadGame-repeat till 155%. (Works on PS5 2022).
Great video. I didn’t really do any extra steps, I pretty much just played straight through and even bought a couple of properties with Trevor. I was still able to max out each character after the big score just from the assassination missions at the end.
From my experience, after completing Eye In The Sky, I put all my money in Vangelico and then worked my way up to Minor Turbulence. After that mission, I checked my stock and was at roughly 43% gains. I decided t make an additional save and tested the Paleto Bay heist method. After finishing that and sleeping about 4 days, I was able to get the stock to slightly climb to just over 51%. Not a huge change but I would say its still worth waiting to pull out of Vangelico until after the Paleto heist.

Thanks for the all help, there’s a couple things I didn’t do that you did. I didn’t even collect the 12K underwater thing for Trevor. I also collected that 60K thingy for Franklin instead of Trevor accidentally… There were a couple times my % on my stocks were lower then the ones that were on screen and I had some higher. I maxed out after the bus assassination for all 3 characters. GG. Great guide! 10/10
I can confirm that this works, I didn’t do any of the top ups or things like that and I made over 1.1 billion on all 3 characters done this on 11/05/22

Well, I haven’t even done the last assassination mission and M is already broken. I did the fly US for 60% and clucking bell for 125% after diving in just 400k from the bureau raid. Awesome walk through, can’t thank you enough! Time to go buy everything ✊🏾

Followed everything (except skipped a couple early money making techniques 😅) and still ended up with $1.98B with Michael and similar with Franklin and Trevor. For the very last mission you mentioned the highest was 59% return but I slept a few more times with Michael (unfortunately didn’t count) and managed to get that return up to 79.8%! Thanks again!
First of all, the dinghy for the sonar collection wont appear before enetring the Abigail Mission with Michael and that appears After doing the Derailed Mission. And Second thing, the Bilkinton Share was at the negative after the one and a half days sleeping, therefore there was no time where it was 110-140%. So all of the effort before was for nothing…

I just did the Hotel Assasiation investments on Xbox Series X yesterday (June 2022). Preparation: Michael: Vangelico Heist (with packie McCreary) = $1M. Also do the Epsilon questline for $2.1M. Total around $3M Franklin: Vangelico Heist = $250k. Do a the bike theft random encounter for $100K worth of AnimalArk stock. After The Merryweather Heist buy the sonar collection dock for $600k profit. Total $1M Trevor: honestly I gave up. I bought the airfield and did all the missions, but this was a bad idea. The return on investment for the effort is not worth it imo. In the end I just made up what I lost. So $100k The actual investing: (make sure to save!) Before the mission invest all your money in Betta Pharmaceutical. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE MISSION ON A MONDAY (in daytime). Once you do the mission wait 24h and sell Betta at 50% profit. It should be Tuesday at this point. After that sleep with Michael (tedious I know) until Bilkington is at $50-54 a share. This will be either very early Wednesday or on Thursday. It can be on Friday sometimes. When you've bought Bilkington. Sleep as Trevor until Monday the following week. Sell when Bilkington is anywhere between $100-120 a share. I managed to luck out and sell at $130 dollars a a share. The peak price can be anywhere between Monday-Thursday. So check the shares everytime you wake up after Monday. I managed to get 10M for Michael before Blitz Play and 6M for Franklin.
Dude you are the best.... I followed your guide and played GTA as you said, and guess what? I literally made 2.1 billion dollars with each character and so I must say man your guide is best. Also, I want to tell u after legal trouble and meltdown if we purchase flyus stock we get around 100% return with 3 to 4 days waiting. But even without that with your guide anyone can make 2.1 b with each character
I restarted a game just to follow this video guide and safe to say that everything he said still works in 2023. In fact, some of the stock exchanges netted me more profit like the Redwood after DEB investment I got 340% profit putting micheal just below 1 billion dollars
For the redwood stock it wasn’t going up until like 5 days and then by day 7 it went up to 380 percent profit so maybe if you hold it for longer you can get more profit
I think I noticed this too. After a while for some of these stocks I stopped going by the amount of days to sleep and just went with the percentage increase to look for. Made it easier for me. Whatever stock that dropped from $16 to $4, $3 ...then shot back up to $16 is where I made the most money from. I think they all made at least 900,000,000 from that.

Auguary drops 30% but after trying several times it doesn’t come back up. Only time it came back a lot was when I didn’t actually invest in the first place

Just finished this on a playthrough, great guide. Couple of things... the Dingy is only available for Trevor to find the briefcase in the ocean once Micheal has started the stranger mission with Abigail after Franklin purchases the dock. Biker chick can also become a love interest for Trevor if you use someone else as the Altruist victim. I was also curious to know if doing all Lester missions after the main storyline instead of doing the Hotel Assassination midway through the game makes a difference in how much you can make.
@@andrewbillette8859 The stranger mission for Michael with Abigail becomes available after a certain point in the story. I'm not sure when though. I bought the dock with Franklin, found all the nuclear waste, did a few story missions and she appeared on the dock for Michael.
Thanks, Shreyas, Andrew... _What Lies Beneath_ (the Abigail mission) becomes available for Michael around 2 in-game days after *anyone* purchases the Sonar Collections Dock; which itself becomes available for purchase after the Merrywhether Heist (the first Trevor heist). You need to start the _What Lies Beneath_ / Nuclear Submarine challenge to spawn the dinghy. ...also, Shreyas, you *can't* delay doing _The Hotel Assassination_ :( It's needed to progress the story.
@@OldGrumpyGamers Ah, I figured there was a reason you included it midway through. I did follow the guide completely and reached money cap on all 3 before finishing last assassination. In fact, I bought all properties, guns, clothes and every single possible thing that I can buy with all 3 characters and am already again at money cap while also sitting on stock from the 2nd to last assassination worth 1.5B on each of the characters that I can't cash in because I'm at money cap lol.
Doing my first playthrough on my PS5 & am halfway through this guide. Tip to anyone reading this playing on PS5- Vangellico shows -16% right after Minor Turbulence. You have to wait multiple days to get it up to 50-60%. Trying the Paleto Score tip next
For those on PS5, time to sleep & stock outcome is slightly different. This is the highest profit I got in return with the most hours slept. I only followed the stock market portion of the video as I had already finished the game. All characters investing ~33M - Debonaire: 32 hours nets 52% return - Redwood: 8.5 days nets 358% return - Fruit: 6 hours nets 22% return - Facade: 7.5 days nets 33% return - Vapid: 8 days nets 102% return - Gold Coast: 4 days nets 54% return Each character only managed to net around $1.2B.

Best thing to do is don't do the Lester missions until you finish the story mode. Then put all the money from the big score into the stocks then you will make the 2.1 Billion. It worked for me for all three players
Thanks, Slump. It can take up to an in-game week to get the stock notification (which comes via in-game email). You _may_ also need to progress the game a few missions. Just keep an eye on the email... the stock _will_ turn up (eventually).
For me, AUG has run ~450% give or take from the time of story completion up to right before the last assassination mission. It might be worth investing in and holding onto. If you want to buy a dip, clog the highway with a car barricade and wait until a bunch of cars are in a traffic jam before destroying all the cars. found this to be extremely helpful, sitting on 7 billion in GCD stock with Michael right before I do this mission.
Also, i believe you can start the random event with the mobster’s daughter at any time. thankfully i ran into her with trevor at the beginning of the game. to have that extra $60,000 before investing
Thought I was doing something wrong but there just seems to be tons of variations in the game. Took me around in game 11 days for RWC to spike up but I eventually sold at 329% Edit: I managed to hit the capacity before the GCD assassination. I'm temped to put away money in different stocks and do the mission anyways but I'm pretty sure the game doesn't even allow you to accumulate over the capacity in stocks. So even if I put a 1/2 billion away in an unrelated stock and the rest in GCD, I don't think I'd have more than the max in shares.
Im happy to say, follow this guid for the most part in order from Lesters 1st assassination mission thru the final. By the time I started selling the Vapid stock, the game maxed out on all 3 characters each with a little over $2B each with Valid stock left to sell but I cant. Lucky me, I was able to break the game. 💪🏼💪🏼 I reached the cash ceiling. I started buying properties and selling the stock to build my cash back up. After the final assain mission, I owned all properties, still reached the cash ceiling of over $2B each with stocks still available to sell.

@@OldGrumpyGamers indeed i haven't done the assassination missions with L. Btw, the AUG stock was 267$. After saving quiting coming back, it went up to 527$ which was an average price. Weird and curious.

I tested selling the Vangelico stock after the Paleto score and I was only able to net 44%, compared to the 46% I would have gotten if I sold after Minor Turbulence. Pretty much the same, nothing compared to the 85% that guy claimed to net.
Also after the canon ending when don percival sends you the e-mail you can buy merryweather stocks, hold them for about 5-6-7 days and make around 22% profit, I tried after I read in the e-mail "thanks to you I can buy Devin Weston's part on this temporal low", idk if you can make more, some days the stocks were on -10%, but I held and make a 22% profit
I think you missed an investment opportunity. It's between the missions Legal Trouble and Meltdown. Invest in FlyUS stock before completing Meltdown, then wait 24 hours, and you should get a huge return. I got a 95% return, so it's a very good investment. I didn't try to maximize profits, so maybe you could get a better return.
I just did some testing with Vangelico and got the following results after 5 trials of waiting till after Paleto: 2 out of 5 trials went above 30% return (one maxing at 37% and the other at 52%) Price started going up after 2-3 days waiting 3 out of 5 trials were at just under 30% immediately following Paleto and stayed above 20% for the next week but never went above 30% Waiting till after Paleto to get a larger return is very possible but inconsistent. The 5 trials took about 45 min to an hour to get an idea of how long it takes to get a good return.
Man, I have to thank you for this guide. Used it last year, with PS3 (offline, no BQWSAQ) and coupled with diving for the 25K briefcase like 50 times for each character, ended it with over 1.1 for all 3. This time, on PS4, with only getting the briefcase maybe 20 times for each character early in the game to be able to buy weapons, I followed the guide and saved the Twinkle stock tip until the very end (even after the Lester assassination missions) and now I'm maxed out on all 3 characters, with 3 stocks (Vapid, Gold Coast and Twinkle) having MILLIONS of shares on each stock whenever I want to sell some shares to have max money in the bank, after buying what I want, lol. Needless to say, this guide is the Truth...appreciate you, OGG.

I bought the FlyUS stock right before I started Meltdown and I got 108% return about 12-18 in game hours after I completed the mission.
Totally worth a shot! I invested it all on FlyUS after Legal Trouble and gained 98% return 12 hours after Meltdown on my first try!

I followed this guide but also traded stock throughout the game. I grinded a million for Franklin doing races and picking up cash briefcases for Trevor before the first lester mission. In the end I had a combined net worth of $25.3 billion. Of course to get this amount I had to divide my money into stocks, $2 billion at a time.
Michael: $12.3 billion
Trevor: $7.5 billion
Franklin: $5.5 billion

Man! I wish I found you and this guide 2 weeks ago. I've had GTA5 since it came out but never got into it until last month. I’ve played this since it released, I’ve restarted about three times and i’m on my fourth attempt. It’s worth it since you’ll get all the properties and garages without worrying about the bank.
Finally I'm done with the whole story and assasination missions and even though I messed up on the timing of some of the opportunities, I still was able to max out all 3 characters using this guide. Thank Old Grumpy Gamers for this epic guide.

So, Another thing to really boost the total monetary gain is using certain characters for the max take of each and every heist (except for The Merryweather Heist since no money was rewarded.)
Before you start Casing The Jewel Store, you need to complete a random event where you'll find Packie McReary and another goon needing a getaway vehicle. Perfeably play as Franklin and DO help them out and lose a two star level, once you successfully getaway, drive to Textile City and Packie will reward you $5,000 and an offer to use him in future heists (minus The Merryweather Heist)
The second random event you need to complete for the max take of the heists is after you complete Mr. Philips where you play as Trevor, go to the road close to the tunnel under Mount Gordo past Paleto Bay and you'll find Taliana needing help, quickly take her to her trailer home (conviently close to Trevor's trailer) and she'll be able to be used for the Bureau Raid (Rooftop) and The Big Score (Obvious)

Btw doing the stock market trick is the only way to get all the properties in GTAV. Buying properties and profiting of of them to buy better ones takes over 5000+ hours of gameplay. Honestly the buisnesses suck in the game, not only do they pay really badly but they also don't give the player any perks. Such as, taxis being free when you buy the LS Taxi building etc. So overall do the trick and don't waste your time on the buisnisses except if you want 100% completion.

Great video! I messed up a few steps but still ended up with 400m+ for each character, which is more than enough than I needed for the ‘buy all properties’ achievement. When I first did stocks when the game first came out, there were only guides on one stock per assassination mission, which would come out to not nearly enough to buy the 150million golf course

I even missed out on the lester altruist cult, the random pickup to the airport and also didn’t bother doing the submarine business but still able to reach the max money. Great Guide 👍🏽

Man... This is too legit! Was a little worried during the story when I wasn't reaching the target return percentages, but by the last assassination mission BOTH Michael and Franklin made the max amount, give or take a couple of $ (could not sell all of Michael's last stock right away cos the total was something like 2.8bn). So, in the end each character made as follows:

Franklin: 2,147,483,612
Michael: 2,147,483,647
Total : 6, 220, 888, 999

I started playing GTA V again on PS5 a week ago, and I just finished the Bus Assassination yesterday with so much stock value that I've maxed out the cash for everyone with a few hundred million left in the exchange. I've probably opened this video thirty times in the last week. I say this with the utmost appreciation and respect, but you have no idea how glad I am that I don't have to watch this again. Thank you for your service.

here is my experience: I did all the preps after the jewelry heist and found a secret brief case that gave me 25k instead of 12k. I found an exploit which allowed to repeatedly pick up that 25k and grinded all the characters until they were all at 3.5 mil. For the first assassination i got 50% for Betta and 110% for Blikton. For vangelico i waited until after the paleto heist and got 51% (before paleto my max was 46% so i recommend waiting til after the heist to sell). For gruppe, i held it longer and was able to net around 20-25%. I also did FlyUs stock (not mentioned in this video) and netted about 110%. for Auginsurance i got about 100%, and for tinkle I was lucky and got 35%. By this time i was around 272 mil on each character. For Debonaire i got around 45% and for redwood i got a lucky 351% (however it took me a long time of reloading old saves and trying again). For fruit i got 22% and for facade i got 34%. At this point I maxed out on all characters and have about an extra 700 mil for franklin 500 mil for michael and 600 min for trevor just sitting in the facade stock. The only main tricks i did do was the 25k exploit (like mentioned on the start) and reloading and trying again to get higher percentages (which typically took me 3-4 tries). if you have any questions or need help just ask below as well as leave a like on this comment since i dont get notified when people reply.

I’m not too sure if pc was included with this next gen so please let me know. I play on PS5 for the FlyUs stock when r u supposed to sell bcs after the big score BEFORE i collected the money by killing devin , im only seeing at most 10% returns

Great guide - followed it to the letter and had 2 billion for each character before doing the final assassination mission even after purchasing all properties, helis, planes, boats, guns and cars.

If anybody is having a problem with a stock that doesn't seem to want to rise such as Redwood ( RWC ) here is a way to fix it. Now there are 3 solutions. 1. Is to switch to Trevor, sleep around 2 times or 1 ingame day and check on the stock that you want to make a profit off. If the stock went up by around 0.1 - 2 then save and keep on skipping time. Eventually the stock will go up to your desired price but this might take a few ingame weeks to do. 2. Just give up. Plain and simple but i realy recommend not to take this path as you might only be able to get 600 million instead of 2.2 billion. 3. Reload the game. This might help if the stock is bugged but really this method is just a last resort if the first one didn't work.
Now if the tinkle random encounter doesn't seem to want to spawn i have 5 fixes for you once again. 1. Use a slower car. The faster the car the smaller the chance you have to make him spawn. A good car to use it any of the main character cars or any common 4 seater car. ( Warning: dont take a VERY SLOW CAR as you wont be able to take him to the airport in time ) 2. This event seems to only spawn around the time of 12:00 - 18:00 so i recommend waiting until the time hits 12:00. 3. Every time you don't get the encounter to spawn i recommend driving around 1.5 ish kilometers away or 0.75 miles as that despawns everything. 4. Give up again plain and simple but i really dont recommend. 5. Restart the game. This only helps if you know that the game is bugged.

Been watching this as I’ve started playing through with the enhanced version. The Redwood cigarette investment near the end of the video was taking a little longer than 3 - 4 days and I was starting to worry then it started rocketing up until it reach a return of 410.3%! I tried reloading saves but that was the highest I could get it

Im on xbox one x and its taking forever and hardly goes past 200%, how long does it take roughly???
Can confirm this, just did this on PC today. Waited a bit longer than the 3-4 days and it sky rocketed to the 380% mark. Went from 33mil on all characters to a solid 240mil across all characters. Patience is certainly advised and definitely have a backup save just in case, this one seems to be the most fluctuating stock for sure.
On the vangelico stock return, I waited til after the paleoto heist and netted a 57.44% return, so not too much more but worth the wait I'd say

I actually had to wait alot longer on most of them to get the increase but I can confirm that it goes past 50% after the paleto bay heist I actually got up to 56% but I forgot to save or my game just bugged or something and when I loaded my game back up it dropped me down to 47.5% but can confirm it goes past 50% just got to be patient with it a sleep alot. Preferably with Trevor to speed it up some

Man, thank you so much for this guide, I managed to reached maximum money cap with all three characters despite not picking up the briefcases with Trevor (that's because I couldn't do the Abigail mission at the dock with Micheal to access the Dinghy until missions later, so I skipped it) and selling the Augury Insurance shares at only 1% profit, great guide.

Couple things to note:
1.The PS5 version of the game seems to be nerfed. I’m only seeing around half the return percentages mentioned in this video.
2. The Vangelico returns vary. For me selling after the Merryweather mission would have netted me 34.91% but after the Paleto score I only got 30%. Best bet is to quick save after the Merryweather mission and try your luck.

@@OldGrumpyGamers Okay so luckily I had an old save and with some trial and error, have found that simply restarting the game before buying any stock will fix things. It’s a pain in the ass but thank god for the PS5’s SSD!

@sandwich2976 I found that it’s not actually nerfed but a glitch. If you restart the game before buying any stock you should be okay.
Not necessarily :/ unfortunately after the scoping the score mission Grupe6 was sitting at -14% and when I restarted my game it went up to +9% even when I went back to my original save I had right after the mission it was still at +9%
Yea I thought it was just my game for the 5 although, I spent a lot of money during the game lol but for the final heist got like 21 milllion. After the game I Did the assassination missions and after everything was said and done got about 550 million so I was happy with that but still was seeing the returns on the stocks them selve
10 months ago and this still works!
I've reached the cap for Franklin, Trevor, and Michael before the last 2 Lester Assassination Missions and still have 3 billion excess for each character in GoldCoast stocks. I've also grinded more start-up money fror Trevor and Franklin doing the hidden packages glitch.

I still have the last assassination mission to do, but your info worked like a charm. Michael made so much $ that he still has $402 million invested in VAP that he can't do anything with, because I'm at the exact game limit for him.
Franklin is at 1.7 billion, and Trevor is at 1.4 billion.
The only extra things I did were invest in FlyUS for all 3 characters, around the time of "Legal Trouble" and collect all the underwater briefcases as Michael.
Sensational work, Stephen! Yeah, we'll throw _Legal Trouble_ in to an updated version at some point...
Also, the Weed Farm is worth mentioning for Trevor. On yet another playthrough, I was lucky enough to get $45,000.
It varies greatly, I've noticed, but occasionally, it's quite large.
Its been a long tine since i tried this but on the LCN web theres a market called eCola(ELC)
What i used to do is go around breaking sprunk vending machines by shooting them and ecola then started to rise so i invested some money before breaking the sprunk machines and got a profit
The red parking garage had a lot of them so i had kept leaving, coming back and breaking the sprunk vending machines

I didn’t do any of the initial stuff and bought some car and properties and by the end of the game i still have 2.1B with each characher and still have the last assassination mission to spare. Amazing guide, you left out the fly us one which was huge since it nets around 100% gains but still amazing stuff, can’t wait to go buy everything 😊🤙

Awesome guide as always. Finished up a recent playthrough where everything here worked for me except epsilon. For some reason epsilon froze on me after I stole all the cars. Never got a follow up mission even though I spent hours finishing the main story and collection sidequests.

It's a glitch, many players reported Dat saving before delivering all the cars and reloading Dat save will prevent u from advancing, so u just gotta check for a tutorial for were the cars spawn and deliver them all at once

@@artenthusiast3967 you can buy more then the shotgun. He’s just saying try to save as much as you can as most missions don’t pay anything gta. If you follow his guide most of the way you will have billion in the end. So I’d say buy your other gun. Just try not to spend as much as you can.
By most of the way I mean the other steps since you diverted a little here lol. Follow as much as you can and you will make the most money.

UPDATE, September 2022.
So playing the latest save I used this guide and the FlyUS stock tip added by Lars Veldhuizen. The Vangelico stock tanked after Paleto Score so I reloaded and sold it after Minor Turbulence, around 54%. The rest worked quite well. FlyUS around 102% and Gruppe Sechs around 25% I bought the Augury insurance before the final mission(The Third way ofcourse) and sold it after I slept a couple days.It rose to around 95%. I also did a bit of stock trading as the game went on and managed to get pretty good returns a few times. The Maze bank went to about 20% once, which I consider a small miracle. The save scumming really works.
I haven't yet done the assassinations nor the Tinkle-guy encounter.
Money situation so far:
Michael: 142M
Franklin: 96M
Trevor: 70M
I got a feeling the money might max out before the final assassination. Or as happened before, there was millions in stock left afterwards which I couldn't sell. :D
A small add to the money for Franklin: Win some races. That'll add a couple thousand once a while.

I've gone through the game at least 4+ times and noticed that even if you do a hard save after investing in the stock market, and if you don't sell at the right time, your stock return goes down, even after loading. I see a few people saying the profits don’t spike like that on new gen and they do I play on series X and have tested all these. But I did have issues with “Augury insurance 100% return” at the end. I looked everywhere to figure out what I was doing wrong as well as loaded previous saves after the last mission to see if it was bugged and even reset the game, And it still wasn’t working. What I did was make a save right before Franklin answered the door for the last mission (mainly to play all the outcomes after) and I reloaded that save. I had to buy AUG stocks with all the money I made up to that point before starting the last mission, once I invested, I completed the final mission again and as soon as I received my Big score money I invested it as well. Then I slept as Trevor for 32hrs and the stock increased 97.76% not sure if it was a bug on my end just making this comment incase anybody else comes across the same issue

If you are missing 100k on Franklin to buy that dock with nuclear waste collection - that comment is for you. I couldn't progress with story line before this. (wanted to max my profit according to this video)
1. Choose Franklin or any other character u need money with.
2. Go near ur bed, make save or two.
3. Open market stock, sort stocks with highest % drop down.
4. You need to find a stock that for the last few days on the chart has been continuously falling. It's not always stock with highest % drop.
5. Invest all your money, go to bed, DO NOT SAVE UR GAME.
6. Repeat step 5 until you got 2% or more gain - sell.
7. This not always work, that's why you need one backup save to load if something goes wrong.
8. With 150k on Franklin i was able to earn extra 110k easily.
9. Tested on LCN market and PS4.

Mine was at 50 something, waited a bit extra and it dropped to 44.41, decided to sell on that eventually.
Mine up to 73%. After several times of reload save game and sleep.
Another good stock if you mess up or didn’t get extra money is Aug Insurance, from multiple tests if you absolutely abuse the quick save mechanism you can get it up to like 30% return. Then rinse and repeat to get MASSIVE gains lol

For those who are wondering if the vangelico part wherein u have to wait till u finish paleto score raises up to 85% is not true however, u will get a maximum 66% profit once u sleep and monitor the stock after the paleto score heist. thats all :)

Good morning all. So this is my first play through of GTA V and I love this guide - it's already helped out so much! I wanted to comment on the Vangelico buy right after completing Eye In The Sky. I can confirm that if you wait until after the Paleto Score to cash out, it will reach over 100% return - but it's a long wait. I had to sleep scrum for approx. 6-7 in-game *WEEKS* (yes, WEEKS!) before seeing that, but alas - it works!! I saw mine peak at around 115% then cashed out at 108%. I used Franklin to keep a watch on the price fluctuations, and Vag will fluctuate - but have patience!

Option C (Deathwish). After completing the game invest in merry-weather when it goes to the lowest cap ($44.00). You can get over 155% return. SaveGame-Invest- checkStock rate-sleep-saveGame-check-sleep-save-loadGame-repeat till 155%. (Works on PS5 2022).

Got max of 10.23% on PS4 (May 2022). I didn't count how many days exactly, but I assume I slept around 4-6 days. Used Trevor to pass time faster.

From my experience, after completing Eye In The Sky, I put all my money in Vangelico and then worked my way up to Minor Turbulence. After that mission, I checked my stock and was at roughly 43% gains. I decided t make an additional save and tested the Paleto Bay heist method. After finishing that and sleeping about 4 days, I was able to get the stock to slightly climb to just over 51%. Not a huge change but I would say its still worth waiting to pull out of Vangelico until after the Paleto heist.

The wait after Paleto didn't work for me, so I returned/reloaded and sold it after Minor Turbulence.
I tested it out and sold after Paleto heist and got 69% return. I didn’t try to go above to see if 80% is possible

Wanted to gladly announce that for three characters : i have done all personal car upgrades, bought all properties possible in the game, bought all weapons full ammo and upgrades, and last but not least all have maximum cash 2,147,483,647$

I also collected that 60K thingy for Franklin instead of Trevor accidentally… There were a couple times my % on my stocks were lower then the ones that were on screen and I had some higher. I maxed out after the bus assassination for all 3 characters. GG. Great guide! 10/10

Followed everything (except skipped a couple early money making techniques 😅) and still ended up with $1.98B with Michael and similar with Franklin and Trevor. For the very last mission you mentioned the highest was 59% return but I slept a few more times with Michael (unfortunately didn’t count) and managed to get that return up to 79.8%!

First of all, the dinghy for the sonar collection wont appear before enetring the Abigail Mission with Michael and that appears After doing the Derailed Mission. And Second thing, the Bilkinton Share was at the negative after the one and a half days sleeping, therefore there was no time where it was 110-140%. So all of the effort before was for nothing…

I just did the Hotel Assasiation investments on Xbox Series X yesterday (June 2022).
Preparation:
Michael: Vangelico Heist (with packie McCreary) = $1M. Also do the Epsilon questline for $2.1M. Total around $3M
Franklin: Vangelico Heist = $250k. Do a the bike theft random encounter for $100K worth of AnimalArk stock. After The Merryweather Heist buy the sonar collection dock for $600k profit. Total $1M
Trevor: honestly I gave up. I bought the airfield and did all the missions, but this was a bad idea. The return on investment for the effort is not worth it imo. In the end I just made up what I lost. So $100k
The actual investing: (make sure to save!)
Before the mission invest all your money in Betta Pharmaceutical. MAKE SURE YOU DO THE MISSION ON A MONDAY (in daytime). Once you do the mission wait 24h and sell Betta at 50% profit. It should be Tuesday at this point.
After that sleep with Michael (tedious I know) until Bilkington is at $50-54 a share. This will be either very early Wednesday or on Thursday. It can be on Friday sometimes.
When you've bought Bilkington. Sleep as Trevor until Monday the following week. Sell when Bilkington is anywhere between $100-120 a share. I managed to luck out and sell at $130 dollars a a share. The peak price can be anywhere between Monday-Thursday. So check the shares everytime you wake up after Monday.
I managed to get 10M for Michael before Blitz Play and 6M for Franklin.
Dude you are the best.... I followed your guide and played GTA as you said, and guess what? I literally made 2.1 billion dollars with each character and so I must say man your guide is best. Also, I want to tell u after legal trouble and meltdown if we purchase flyus stock we get around 100% return with 3 to 4 days waiting. But even without that with your guide anyone can make 2.1 b with each character

I restarted a game just to follow this video guide and safe to say that everything he said still works in 2023. In fact, some of the stock exchanges netted me more profit like the Redwood after DEB investment I got 340% profit putting micheal just below 1 billion dollars

For the redwood stock it wasn’t going up until like 5 days and then by day 7 it went up to 380 percent profit so maybe if you hold it for longer you can get more profit

I think I noticed this too. After a while for some of these stocks I stopped going by the amount of days to sleep and just went with the percentage increase to look for. Made it easier for me. Whatever stock that dropped from $16 to $4, $3 ...then shot back up to $16 is where I made the most money from. I think they all made at least 900,000,000 from that.

@@osamav1nceladen583 Yup. The sleep cycle got really confusing because of this. This also might have been a stock that did different vs the others. So I just started checking for the big changes in percentage.
I went 6 days before I seen a profit for me, it jumped to 100% then 12 hours later or 1 Trevor save it went to 320%
Auguary drops 30% but after trying several times it doesn’t come back up. Only time it came back a lot was when I didn’t actually invest in the first place

Just finished this on a playthrough, great guide. Couple of things... the Dingy is only available for Trevor to find the briefcase in the ocean once Micheal has started the stranger mission with Abigail after Franklin purchases the dock. Biker chick can also become a love interest for Trevor if you use someone else as the Altruist victim.
I was also curious to know if doing all Lester missions after the main storyline instead of doing the Hotel Assassination midway through the game makes a difference in how much you can make.
I just ran into this problem. Franklin bought the dock, and they're no stranger mission's available for Michael anymore. Any advice?
@@andrewbillette8859 The stranger mission for Michael with Abigail becomes available after a certain point in the story. I'm not sure when though. I bought the dock with Franklin, found all the nuclear waste, did a few story missions and she appeared on the dock for Michael.
Thanks, Shreyas, Andrew... _What Lies Beneath_ (the Abigail mission) becomes available for Michael around 2 in-game days after *anyone* purchases the Sonar Collections Dock; which itself becomes available for purchase after the Merrywhether Heist (the first Trevor heist). You need to start the _What Lies Beneath_ / Nuclear Submarine challenge to spawn the dinghy.
...also, Shreyas, you *can't* delay doing _The Hotel Assassination_ :( It's needed to progress the story.
@@OldGrumpyGamers Ah, I figured there was a reason you included it midway through. I did follow the guide completely and reached money cap on all 3 before finishing last assassination. In fact, I bought all properties, guns, clothes and every single possible thing that I can buy with all 3 characters and am already again at money cap while also sitting on stock from the 2nd to last assassination worth 1.5B on each of the characters that I can't cash in because I'm at money cap lol.

Doing my first playthrough on my PS5 & am halfway through this guide. Tip to anyone reading this playing on PS5- Vangellico shows -16% right after Minor Turbulence. You have to wait multiple days to get it up to 50-60%. Trying the Paleto Score tip next
Update- you have to save several days to get it to 75%

For those on PS5, time to sleep & stock outcome is slightly different. This is the highest profit I got in return with the most hours slept.
I only followed the stock market portion of the video as I had already finished the game. All characters investing ~33M
- Debonaire: 32 hours nets 52% return
- Redwood: 8.5 days nets 358% return
- Fruit: 6 hours nets 22% return
- Facade: 7.5 days nets 33% return
- Vapid: 8 days nets 102% return
- Gold Coast: 4 days nets 54% return
Each character only managed to net around $1.2B.

Best guide I've ever seen.
Best thing to do is don't do the Lester missions until you finish the story mode. Then put all the money from the big score into the stocks then you will make the 2.1 Billion. It worked for me for all three players

Thanks, Slump. It can take up to an in-game week to get the stock notification (which comes via in-game email). You _may_ also need to progress the game a few missions. Just keep an eye on the email... the stock _will_ turn up (eventually).
For me, AUG has run ~450% give or take from the time of story completion up to right before the last assassination mission. It might be worth investing in and holding onto. If you want to buy a dip, clog the highway with a car barricade and wait until a bunch of cars are in a traffic jam before destroying all the cars. found this to be extremely helpful, sitting on 7 billion in GCD stock with Michael right before I do this mission.
Also, i believe you can start the random event with the mobster’s daughter at any time. thankfully i ran into her with trevor at the beginning of the game. to have that extra $60,000 before investing

Thought I was doing something wrong but there just seems to be tons of variations in the game. Took me around in game 11 days for RWC to spike up but I eventually sold at 329%
Edit: I managed to hit the capacity before the GCD assassination. I'm temped to put away money in different stocks and do the mission anyways but I'm pretty sure the game doesn't even allow you to accumulate over the capacity in stocks. So even if I put a 1/2 billion away in an unrelated stock and the rest in GCD, I don't think I'd have more than the max in shares.

I was constantly skipping time to get to 300%. I never did though and I eventually left it at 278% which took 2 in game weeks to achieve.

Im happy to say, follow this guid for the most part in order from Lesters 1st assassination mission thru the final. By the time I started selling the Vapid stock, the game maxed out on all 3 characters each with a little over $2B each with Valid stock left to sell but I cant. Lucky me, I was able to break the game. 💪🏼💪🏼
I reached the cash ceiling. I started buying properties and selling the stock to build my cash back up. After the final assain mission, I owned all properties, still reached the cash ceiling of over $2B each with stocks still available to sell.
If you need money at the start you can dive for the money crates,quick save and load the save again to collect it over and over
hey I'm trying to complete the final epsilon mission but keep dying cause I don't have enough armor and can't save do you think cheat codes would prevent pushing past 2.1 billion?

Btw, the AUG stock was 267$. After saving quiting coming back, it went up to 527$ which was an average price. Weird and curious.

I tested selling the Vangelico stock after the Paleto score and I was only able to net 44%, compared to the 46% I would have gotten if I sold after Minor Turbulence. Pretty much the same, nothing compared to the 85% that guy claimed to net.

On next gen I bought vangelico stock and after minor turbolence i slept for 1and a half days and got 70% return
Yea I never saw my Vangelico stock go up over 30%. Waited until after Poleto heist and sold at 25%
Also after the canon ending when don percival sends you the e-mail you can buy merryweather stocks, hold them for about 5-6-7 days and make around 22% profit, I tried after I read in the e-mail "thanks to you I can buy Devin Weston's part on this temporal low", idk if you can make more, some days the stocks were on -10%, but I held and make a 22% profit

I think you missed an investment opportunity. It's between the missions Legal Trouble and Meltdown. Invest in FlyUS stock before completing Meltdown, then wait 24 hours, and you should get a huge return. I got a 95% return, so it's a very good investment. I didn't try to maximize profits, so maybe you could get a better return.

I just did some testing with Vangelico and got the following results after 5 trials of waiting till after Paleto:
2 out of 5 trials went above 30% return (one maxing at 37% and the other at 52%)
Price started going up after 2-3 days waiting
3 out of 5 trials were at just under 30% immediately following Paleto and stayed above 20% for the next week but never went above 30%
Waiting till after Paleto to get a larger return is very possible but inconsistent.
The 5 trials took about 45 min to an hour to get an idea of how long it takes to get a good return.

Man, I have to thank you for this guide. Used it last year, with PS3 (offline, no BQWSAQ) and coupled with diving for the 25K briefcase like 50 times for each character, ended it with over 1.1 for all 3.
This time, on PS4, with only getting the briefcase maybe 20 times for each character early in the game to be able to buy weapons, I followed the guide and saved the Twinkle stock tip until the very end (even after the Lester assassination missions) and now I'm maxed out on all 3 characters, with 3 stocks (Vapid, Gold Coast and Twinkle) having MILLIONS of shares on each stock whenever I want to sell some shares to have max money in the bank, after buying what I want, lol.
Needless to say, this guide is the Truth...appreciate you, OGG.
