You can adjust the time on this watch without using BT, just press and hold the upper left button and you go to the another dispay and there you find time adjust and there you can adjust your time and date the only thing you can not set is the seconds
After the MWC's in depth review I realised that the new smart square is actually too smart for my daily needs and too thick because of the heart monitor ♥ So I think this one currently is a better option. I'm sure some day we'll see the regular square with this MIP display with a few extras like solar power & bluetooth. But for now I'd choose this DWH5600.

I chatted briefly with Russell the other day. We both own the GBD 200 and he agreed the design is much better than the H5600. The buttons are much easier to access when you're using the menu system as well. They are larger and there's the center button also.

@@GD-hm6lm I have the GBD 200 and have been using it for almost a year. Simply put, it's the best Casio watch I've owned and daily drive. The MIP display is just perfect, the vibration motor is very good and it covers the basic fitness tracking needs (tho I still want the DWH5600 because of the heart and oxygen sensors). The calls feature is good, but the farther you are from your phone, the slower the notification. Since everything is Bluetooth connected, it all depends on how strong the connection is. Since I have my phone close to me for a good portion of the day, it helps me alot when I am working and I leave my phone in my room. Any calls I get, I get a near-instant watch notification/vibration. Notifications, though... They're pretty useless imo. To reach them is a chore and you cannot filter out many unwanted/annoying notifications. I didn't buy it for notifications, though. but if you want a watch that sends legible and readable notifications, this aint it. Still, I always recommend the GBD200. It's a beautiful and functional phone.

They're solar but I don't think it's solar "enough" to actually keep the watch charged all the time. You have to charge it manually kind of like the solar versions of the Garmin smart watches.
Had this before. Sold it just because of the lacking hourly chime. I know it’s petty but it felt boring without it. It felt like I didn’t have a digital casio on my wrist 😅

I had the GBD200, but it needs to be rechargable, Casio are half-arsing it making you replace the battery, Bluetooth eats it. I have a DW-H5600 now and I prefer it, the GBD200 is still lovely though.

Well, normally any DW5600 Square G-Shock is a good beater. But if you want solar; the G5600 is the way to go. As for the watch I reviewed here, the major USP is the MIP display. They look fantastic. It's just a shame they have yet to do a solar version of these. Anyways, thanks for watching 😎

Tbh pal you can hardly see the green on the watch the dark green lugs, buttons and one bit of green text is so dark it looks just like black the same as the watch to be fair.

you're right - autolight exists, but on solar powered models it triggers only in the dark place (solar pannel used as light detector) and on this model it's triggers every time and drain battery very fast... @@NMwatch
