    About those crash bars. I literally saw a motorcycle that went down that had those big crash bars. Rather than the bikes staying down on its side when it went down, those crash bars actually held the bike up so the Tigers would grip the ground again, which caused the bike to cart wheel through the windshield of an oncoming car. Those crash bars Do not protect the engine on this bike. That engine would never touch the ground. The handlebars, the seat, the exhaust pipes, would keep that engine from touching the ground, and those crash bars would see to it that the tires with grip again causing the bike to flip if it was ever tossed down the road..
    those five settings on the front brake lever are not for how much pressure you want to apply to the brakes. The brakes will always apply the same pressure, the thing that changes when you dial the selector from 1 to 5, is how far you have to reach for the lever depending on the size of your hands, and the thickness of your gloves, you may want to have one setting for thin gloves, one setting for thick warmer gloves.I repeat, that dial does not change the brake pressure. It only changes how far the lever is from the handlebars

    its all i need without getting myself in trouble :P
    its a nice heavy sturdy bike so that does slow it down a little, but I can't complain as I am used to riding 150's. If your used to riding a 400 or 600 cc bike then this is going to be a step back, but its very smooth and comfortable and I'd say more than you need on a daily basis.

    I did an extensive search on 250s and came to the conclusion that either of these two will suit me for city traffic and occasional short distance highway rides. I guess I have to try both of them before making a final decision. I love the styling of the cbr but I've heard that inazuma is much more comfortable with better seats and alot less vibration and engine is almost on par with the cbr.
    I just don't want to regret buying one of them and say "I wish I bought the other one" :)

    it is a good bike because it is a solid good bike, you see what I put it through, some of the conditions that I ride it in, you see it still runs perfect..

    very nice video review! thanks for the great review. I'm waiting to get this bike someday, I want a 2 cylinder bike but cant afford the 650cc bikes.
    the other option against this bike is the Kawasaki Z250, also 2 cylinders, it should cost around $1200 more.
    I like this bike more because of the seat, it's perfect for 2 person. the Z250 back seat is not comfortable for the passenger.
    if you are driving with your g/f or wife, this looks to be the best in the 250cc categories.

    there is a speed test on here that had it up to 154, I have not gotten it that high yet.
    The highest I have gotten it is 148 kmph with a passenger on the back, so it can probably get to 154 kmph on a bit on a decline with only one person riding it. I had it jump from 148 kmph to 152 kmph when the rear got a little air on a bump.
    I can do 0-100 one day sooner than a top speed test but I can try to do that also, its difficult getting it past 140 kmph. I was surprised at 148 when it got there.

  • @brfsa
    @brfsa 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    Could you do a speed test? maximum speed and 0-100Km/h test?
    your video is excellent!
    thanks

  • @HelmetCustomscom
    @HelmetCustomscom  10 ปีที่แล้ว

    yes the bike rides best at that speed, about 110-120 kmph, and i have rode it for about 10 hours on the shanwei trip I have uploaded, I forget exactly how long, we were exhuasted when we got back, like 1 am.. we took about 1 hour break in shanwei and came back. (about 5 hours each way). I ride for hours often, and theres never a problem

    I sm deciding between inazuma and cb250f also known as twister. Which one would you suggest?? And why.. i am into touring.. 500-600km a day while doing tours. They inazuma has better seat but less hp due to weight. Shed some light please.

  • @Shxckr
    @Shxckr ปีที่แล้ว

    Where’d you find the crash bars?

  • @HelmetCustomscom
    @HelmetCustomscom  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    well the cbr250r is a sport bike where the Inazuma is a street bike, so there will be a large difference in many aspects of both bikes. IMO, You should figure out which one of those kinds of bikes you want and pick between the 2 based on which bike style you prefer to ride. They are difficult to compare even though they are both 250's..

  • @HelmetCustomscom

    it is actually a custom cut belly pan, you can order one on gw250inazumaDOTcom but they need to special order it so it takes some time to ship out, where the other products ship out right away. It explains it slightly in the item description there. Here is the direct link:

    I'm 212lbs atm with plans of dropping another 10. is a 250 even worth my time or should I opt for something bigger?

  • @HelmetCustomscom
    @HelmetCustomscom  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    After your first oil change.
    My owners guide is in Chinese and Suzuki has been no help to get me an English manual... in fact I have not been able to get any English support on the gw250 at all... that is the only problem I have had though, the bike itself has been perfect.
    To be safe, don't use high RPM's until your first oil change (1000 km). Maybe use the "city" setting for gear indicators until then. After the oil change it will be fine to push it as hard as you want. I did mine @ 800km

    The thingi is i find the engine a bit too hot even for short rides, does the bike comes with a stock coolant upon purchase or u have to put it by yourself?

    Would you say this is a good bike for starters, im planning on taking the license after newyears. and im looking over bikes with less effect and horse powers as theres a max limits of 36 horse power when im 18 in Norway.

    Hei jeg er Norsk jeg og tok mc lappen (A2) i Mai, du har sikkert ikke fått det med deg men det er nye regler på mc lappen nå, nå kan du kjøre opp til 48 HK på A2 sertifikatet ;) men jeg vurderer denne sykkelen selv da det virker som en god begynner sykkel :)
