@@SherlockedStorytellr Ah yeah I can imagine that, although I think there are some different laws for covers or parodies of songs, but don't know the exact details about them 😅
Amazing 🤩 I don't remember seeing this bit in the streams, so extra grateful that you've pulled it out. Micheál is one of my favourite characters, so it would be incredible if they ever came back to this idea
You’re very welcome, glad it’s useful for stuff like that. It totally would be incredible if they did! Hopefully pulling it out like this reminds them of it too 😉 (if they want to of course!)
Thank you so much! I hadn’t realised until I saw this AHnecdote that I’ve never seen this stream! What a lovely surprise that was - I’ve just spent the evening watching it 🤩
What an idea! 😆 If they could do it without getting sued, I'm sure it would be hilarious. It's very impressive to see how fast Arms can come up with song lyrics when prompted - and to hear him sing them, of course!
Yeah, it’s brilliant! But the whole suing thing could be an issue… they’d be brave to take on the big mouse… not sure how protected parody is but with their legal clout…
@@SherlockedStorytellr - Yeah... They managed to do "Irish Farmer vs. Universal Music" and got away with it, but who knows. They might have to look into what they would be able to get away with in terms of parody. (They could always make up a few of Michael O'Connaill's Christmas carols for a December sketch sometime - it has been suggested elsewhere and would be less fraught with copyright issues).
@@ironwoman84 yeah, that’s another one I’d love to see! As you say they’ve got away with it before. I’m not sure if it’s just fine if you perform it yourself or change it a bit or whatever. Trouble is if they take against it there’s not much point arguing…
@@SherlockedStorytellr - They would definitely have to do their research ahead of time to make sure they could do it legally. Probably too much work for them right now with the 'world tour' getting underway! Maybe another year..
This would be funny if they could do it! I'm sure there are plenty of Disney songs that might have originated with a humble Irish farmer... "A Whole New Herd" maybe? Or who could forget this catchy tune: "I need- a new tractor / The one that John Deere made / I need- a new tractor / With a harrow-ing blade / It's a problem-free / Farm that I'll see / When I've a new tractor! .... 😁
@@SherlockedStorytellr ...Those were just the ones I could think of on the spur of the moment! There must be more that would be suitable, but I can't spend all day thinking up funny songs (have to leave that to the lads whose job it actually is! 😊)
@@SherlockedStorytellr 😆 I think we all wish that, sometimes! Edit: How could I forget about that song the farmer wrote while he was waiting for a shipment of barbed wire that never arrived? "Some Day My Fence Will Come..."
Ohh man I would love to actually see them do this, the short improv is already brilliant!
Haha yeah. Maybe we can remind them of it. But not sure if they would want to take on the big mouse 🐭 copyright/lawsuits 😅

@@Margot-ArieKanarie maybe, hopefully 🤞 they seem to have got away with it with other big songs so 🤞🤞

Oh lovely! And what a lovely stream to catch up on! I think it’s got the most AHnecdotes from it currently.

Haha love those ideas! And you’ve picked songs from my two favourite Disney movies as well!
