2:47 It's kinda interesting how they noticeably hesitate to kill Babar. Like they know he's been with them for so long and feel terrible that he has to die.
Plot twist: The reason why Qubo seemed to be harsh towards its viewers is that the animation of the chracters being shot & killed was made by a group of workers who are trying to save their jobs in order to still be able to feed their families.
Everybody's going "waaaaah why did qubo have to shutdown D:" but im thinking, what would have happened if the viewers donated 2500 dollars after a few characters died? Would that make the shows of said character not appear again? (Example: character of VeggieTales dies, VeggieTales doesnt air anymore on qubo)
Imagine if kids are watching it in an old TV, they are all alone and their parents aren't at home, it will probably be the scariest and traumatic experience in their childhood o_o
This is actually their fault. Scaring children at 11:56 PM and asking in 4 minutes for $2500 dollars. All the while burning their own universe to the ground, little by little, that’s just fucked up.
Realistically speaking, what was Qubo’s plan if they did raise the money in time? Just say “jk guys your favorite characters actually did not die in a horrific way, now back to regularly scheduled programming”?
You know what’s really weird? Qubo was created a day AFTER I was born. On 9/9/2006 it came after me. It feels like I was supposed to watch it, but I never did. And now I feel bad.
I’ve seen some real real terrifying stuff, but this gave me some chills, I can’t even imagine how extremely terrifying this must be for a child to see, all I know is that my 7 year old self would be too scared to even sleep
I watched Qubo when I was little. I have nostalgia for some of these characters. But seeing how they treated the shutdown of their channel, kinda glad they’re gone.
I've never seen Qubo(i'm from Italy),this got in my recommended of youtube,but...That's horrible. This scares kids...and the "thanks for nothing" because of the selfishness of us...not only they scare little kids but they blame them because of NOT donating.I was born in 1995 but this gave me shivers.I'm afraid to imagine kids wathing that...Scarier than an horror movie.NOT KIDDING!
This is just disturbing. I didn't have Qubo on my TV and didn't care for it that much, but why would they end their channel like that? Are they unaware that there are children watching this TV channel? The characters getting shot, the red background and saying "it's your fault and "thanks for nothing". This is the absolute worst I have seen from this network, completely unacceptable.
No way. that’s messed up. Why the heck were their faces shot off? Imagine being a parent and just shielding you child’s eyes from this while you watch this happen. They could have put on a simple message like, “thanks for watching! Unfortunately, unless qubo is donated money soon, operations will stop. Instead, they slowly shot and killed all the characters and put a dark red background. No one would donate to a channel that would do that. It’s not selfish to not want to donate to some insanely scary doodoo like that. Sorry for the long comment.
Qubo ACTUALLY showed that! THIS IS THE FIRST (actually... only) time that Qubo ever showed death! That's too dark for Qubo! Speaking of dark, was this promo shown overnight or if not, what time was it? Besides, when adult content airs on kids' channels, it never airs in broad daylight, only "@ Nite". (drumroll and cymbal) Get it? But seriously, what time that day was that shown?
Kids and Parents: Ah yes, nice channel for shows. Qubo: we’ll traumatize your children and you have to donate $2,500 to us. Children: *Thousand Yard Stare* Parents: WHAT THE HELL
As a former kid that watched qubo growing up this is sad to see, I remember spending every minute of every day watching this and now seeing this as a 15 year old is depressing it didn't have to end this way, y'know with the creepiness of it all and the characters getting shot and stuff just creeps me out and I hope no kid watching the end of qubo had to see that
I'm 60 years old and I love watching cartoons qubo was one of my favorite digital tv channels it went from cartoons to western movies to black tv shows and now it shows useless tv courtroom shows.
That was a completely unnecessary way to kill off Qubo. They didn't even care about the fact that actual children were watching Qubo when this happened. Imagine how many kids who were watching Qubo at that time. They have probably been traumatized for life. The dark, and very ominous red background is threatening and very spooky, and the characters getting shot, and basically killed, is enough to give any child goosebumps, and not the good kind, either. Not to mention, they blamed the viewers for not being quick enough to save their characters, saying "it's your fault" and "thanks for nothing". This was super unnecessary. This is the worst way you can say goodbye. There was absolutely no need for this. Instead of being like The WB when they aired premiere episodes as their final goodbye, or acted way more light-hearted in tone, they instead opt for scaring children and traumatizing them for life. This is the absolute worst I have ever seen from Qubo, let alone any television network. This was completely unacceptable. I am surprised that they didn't make international headlines because of this. And this is coming from a person who actively watched Qubo during their childhood back in the late 2000s. I feel so sorry for the children who watched this as it happened. Completely unacceptable and unnecessarily disturbing.
i can’t describe this other than.. disturbing. the characters slowly dying off into nothing, the eerie silent music interrupted by repetitive gunshots, the blood, the blame being put on the viewers, and the “thanks for nothing” coming from a children’s television program? I feel bad for the children who had to witness this so casually after their cartoon finished.
Oh god this is terrifying, looks like I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'm very sorry for those kids who had to see the show end like that. They sure ended with a "bang".
Sad, My niece who was actually a fan of the Qubo channel, had to witness this along with me. Honestly, this was such a dark way to shut down a childrens program that was loved by many.
I used to watch Qubo as a kid and seeing that THIS is how it ended and they are blaming us for their ends is kinda disturbing. Also the "Thanks for nothing" comment at the end really just crushed my childhood.
I'm literally crying, this is so awful, they killing childhood favorite characters only because they want money. If I would watch this this as a kid at night, I'd rather to turn off my tv, destroy it, and lay under cover for week, instead paying them
dude that's so disturbing. why did they think showing that to children/parents would make them want to donate? the only way i can think of is by manipulating young children into actually thinking their favorite characters will die if they don't call, and getting them to steal their parents credit card info. and then what? by the time they're done calling the timer will be out. disgusting.
i dont blame the kids for not donating. keep in mind that this is a KIDS CHANNEL, and what they did was absolutely disgusting. tons of kids were probably watching it at the time, and qubo was probably some of the kids favorite channel. when they saw this, they probably were traumatized for life and crying like crazy to their moms and dads. not to mention the "thanks for nothing" and "this is all your fault" is INCREDIBLY selfish. this is not a way to say to goodbye to qubo, and this is completely unnecessary and unacceptable. instead of saying a formal goodbye, they just pull off something like this? who even thought about putting this on the television and thought it was okay? horrible, just horrible.
I stopped watching Qubo over time because I grew up, but good god. This is sad for many reasons: not only do viewers not have all the power to keep a program afloat forever and therefore don’t deserve the blame for things like this happening in full, but the audience is CHILDREN and their FAMILIES, which Qubo made it very clear they were aware of. Their wording alone at the end is purposefully aggressive and guilt tripping at a time where viewers aren’t in a position to help it any further, but including the segment before it is just…horrible. 4 minutes to give them $2500 at 11:56 at night is not only stupid but insane, like a hostage situation but with the ridiculousness of threatening fictional lives. It’s despicable to do so on a channel they know is broadcast exclusively to fans, families, and kids, and just. Wow. What a terrible note to end their legacy on. I loved it so much as a kid too, and this is my first time seeing this because uhhh hi Qubo some of your viewers have lives. Unbelievable. I’m sorry to all the kids that had to see that and comprehend what they were seeing.
I can’t believe they were so harsh on us like that. That was horrible. Why would u do this to the viewers Qubo? I’m not a fan of the channel but this is no way to treat the viewers so I feel bad for them.
I was very surprised this was real. I haven’t witnessed it myself but to see innocent fictional characters being killed and to make it worse there was blood and gore shown on a FRIGGING kids channel is so scary to see. It actually traumatized me. And the message they sent is so messed up yet terrifying. I can’t imagine how many kids got nightmares later that night.
Scumbags. "This is your fault." They make it seem like it's your fault when they're literally asking for $2,500 while they're over here killing all of their characters. Absolutely sick. Edit: I didn't even see the last part, "thanks for nothing" ??? Keep in mind this is a children's programming, thank God they ended up closing, or else this toxicity would have kept going. Scumbags, it's literally all I can say.
jesus christ this is terrifying, i have never heard of this channel but oh my god. that would scar me for life and i'm honestly kinda regretting watching this so late at night.
This is probably how the people felt when this channel was no longer going to be aired. Like if someone told me that my show or my channel that I’ve had running for a long time had to be taken down I’d be like, you know what screw it I don’t even care anymore.
LET ME GET THIS BULL STRAIGHT!! You shoot my childhood characters, because it's nearly impossible to make $2,500 appear out of thin air, like some Disney BS, and it's ALL *MY* FAULT!? Another thing is, me watching for over a decade is quote on quote "useless" for a cable channel that runs free?
everyone is saying how disturbing this is, but no one is talking about how the characters are literally SMILING during their literal doomsday, and aren't even moving out of the way
This was genuinely horrifying to watch and I didn't even grow up with watching Qubo (I don't think). Literal Children witnessed their favorite characters being killed. This is fucked.
Inspector Gadget watches and does nothing while everyone else gets shot before him.
The creepiest part is when you call the phone number
It took me WAYYYY too long to realize characters were being killed off, I just saw Bob vanish and was like. Wait a freaking second-
They seriously let the inspector watch as all of his fellow qubo friends die, until it was just him left
2:47 It's kinda interesting how they noticeably hesitate to kill Babar. Like they know he's been with them for so long and feel terrible that he has to die.
unsupervised kid: Oh Boy! Cant Wait To Watch Qubo In This Good Day Of 2/27/2021!
i dont know why but the "its all your fault" gave me chills
What if they reached their donation goal at 5:00 and they just aired inspector gadget 24/7
It's disappointing that Qubo was cancelled. There were shows I remember and loved when I was in preschool.
Imagine being a kid staying up in the night to watch your favorite shows on Qubo, and all of a sudden this happens…
Right as the video ended I got an alert for a severe thunderstorm watch. Thanks, Qubo.
My soul would have left my body
OH FRICK
Plot twist: The reason why Qubo seemed to be harsh towards its viewers is that the animation of the chracters being shot & killed was made by a group of workers who are trying to save their jobs in order to still be able to feed their families.
It literally went out with a bang
There is a wide variety of ways you can say goodbye and this is what they chose.
Cartman Stan Kyle and Kenny: *crying*
That's what I've been thinking too-
Well tbh it sucks then that Rupert had to die first considering I genuinely liked him-
the "2006-2021" part and the "thanks for nothing" part never fails to send chills down my spine
Jesus Christ, please tell me that this is fake.
Imagine if kids are watching it in an old TV, they are all alone and their parents aren't at home, it will probably be the scariest and traumatic experience in their childhood o_o
This is traumatizing. I didn’t know if it was fake or not. So dark and way too terrifying!
pov: you are cartoon network in august of 2022
if i saw this as a child id be in therapy rn 😭
"This is your fault"
Thats one of the most scariest moments, that i have ever heard.
Is it me, or were the delayed shots creepier then the regular timing shots
Yea
Its like they hesitated to shoot them but had to..
Omg. U are right....
Qubo’s final words: “thanks for *nothing.*
Why is nobody talking about the fact that Bob the Tomato has a skull?
This is actually their fault. Scaring children at 11:56 PM and asking in 4 minutes for $2500 dollars. All the while burning their own universe to the ground, little by little, that’s just fucked up.
Did you notice: Whenever a character gets shot, The Qubo Logo behind gets 1% darker.
"This is your _fault."_
Qubo
2006-2021
*_"Thanks for nothing."_*
Some reason (even though this is 3 years old) this scares me
Pov: you don't have cable but are still traumatized by how the characters were killed off, and the toxicity of the company
Realistically speaking, what was Qubo’s plan if they did raise the money in time? Just say “jk guys your favorite characters actually did not die in a horrific way, now back to regularly scheduled programming”?
Children are literally watching, and now qubo’s last seconds were killing their own characters, bro.
Well. That's certainly one way to wrap up your last day on the job.
I can’t believe it’s already been a month since Qubo died
Oh the misery
Everyone wants to be my enemy
Spare the misery
Everyone wants to be my enemy
-sang by qubo
You know what’s really weird? Qubo was created a day AFTER I was born. On 9/9/2006 it came after me. It feels like I was supposed to watch it, but I never did. And now I feel bad.
All this time Bob the Tomato had a human skull.
They could’ve jus simply had the characters turn into dust as if they were Thanos snapped, but nope. They took things to a whole different level…
The sounds are just so terrifying, and the way they die and disappear is even more.
This is going to be remembered by the next gen as a traumatic childhood memory
I’ve seen some real real terrifying stuff, but this gave me some chills, I can’t even imagine how extremely terrifying this must be for a child to see, all I know is that my 7 year old self would be too scared to even sleep
I'm crying. I kinda grew up watching Qubo shows
Why do all good things have to come to an end?
I watched Qubo when I was little. I have nostalgia for some of these characters. But seeing how they treated the shutdown of their channel, kinda glad they’re gone.

Today is actually my first time learning that Qubo has been discontinued.
Kids and Parents: Ah yes, nice channel for shows.
Qubo: we’ll traumatize your children and you have to donate $2,500 to us.
Children: *Thousand Yard Stare*
Parents: WHAT THE HELL
What a great way to traumatize an entire kids generation.
As a former kid that watched qubo growing up this is sad to see, I remember spending every minute of every day watching this and now seeing this as a 15 year old is depressing it didn't have to end this way, y'know with the creepiness of it all and the characters getting shot and stuff just creeps me out and I hope no kid watching the end of qubo had to see that

classic, saw it live on tv
This is creepy like seriously they kill the characters, then they say it's all your fault... that is creepy af why would qubo do that?
Qubo should have known better when they said "its all your fault" and "thanks for nothing."
That was a completely unnecessary way to kill off Qubo. They didn't even care about the fact that actual children were watching Qubo when this happened. 2:01 ngl thats a terrifying face
4:49 dude i stg did anybody else hear a dog whimpering when the dog got shot
don't worry about bob, he is the dark lord of building and can not be stopped

4:38 Jay Jay looks terrifying
0:56 What were they thinking? They went insane! Killing little children's favorite cartoon characters then blaming it on them? Sheesh bro.
imagine being 7 and at 3am awake and witnessing this
RIP Qubo (9/9/2006-2/27/21) Almost 15 years of brodcasting.
Edit: 14 years of brodcasting. Goodbye Qubo
Oh god this is terrifying, looks like I won't be able to sleep tonight. I'm very sorry for those kids who had to see the show end like that.
They sure ended with a "bang".
How a tomato have bones
This reminds me how cartoon network turns into adult swim at night, what comes inbetween… is unknown
Sad, My niece who was actually a fan of the Qubo channel, had to witness this along with me. Honestly, this was such a dark way to shut down a childrens program that was loved by many.
this is too gory.. also the fact that it was aired at midnight terrifies the shit outta me
Wait so they just showed a save qubo ad and literally showed characters getting shot
"this is your fault" says the company that somehow went bankrupt and begged viewers for money💀
I used to watch Qubo as a kid and seeing that THIS is how it ended and they are blaming us for their ends is kinda disturbing. Also the "Thanks for nothing" comment at the end really just crushed my childhood.

This whole video In a nutshell:
Characters in the Qubo channel get their faces cut off
And then you get taken on a guilt trip
I miss qubo so much 2006-2021😔😔😔😔😔
massive props to qubo for going out with a bang
I can’t believe they were so harsh on us like that. That was horrible. Why would u do this to the viewers Qubo? I’m not a fan of the channel but this is no way to treat the viewers so I feel bad for them.
Damn, I can’t believe this actually aired. Really messed up. Feel bad for any kids who saw this.
Just gonna casually add this to the Gen Alpha Childhood Trauma list…
I was very surprised this was real. I haven’t witnessed it myself but to see innocent fictional characters being killed and to make it worse there was blood and gore shown on a FRIGGING kids channel is so scary to see. It actually traumatized me. And the message they sent is so messed up yet terrifying. I can’t imagine how many kids got nightmares later that night.
3:56 is terrifying
My favorite Qubo show is “Dragon”. The blue dragon on that show is very cute.
0:50 and the normal programming ends and coming up is everyone getting killed for 4 and 1/4 minutes. Inspector gadget dies last.
0:46 the last peaceful moment before... Whatever the heck happened next.
This actually was live on TV at some places! I feel sorry for the little kids who had to watch this.
the same time qubo ended was the same time my cousins birthday was ruined because the dog ate the cake
Scumbags. "This is your fault." They make it seem like it's your fault when they're literally asking for $2,500 while they're over here killing all of their characters. Absolutely sick.

1:44 this part maked me kinda confused
After seeing this the first time, I could not go to sleep without my glow in the dark phone charger plugged in. That's how hard it got me.
jesus christ this is terrifying, i have never heard of this channel but oh my god. that would scar me for life and i'm honestly kinda regretting watching this so late at night.

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year ago since Qubo left
everyone is saying how disturbing this is, but no one is talking about how the characters are literally SMILING during their literal doomsday, and aren't even moving out of the way
So we’re gonna ignore the fact that a tomato has an ACTUAL SKULL?
This was genuinely horrifying to watch and I didn't even grow up with watching Qubo (I don't think). Literal Children witnessed their favorite characters being killed. This is fucked.
