Still using mine right now. The ONLY issue I've had with it, is that recently the battery life has dipped, but that's easy enough to have replaced. I've taken care of mine, it's always in a good case and still as quick doing tasks as it was when it was new. I've looked recently at finally 'upgrading' but unless I go with the latest flagship, no other phone offers enough of an upgrade for me to consider going through the hassle for one. I’ll be honest the battery is really bad. Cause I was using for abt 9 months as my phone broke and it was just lying around. Also it could be really laggy when doing simple things
Why would i pay more money for a phone without a headphone jack or removable storage when I can have an s9 that does everything I want it to do perfectly well?
Hey I was thinking of doing the same thing I hang wallpaper for a living and I was thinking of getting the S9 and just using it as a music and podcast listening device as I can get one for less than a hundred so how are the external speakers on the S9
Headphone jack, no hole punch, curved edges, physical fingerprint censor. Great phone, loving daily driving it. Battery life isn't the best, but manageable.
I'm still using my S10 since 2019 and it's holding incredibly good. No plans to change my phone in 2024. The battery was crap since I bought it, but despite it, it's an awesome phone and I really recommend it with your looking for a cheap used phone.
@@scottdunn4506galaxy s10 is still good I'm using it now it still fine for TH-cam,whatsapp,messenger,Facebook and more. I recommend buying anything from s7-current
I got my S9 free with the government lifeline program, and I love it. I play PUBG Mobile on it every day with no issues. I never use the camera, and any other thing I need to do on a phone works just as well on this than on any newer super expensive phone, so I'm happy with it.
Well, I keep trying to find a reason to get rid of my S9+ and I hear all the reasons to do so, but most of the reasons are relatively weak. When my storage space was getting low I just added an SD card and have more space than I even need. When my battery is low and I don't feel like checking to see if my wireless earbuds are charged I can even use the headset jack while charging. What a concept. lol Security fingerprint is in the perfect spot as well. I think Samsung messed up and made too good of a phone so started taking things away for the newer phones. Crazy, but true.
What is this? A review talking about how you used to feel about it in the past and what they should have done. But not worth buying now? So, you posted this just so you could put affiliate links in the description?
Can you just get the processor upgraded or even cleaned (to remove dust that interferes with the parts usage) somewhere? I want to be able to keep using the S9 that bad...but I need a strategy for it.
I actually like the thick chin, it makes the phone perfect to game on. Also you can get one ui 3.0 or 4.0 (maybe even 5.0) on this phone using a custom rom called the NOBLE ROM. Sadly my S9+'s OLED broke, and its absurdly expensive to replace it. You can get 2 used S9+ for that price in my country 😢
I've had to replace my S9 3 times in the last 5 years due to the battery becoming awful and the phone becoming very unresponsive after a year of use. The display and audio still holds up in the modern market however all other aspect feel very dated.
I activated my new S9 in early January 2020 and it's still going strong after 4 plus years. The only issue I've had recently was " Moisture in the charging port" alert. So I bought a cordless charger. But now after using the cordless charger it's charging with a cord and not having any issues. This little computer has been flawless since day one. I even typed some important business letters on this phone, using a large key board to make it faster at typing. It also functions as my TV, watching programs on TH-cam.
