I have secondary adrenal insufficiency. And I didn’t get it from any of those things that you have listed. I got it from an immunotherapy drug that was given to me to fight melanomas. Did you know that 40% of people who get these immunotherapy drugs end up with an autoimmune condition? Secondary adrenal insufficiency is one of them I went, probably close to a year with his condition without being diagnosed, and I almost died. I had this medication five years ago. Why isn’t anyone talking about it, I am grateful I don’t have cancer and I’ve had melanomas 3×3rd stage. I received the medication in 2017-18. Was diagnosed with secondary in April 2019 I lost half my body weight my hair was falling out from mount nutrition. I had microcytic anemia and I have been in the hospital repeatedly for less sodium. You have to talk about this.

She says some real dumb sh*t. I’m clinically diagnosed with adrenal insufficiency after ACTH stim test. I had a random cortisol test in 2017 and it was 0.2. No steroid use. Stim test was borderline then. Returned in 2021 and stim test confirmed AI. I’m STILL fat and I have chronic pain. The low cortisol cause me to feel the pain of a comorbid disorder.

I really thought this Doctor did a great job on this lecture and I learned a lot. She is a Doctor and she is a lot nicer and easier to understand than most Doctor's I have met and talked to. I liked this video so much I watched it twice and took notes. Very informative and like I said her attitude is better than most of the Doctor's you will meet and talk to for 25 minutes. Haven't seen many that would educate you for that long.

Hi, could you tell me how much time between your pituitary adenoma treatment and your secondary adrenal insufficiency diagnosis is and if your initial symptoms presentation happened as in an acute adrenal crisis (emergency) or was it a slow developing over many months or years till you got finally diagnosed? Also were your symptoms bad or worse everyday or were there good days and bad days?
Because I am being evaluated for secondary adrenal insufficiency and I think there is high possibility of me having it but my doc (2nd consult now) thinks that secondary adrenal insufficiency patients don't have fluctuations in symptoms severity but that they feel bad al the time and also she mentions that trial of hydrocortisone even for 3 days will give significant symptom relief (no mention of how much dose of hydrocortisone). I am not so on board with this. Any knowledge and experiences from experienced patient/s will help a lot. Thanks

Why don’t the adrenals respond to the ACTH stimulation test in the case of secondary or tertiary adrenal insufficiency? I have heard it’s because the adrenals atrophy from being chronically under stimulated, but if - as this MD stated - these patients are just crawling along, would the slight albeit irregular endogenous CRH/ ACTH activity possibly prevent atrophy of the adrenals, permitting them to retain function thereby obfuscating a real diagnosis of SAI &/or TAI in an ACTH stim test? What about a massive over response to ACTH might that suggest anything?

Ok, I have been feeling terrible for 8 weeks. Showing every sign of adrenal insufficiency. Went in with a fasting baseline cortisol or 18. Acth given and went up to 23 at the 30 min mar and to 26 at the 60 min mark. My results interpreted characteristic of adrenal insufficiency. According to you're lecture they have the wrong diagnosis. I've also been diagnosed with hypothyroidism and alopecia totalis. I am taking clobetasol foam for my alopecia and on nuva ring which I've read can cause cortisol reading to be elevated. Can you help me with this? I've not seen an endocrinologist yet and awaiting what the 24 hour urine test results are. Meanwhile I'm extremely I'll and getting to the point where its becoming difficult to do anything without extreme fatigue and nausea.

EVERY living human on the planet has some level of acidosis. .Believe that. ... The great lymphatic system is the gigantic sewer system of the human body.
The problem is never in the blood, that's clean and happy...
The human body is extremely SIMPLE. .
Only 2 sides to chemistry. Acid and alkaline, base PH. Acids destroy, burn and corode yet we live on acidic food? Acids damage every single Cell and we have a hundred trillion at last count. .. Here is the burn, every single organ in the body including the skin is just made up of a bunch of cells and 2 fluids, blood and lymph..It's that simple. ..
Indeed it is the food companies and big pharma that have confused and deceived us.. By the way, thease 2 world banks work together, to poison us for money and the to cure us with drugs, for money...CRIMINAL. .. They have found not one cure for any so called dis-ease. They only suppress..
The body is made up of 2 major fluids, the blood and lymph. .
The blood feeds, that's your kitchen, the lymphatic system cleans, that's your bathroom. .
What happens when your sewer system backs up in your house? Not good huh...
Blood makes up only 25% of the 2 fluids, 75% is lymphatic fluid. ..Fact. Stop looking in the kitchen and look to all health issues in the bathroom.
Raw living foods and herbs are alkaline and Dr Robert Morse, dr Sebi along with many other New that detoxing out all the acids and stored pharmaceutical residues would indeed reverse damage, heal, strengthen and repair... STOP COOKING YOUR FOOD AND KILING IT'S ENERGY.....
Conclusion, no more pain, inflammation, destroying of the cells, none functioning glands and organs, I could go on and on..
The kidneys are the main elimination organ and are SO important the health of the whole body...Something the white coats want to ignore...
If you are not filtering your acids out via your kidneys then you will never be well....
      If acids win, you Lose..

@T Tan Take the adrenal glandular alongside, they are gland specific and nutritive..There will be no interaction...
Monitor how you feel and reduce your steroid accordingly... Never just stop taking pharmaceuticals, no need, you will organically have less and then no requirement for it.......🙏
Aldo a must, do some research but incorporate pure liqurish root extract, especially if you have low blood pressure....
Lastly, use hemp seed hearts sprinkled on all your meals, it balances cortisol levels....
Again, don't take my word for it....
Sadly when you substitute a gland with a steroid, eventually you lose that gland, it sits back and does nothing, why would it...
The white coats know this, even veterinary care will only allow short term use in animals..
      Blessings....🙂

I've been on a very small dose (5mG) even tried to lower myself to 2.5mg but unsuccessful! Now the most alarming is the weight lost and there is often lourd digestive noises as if my bowels are hyperactive . I'm convinced that as I'm trying to desperately come off I'm having adrenal insufficiency. Any suggestions to work along side à small dose like 5mg daily to avoid going back up !
