This amazing video only shows what an absolutely perfect and beautiful little piece of art this game is...games like this are the reason that I've been playing for 35 years now ❤️
An amazing presentation of a beautiful game, well done! I love how the music started to get more pronounced and kind of electronic when the midtown scenes started, very nice touch ✨✨
I came over to this channel thanks to OSW Review using Tiny GOW footage in their retrospective which i just watched. You clearly have a wonderful eye for shot composition so well done on this great vid. Your music transitions were seemless too, gonna love watching the back catalogue and what you do next. You have a new customer 🤘
Love your Stray Runner scenes work, purrfectly made by heart. In the beginning I knew this Stray game will be unique art by first mysterious trailer. I thought it will be shown in this video. This unforgettable gold game reminds me games with mysterious atmosphere like Thief: Deadly Shadows, The Sinking city (Did you know, that H. P. Lovecraft's black cat was in Stray?) and unofficial game Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2.
I don't like it when 'linear' is used in a negative sense. Many of my favourite games, e.g. Portal, are linear. If anything, there's too much of a tendency towards open world games now.
@@Walpurgis117 You're not wrong there. But in this case I think the game shows you a lot of cool things, but there is no consistency troughout the game. You can jump on this, but 10 centimeters further you can not. This is why I said "too linear". But, that is just one of the problems. There's more things that make no sense to me. To each their own. I just think it was an underdeveloped game with amazing art and scenery, but with boring gameplay. Strip away the fact that you're a cat and then look at the game. I love cats too, but not enough to take away from the actual underlaying game.
"shallow"? Not sure if we played the same game. NPCs are more human than 95% of al the other games out there. Story is deep, it has a lot of mysteries, not everything is handed down to you and it doesn't treat you like a toddler. Still it is not Dark Souls and an easy gateway for newcomers. So many games are just empty open world shells so this game is a really nice change of pace. I guess "What is left of Edith Finch" is just boring walking simulator to you, too. Real platforming died in the 90s. But sometimes you get somewhat okayish plattformers in the indie genre like "bound".
@@BlackCroft666 We were playing the same game. You are just more easily pleased then others. It's fine. I'm not saying you're not allowed to like this game, I just disagree with everything you just said 😅
More games should be like this.
Interesting, short and with good game mechanics. Also the art style/design is on high level.
for real

Gorgeous
puuuuuuuuuuuuurfect!
Nice!
It definitely looks awesome. Just a shame there is only a shallow, too linear game in there. It could have been so much more.
I was perfectly happy with what it was
