This layout is great! I’m a two-page scrapper, so I always enjoy seeing how to work with the one-page sketch! That scrappy weekend was so much fun! 😀
It was a lot of fun, I’m sad I can’t make the February retreat. Flipping this sketch for the second page made it easy to balance.
Lagoon is one of my favorite colors. Using the Distressed Lagoon looks so nice for the mounting of the photos. The Lagoon leaves bring out the pretty colors of the flowers. I like your idea of coloring the flowers with Lagoon--and a light touch.

I really like the little squares you cut out & added like confetti falling across the two pages & I think for me this is what makes the page plus the leaves behind those flowers. Lovely interpretation of the sketch.
Thank you Louise, I do like the squares too. At first I wasn’t to sure about them but glad I carried them through.

Thx so much for making the 2nd page… always a conundrum for me…and I made this right away… but didn’t have a full second page of diagonal stripes.. so I cut 4 pieces of 1/2 by 12 and glued around the perimeter…looks just fine!!
What a beautiful layout! YOu always do such a great job with the papers and colors you choose and explaing why you choose to use or not use a certain embellishment. I always learn from your layouts. So inspiring!
Hello, Dave! I love how you used the 3 x 4 patterned paper instead of an extra picture on the left page!
I see other TH-camrs with cats who sit just above the layout, Dave wants to be directly on the paper 😂 This is a fun sketch, I ended up liking even more after creating it.

I am dying to get to scrapbook retreats again. Been over 3 years now! Gotta pay off my credit first. If you know of a source for retreats all over the country, let me know (or if any commenter lives in Florida and attends any).

Thank you for your kind words! When you say title page options, do you mean the phrase itself or ways to add titles? Like the same word but different options for adding that word to the layout or title ideas in general?
Sorry Erin! I just found your reply. I’ve been looking through Pinterest and Cricut. I’ve found a lot of title options. I appreciate your response 😊 sometimes I don’t add a title. I don’t think that’s acceptable 😂
Can you please tell me how to print a 3x3 photo on my pm 400 printer? I have watched all the videos but no on say exactly how to make it that size. Also did you print your with the border?
