Yes this little full auto BB rifle is so FUN! I used epoxy and glued a small Rare Earth Magnet to the stock and a equal diameter steel washer to the rifle's body. Just enough resistance to keep the stock against the side when folded, but not so strong it impedes its release. Like you that was my only niggle about the rifle.

The AK1 Has more Kick than the DPMS and SBR hands down great Gun feels bad ass and has the Full Beans for back yard Fun ...I personally stay clear from Pellgunoil ...Silicone Lube does the Business ... had a pistol ruined by Pellgunoil ....copper coated BB's are recipe for creating internal damage to your Gun .... Steel does the Job Great Video ..........

AK1 Full Auto is Supreme…I love 💕 it and have way too much much fun with it. I would like DPMS SBR and R1 in my collection,,maybe one day but I am happy with AK…And definitely 👍

What scope are you using?
Mine has a legitimate hair trigger , it actually startled me .
The AR version is the best IMO it’s decently accurate and highly customizable minus the shoulder stock nice review!
If that AK BB gun had a paintball gun sized CO2 in the stock that thing would be epic and shot 1000 bbs per co2..Man I would probably need one..
This is the only one that stands out of the full auto bb rifles, but the rest are the same the DPMS, R1, the new pistols, all the same system, you can use the stock from the R1 on the DPMS and all the magazines are the same
I have been waiting for my package from Crosman, they promised me a trial product but its been forgotten and they fired the guy that promised me that Nick A.
I have a feeling I’d enjoy ridding a barn of rats with that thing. Great call on choosing this one to review. I hope they come out with a wooden stock version. That would totally ROCK!!!

You can remove the tube and put a solid stock on or you can put a folding ak stock on it

Wow! Very accurate for a bb fun for sure.I have several airguns and a few are pellet on pellet accurate. My new crosman dpms sbr is the one i shoot the most. Just plain fun to shoot.

Great review! Let's see some other BB brands shot through it to see if the velocity or accuracy changes. It would be nice if we could keep this one around for a long term durability test.
I actually did shoot some Daisy Zink and the Umarex zink. Same exact results. It's quite the BB shooter.😉👍

You can shoot around corners with that retractable stock. Foldable stock and you can shoot without blowing cover around walls.
Great review! A 1400 rpm rifle needs a larger magazine. My MP40 has a 50 round and it even feels low!

Love starting the weekend off with a new AGD video! And OMG, this thing looks like a blast! Is it too late for Christmas in July, because I think I will gift myself one of these! Amazing accuracy out of a smooth bore. And that gets me wondering something. If a bb gun could impart spin on a BB, like a little backspin, wouldn't that help accuracy since the spin would be predictable and consistent? I know airsoft guns do this, but I think that is more to flatten the trajectory? Anyway, another great review. Happy Friday!
Hi Stan, yes this is a good one and I was even surprised with the accuracy. It did just as good with the Zink BB's off camera. I actually prefer zink over the copper, less messy and they don't rust as fast when and if they land in the pool. 😉👍
What could be better than a Crosman replica? Russian manufacturer IZH - Baikal actually make the AK in .177 BB as a training rifle. They are practically impossible to obtain outside Europe, and very expensive when found. Sure would be interesting to do a side-by side comparison.
It would be nice to find one of those!
@@AirgunDetectives Well, AK ownership is an itch that's likely to be scratched for far less cost by the Crosman. All the Russian air guns I have seen are very costly. You'd want to find one that had been tuned up by an expert. While the standards of Russian manufacture haven't always been stellar, those guys can tune anything.

Great CO2 powered air gun to plink with. Wouldn't it be nice to have one of these with a rifled barrel and use .177 pellets?
I just found this Review it's Awsome but when are you going to do the Sig Canebrake from what I heard other than the Viturs
it's the Most Powerful 177. of the MCX . but i'm on the Fence so i'm waiting on your Review on it.
The Canebrake is the same rifle as the MCX with just some cosmetic differences. Happy Shooting 👍🏻😉

Absolutely the best video I've seen of this rifle.
I kinda did guess that only negative here. But I'd also maybe mention the insertion of the magazine. You do kinda have to turn it into place and not just push it directly in on a real AK.
But this review tells very well how good these can be. I initially were not that interested in it when it came out (because it basically being like all the other 1400rpm Crosman full-auto rifles out there by now) - but since using an AK based rifle in the military myself, I really oughta get one of these also.
It performed way good in every aspect. Clearly a job well done once again. Not sure - but is the blowback shorter on this one in comparison to the AR type rifles by Crosman? A tighter and shorter blowback could be a reason for well performed accuracy in full-auto. Or the lock-open position at least has seemed to be positioned quite front on these.. Not sure. Just guessing. Oughta get one for closer inspection.. But this one do call on me now...

Is more of an ARK. They should offer a wood stock true AK version. Still a pretty accurate powerful select fire. Close to my favorite the Mp40. Crosman may soon be the only game in town , Umarex availability appears to be vanishingp

How are u mate, I love my DPMS SBR with all the accessories fitted and was looking at the AK1 but doesn't seem much point for me spending all that money on virtually the same gun. I actually prefer the Cybergun AK47 with real wood stock and metal ( some of which is actually the same used on the real steel 1) good review tho JC as always, take care bro.

Hey, I bought the gammo whisper fusion mach 1 because of your videos ! Now I am wanting to get a full auto for fun. Out of the full auto's which one do you recommend the most ? really leaning towards this but was wondering if I was missing some others since I am new to the air gun world ?
Hi Joe, there are so many good ones out there. It is really just your preference. I did like the AK quite a bit. There are also full-auto pistols. They are a lot of fun. Stock up on Co2's and BB's.👍😉

I did the DPMS and the Bushmaster. They are the identical rifle as far as performance and the operating system. The R1 is a mixture of both with the rails and the stock. 👍
What brand of red dot did you use on this rifle?
the fps would be higher if it was like 80 degrees and if you use steel bb the fps would be higher

Can you explain the difference between the $250 CR-CAK1 version as seen on pyramid air and the $115 X-CAK1 version on sale from Crosman ?

The one from crosman that you saw was an alternate special. Which means it’s remanufactured and includes a 12 month warranty. And the prices are different because the websites are in different currencies. The special is USD and the one for $250 is CAD
I have the gun and noticed that the accuracy is very dependent on various co2. Could you tell please which one did you use with AK1 and in general?
I used the standard Crosman 12 gr. Brand of Co2 should make no difference in the performance. It comes down to your choice of BB's and if you received a good shooter out of the box. Also, Co2's put out roughly 800 psi, the weather can directly have an effect on the pressure so that could be another factor. Happy Shooting and I appreciate you tuning in👍
