The best presenter of MicroStation with a loud voice, the right pace and loving the subject. Precise, to the point, and flowing without annoying pauses. Cudos.
Hi loving your videos. Would you be able to help me? I’d like to get into cad after being in construction for 20 years. Would you be able to advise on what is the best package to purchase and if you could advise costs. I would like to get into Mep services .
Hi John, Glad you are liking the video! I also made the transition from working in Construction to using Computers (CADD). I obviously favor MicroStation over any other software, but with that said, I would always suggest looking into the industry you are interested in and see what the most commonly used software is. If you look at your local (or online) educational organizations (Universities, Trade schools, Community colleges) you will get an idea of what the industry you are interested is using by the software they are teaching. Costs can range from a few hundred dollars to $6K. If you are looking into attending structured training (colleges), I would look into Student Versions of the software they use. I'm just finishing up a 20 video series on the Basics of MicroStation CONNECT. It is for Caltrans, but 90% of the information is generic. Cheers! th-cam.com/play/PL0Oa1-kut6TuJN_M83MGHqq0Bu6H9XesM.html

Hello Bentley Educ, would you know why the "place named boundary" and "clip volume" is disabled in my microstation? appreciate your quick reply!
I'm using Microstation V8i SS10 and I couldn't find the Place Named Boundary command.
If I have ONE dgn file with multiple bodies in the same file, how can I generate 2D drawing of each body in a separate sheet?
How can I export from 2d sheet plan to 2d dwg file ?
