Could you not use a heat gun to melt it again then wipe off excess with an alcohol wipe.
I would consider using those removable double-sided tape thingies they sell for hanging pictures on your wall without damaging the paint. They work a treatise and you can get some big strong ones.
More expensive, but not worth risking damaging somebody’s paint.

Hot Melt Power Adhesive #248. I don't do lights, but as a GC I have to secure a lot of different things temporarily to structures. Most the the tract homes here are built to dog shit standards, so you can still pull some paint, but its the most effective, least damaging I have found. Never on stucco though, stucco here is even worse than the paint.

The way this man runs his business definitely makes him money, but at the same time, also feels scummy as heck with how much he's charging people by leasing the lights.

He’s selling his service at a price people are willing to pay and he’s publicly explaining his business model on TH-cam!! How much less scummy can you be?
Leasing is a service too. homeowners are willing to pay to lease equipment because then they don’t have to worry about making warranty claims or replacing defective lights or wires.

@@samgray4 or worry about storing them for the year and digging them out next season! I saw another company that leases or sells the lights to the customer, customers choice. If they choose to buy them, the company charges to store them for the customer.

I've hung lights from OC -> ATL
Standard price for installs is $1200 for most homes in a mid price area. Leasing is the ONLY way to maintain profits and not have to pay hourly for lack of preparation.
Multi year lease agreements are huge tho. I've definitely been shorted on money from the company giving discounts on Year 2.

I have never seen this seems like a booming industry to get into with not much overhead depending on how you wanna do things but this looks like something you and a buddy can get 2 ladders with basic tools and power tools some knowledge of construction and electric and make a killing
