Thank you. It was an informative video. Oil does not thicken at operating temperature. The 5w40 oil means that at 0 degrees Celsius has a certain viscosity indicated by 5 and at 100 degrees Celsius a certain viscocity 40 which are not comparable. Amsoil is a top oil manufacturer and their 5w40 is better than other companies oils. I am not going to elucidate how oils' characteristics are measured. What happened to your engine was that at operating temperature the piston rings expanded, also your piston and you have a better seal with the cylinder walls. Result: minimized or NO blow by. Your engine is in tip top state. Congratulations!

Usok is normal lang sir basta hindi excessive. It doesn't have PCV sir, but breather po. Kung ok pa manakbo, regular maintenance lang sir para mamaintain reliability niya. Dont forget to subscribe

Hello sir. You are right, if you are using a single grade oil (SAE). I use multi-grade oil 5W40 (at the time of this video). This means the viscosity increases to "40" upon reaching operating temperature. Thanks. Dont forget to subscribe

Sir Noah question, yung sakin is MONTERO GLS 2016 and it has excessive blowby, may usok din pero pag inapakan ang accelerator nawawala yung usok. What do you think is the problem sir? 150k na mileage and nakapag palinis last 130k ng EGR and Intake manifold.. Pero never pa napalinis ang TURBO and INTERCOOLER ko.. Thanks..

Before thinking on overhauling have in mind that blowby can also be caused by a worn Head gasket which may leak compression through oil gallery generating pressure on the crankcase spitting oil on the dipstick
My car (2016 kia optima 99k miles) loses oil but I don’t see it leaking anywhere just see oil on the engine cover like it came from the dipstick. Checked the compression they said it was perfect. I don’t overfill the oil and it’s fine for a while then in starts losing oil again. Any ideas?
Compression tester it is use for engine power NOT BLOW BY HAVE AN EXCESSIVE PRESSURE CONTAMINATED OF OIL ON THE PRESSURE PASSING TO THE BREATHER OR PCV,

Sir Noah question, yung sakin is MONTERO GLS 2016 and it has excessive blowby, may usok din pero pag inapakan ang accelerator nawawala yung usok. What do you think is the problem sir? 150k na mileage and nakapag palinis last 130k ng EGR and Intake manifold.. Pero never pa napalinis ang TURBO and INTERCOOLER ko.. Thanks..
Kung excessive blowby na sir, palitin na o ring mo sir. Once mapalitan, palinis mo na rin buong intake at exhaust system. Better kung mapa decarbonize mo sir.

Sir does an installation of oil catch can will help to lessen the accumulation of blowby oil?
No sir. Blowby occurs before the air and gas mixture goes out of the breather hose.

@@NoahsGarage agreed but that oil in breather hose can be caught before it goes back into the intake (to add to the problem)
Before thinking on overhauling have in mind that blowby can also be caused by a worn Head gasket which may leak compression through oil gallery generating pressure on the crankcase spitting oil on the dipstick

My car (2016 kia optima 99k miles) loses oil but I don’t see it leaking anywhere just see oil on the engine cover like it came from the dipstick. Checked the compression they said it was perfect. I don’t overfill the oil and it’s fine for a while then in starts losing oil again. Any ideas?
Compression tester it is use for engine power NOT BLOW BY HAVE AN EXCESSIVE PRESSURE CONTAMINATED OF OIL ON THE PRESSURE PASSING TO THE BREATHER OR PCV,
