Notice how Nam-sensei steps in, and how It causes a reaction from Ariga-sensei.
His chuushin(center), koshi(butt lol) helps his step in. With the step in, Nam-sensei is inducing seme (pressure) in Ariga-sensei's mind making him react unfavorably. This allows Nam-sensei to do alot of oji-waza and debana-waza.
Amazing how like stepping forward, something you do everyday can help your kendo.
So when you play kendo, try it yourself and see how your opponent reacts.
