If you think about it in most Zelda games the big bad (usually Ganon) just sits around waiting for Link to show up & confront him. Link could procrastinate for months or YEARS and nothing would change in the world. Majora Mask's Skull Kid is the only one with any agency. He commands the moon to crash into Termina and if you sit around doing nothing for 3 days EVERYONE DIES.
I don't believe that Ganon sat around for no apparent reason. There was always a motive Ganon had to begin with. As for Majora's Mask, that was probably the most traumatizing thing ever.
Debatable. It's good but I don't think it is on the level of SF or Tekken. Hopefully we get a sequel though! 2XKO will be fun to see how that does as well.
@@jonteguy I don't know.. I definitely enjoyed Killer Instinct more than Tekken. Street Fighter had some great titles over the years though. If we're just comparing original Street Fighter vs. Killer Instinct then I'd go with Killer Instinct 100%, but if we're going off what was out at the time of release of the latest game, Killer Instinct, then I'd probably still side with Killer Instinct. Street Fighter 2 was a great game that was a lot of fun but I really loved the combo system in Killer Instinct!
King of Fighters, Samurai Shodown, and Garou Mark of the Wolves exist, KI was just fluff people played till MK 3 came out, and disappointed fighting game fans.
There are two different games titled "Super Punch Out". There is the well-known SNES game from 1994, but Super Punch Out is also the title of a 1984 arcade game, which beats out Battletoads (1991).
I grew up playing “Mickey Mousecapade” and the closest thing to Maleficent that I remember is a witch boss fight at the end of the Fun House stage, but I don’t know if that’s supposed to be her or not? I can testify that Donald Duck is nowhere to be found in that video game, though.
Technically, the first thing you have to do in TLOZ is "enter the cave" or "go to the next screen" as it was multiple choice start. Old man would be after, then sword.

The problem for the first question was that here in the US all those games came out the same year. We would not have been privy to the release dates in Japan.

Hell you can even skip the first sword cave altogether, collect all the Triforce pieces, and get all the way to Ganon himself without having any sword at all. Pretty bad curating!

I've never understood why it's always primarily consoles when people are talking about retro games (and almost always the same few games/franchises), there are so many amazing retro PC games, is this an American thing?
@mikkelx To answer your question. PC games rarely if ever get brought up because most of these reactors are casual gamers or have only played a select few games. I doubt most of them would know Maniac Mansion, SoMI, Myst, the original Warcraft, System Shock, Age of Empires, etc because most of these are too niche for this audience. I do agree though. More variety would be welcome. Hope this helps.
