Agreed. I didn't watch the game, but I read they had a blown time out call and a blown foul call in the Orlando game that possibly cost the Magic the game. To top it off, the Magic's coach was fined $25,000 for calling them out on it.

The sad thing is, this wasn't even the first time this happened. Like a month ago when the jazz were going up against the pelican's, rudy Gobert fouled Brandon Ingram and no call which cost them the game. I swear man jazz got the refs on payroll
this ingram/gobert issue was nothing compared to this. ingram was actually ROLLING THE BALL off his body in a weird way just to try and draw contact with gobert. and he did draw contact but at what point is it no longer an attempted shot and just and attempt to draw contract and hope the refs think it is a shot. had gobert not even touched him, there was no chance the ball would even hit the rim. in this instance, I think the ball would have went in had it not been goaltended.
Melo shot 2 - 10 and 0 - 2 from the 3 line. I'm thinking only reason the media aren't blaming Melo for this loss is because this 2 seconds of play is a better story than Melo losing the game for them

When in doubt, blow your whistle and then review the play. If after reviewing, you see that no call was warranted, then say it was an inadvertent whistle. It’s not that hard ref!

I thought the officiating was bad on both ends. the missed call on simons getting undercut was inexcusable. should be an automatic ejection and suspension of you undercut a player while they are in the air (regardless of whether it was accidental or not). but some of the calls lillard wanted on ingles weren't fouls. TWO that I can count. the last 3 pointer lillard made he went sideways and tried to kick ingles to draw contact. but that's OK. superstars usually get these kind of calls. the refs just need to be consistent throughout the season.

This is the SECOND time this season, with the Jazz, where the refs affected the outcome of the game bc of a non call, (game against the pelicans earlier in the season). I'm usually the first to say that the refs rarely decide the call that decides the game, like when the Rockets had a "formal protest" of the Harden dunk that didn't count when they lost by two and were up by 25 then. This is the SECOND time this season, with the Jazz, where the refs affected the outcome of the game bc of a non call, (game against the pelicans earlier in the season). If it happens again, a 3rd time, the NBA has to look into it and the refs involved. This has been an absolutely horrible season with the officiating (with every team, not just one specific team). One of, if not, the worst season w/ officiating in recent memory.
It’s the 2nd time for Portland. Last time when Gobert hits the elbow of Melo while taking 3 (no foul), now this goal tending on Lillard (no call).
I dont understand how that cant be reviewed but they review feet on the 3pt line, tips out of bounds, etc. ? Thats a dam shame

Should have been an and 1 for the lead. Not only did they not call the foul they didn't call the obvious goaltend. If they would called it they at least give themselves a chance to review it to make sure.

I'm usually the first to say that the refs rarely decide the call that decides the game, like when the Rockets had a "formal protest" of the Harden dunk that didn't count when they lost by two and were up by 25 then. But this is disgusting, even looking at the Jazz with Mitchell and Connely celebrating left a bad taste in my mouth (not that it's in any way their fault for the missed call). Utterly shameful that THIS is what the NBA refs are unable to get right.
As a utah jazz fun, this is not the first time the last minute call favored Utah this season. I remembered a game against pelicans where a foul on Ingram was not called
