  • Vlog ep. 37 - "Montana has a way of staying with your soul..." Our time in Bozeman, MT has come to an end, I didn't get to share enough of the journey and magic that is Montana, but this vlog showcases a bit of it.
Downtown Bozeman Montana is a scene we don't get enough of in this country. There's some fantastic coffee shops in Downtown Bozeman, of which I happened to spend a lot of time in this summer. Montans itself, is a lifestyle. It's not so much a place, as it is a life. I can't wait to go back.

I have been to Bozeman before because of it's proximity to Yellowstone, LOVED it there. Hoping to go back sometime in the next few months just to visit. Much love to Bozeman and Montana from Ontario Canada!

This is funny. It snows in October. My dad, mom, grandparents and great-grandparents are all from Montana. We built snowmen there on July 4 before on the pass outside of Butte. And of course Montana is built around the lifestyle. In Bozeman it is biking and all, but in the rest of the state there is lots of ranching, which life is built around. You should try riding a fenceline, or head out trout fishing without a guide and run into a moose - now THAT is Montana...lol. Right now, Montana is a place lots of people think they want to go to live until they experience winter, which can be 9 months long - so I hear they are opting for Idaho.

I am from Sweden. A funny memory is when I was looking for the gate to bozeman at the airport in chicago. The people who were going there had a completely different, more relaxed style than in the other gates. So I knew that there I will thrive. Montana has the best flyfishing spot in the World, by the way 👍

Mr. Yarborough, nice video, great music, funky, good bass, nice story, nice video. I live in door County Wisconsin, which is the peninsula so if you take your right hand and you put it up facing you and you look at your thumb, that’s a peninsula I live near the top. Water is all around us all four sides. -20° without the windchill is common with the windshield. It sucks you know what. We don’t normally know for the past 15 years or so get snow until normally February March, April, and May that it just hammers us to about 100 inches. Heavy wet windy it’s incredible. Door County gets hammered with storms from both Green Bay and lake Michigan and gills rock up north death Door. It wraps around and it never stops, they rarely report us in the media because they don’t know their you know. What from the you know what. Moving out to Montana where you live sounds like Hawaii to me. I can’t wait. Keep filling keep sharing your information I want to learn, and I want to teach my children. It’s the only way I can do. It is through you and others that actually take time to make, this true video really Allotey not fake news or media. Screw the media. God bless you, sir Stephen.

It snows in the Midwest, here in Chicago, in October too. Not sure what the big deal is. 5-inches is a lot for that time of year, but still, it's not particularly unusual.

You’ve obviously never been to Bozeman if you’re comparing Chicago snow to it...
At least when I lived there it usually snowed 2 feet starting October and also way out in may.

I lived in Montana from birth, and went to college in Bozeman, spend 4 1/2 years there 1976 - 1981, when it was far more quaint and rustic than it probably is now. I moved to Phoenix, then San Diego and LA because I hate Montana winters. Never missed it. Plenty of adventure in Arizona and California without the snow - but if you want snow you can still find it. Bozeman was fun and pleasant, but only because I was a student. Not much opportunity in career choices, unless you open a private business.

Born in raised in Bozeman. Wonderful town but not the same town I grew up in. Consider my real home Kailua Kona Hawaii that in many ways reminds me of Bozeman in my youth, hopefully return for retirement. Back to Montana 2 years ago but in that Shithole of Missoula, well I work in Zootown but in August I thankfully have moved between Drummond and Bearmouth enjoying tiny house living. Proud to call Bozeman my home town though, still a great place to live.
