Nobody sings this better than Ramey...no matter what bodiloto says. bodiloto is a troll who has gone to virtually every Ramey video and written nasty things about him.
hear to Tancredi Pasero, that's a real Bass singing the aria, and George Pappas from Teatro Municipal de São Paulo,1980. Both simply amazing!
Ramey owns it for sure! The only other for me in this aria is Ferruccio Furlanetto

@ixlioavoeqgni oeqgni Basso coloratura???? Can you name me one other ''basso coloratura'' ? Nice thing to invate new definitions, creativity is always a good thing, but such thing as ''basso coloratura'' has not seen the face of earth till now.
@@chopinopus28 You are both correct and wrong. The bel canto composers and the Baroque composers who preceded them expected all voices to be expert at both "coloratura" [the emotional coloring of the voice vie tone and rempo manipulations such as proper rubato singing] and "fioratura" [the individual decorations added to a line by a specific singer to enhance the emotive impact of the song]. So you are correct that there was not any such category as "coloratura" basso at the time of composition; there also was no category of coloratura soprano nor was there any category for what is now called a mezzosoprano. Nowadays we use the term coloratura generically to stress the decorating of the line to enhance its impact. Thus "coloratura" has become a category in itself and we now do apply it, when such a rare voice emerges like Ramey's, to whatever vocally category it occurs in.
