My favourite from YSL. Got 2 bottles, the original formulation and a 2022 batch just like you. Only that mine is a lot darker (already used like 15% of the juice). The smell and performance are both a lot better with the 1st formula but with 2022 I'm still getting 6-7 hrs of performance with a decent projection. Awesome scent and a compliment magnet ! 🔥
_The_ bar? Which bar? Doesn’t it depend on what’s going on in the immediate environment? I can’t remember any pub smelling good. People smoking and boozing, vomiting, relieving themselves up against walls
I bought the la parfum version of this (the discontinued one) because I just wanted better performance and honestly it’s gotten me more compliments than any other fragrance.
Everything you said is totally on point!!! And the way you described the whole thing and explained it, helped me put all the pieces of the puzzle together, and yeah, is too back this one fine fragrance is a Toilette and not a Parfum… a real bummer. This is the first time I see one of your reviews and you really nailed it! Very honest and helpful review, thanks !
Not every fragrance is meant to be beastly and imo, this hits exactly what it is trying to be. It knows what it wants to be. Like you said, sensual, date night appropriate, close to skin. I’m not sure how long your dates usually last but this should cover that. Women absolutely love this.
Yes but to be fair if a fragrance is a skin scent a woman will get no where close to that on the first date. A little projection helps. I cant justify it when it used to be better
@@ChadSecrets you’re me favourite fragrance reviewer bro, thanks for the reply! To me, a freshie is the absolute best first date fragrance. But since I have a gf, this is one of my favourites. I recently acquired Bleu Electrique and I’ll be going with the one soon. 💪🏽
@DeuceAce24 i can agree with that. You cant go wrong with a freshie and never know if your date has preferences yet. That is true! I appreciate your kind words
I picked up Lattafa Al Nashama Caprice and haven't looked back. Satisfies my LNDL/Blue Electrique itch. Projects like crazy and lasts a long time. I've been long done paying YSL for watered down scents. LNDL is a shadow of what it once was and peaked at the LNDL Frozen release way back in 2012.
I just got mine. LNDL is my goat and BE is right up there with my favorite. Was super excited to get caprice. Its good but I was disappointed by how little is smelled like lndl. Usually lattafa clones are very close. It's not even 60% similar to my nose. Smells like halloween man shot mixed with The One luminous nights. Do you think I got a weird batch or what? Fragrantica has people saying it's spot on. I can't imagine where they're getting the comparison other than a little bit of spice. Caprice is way sweeter and the citrus at the top is totally different, not to mention caprice is wayy more powdery
I agree with this 💯. Honestly, I really love the LNDL fragrance line, and is probably YSL's best line of fragrance. What's really unfortunate is that the performance is horrendous, and the flankers are always discontinued. I'm still looking for bleu electrique, but have heard that eau electrique is really great. @ChadSecrets let me know if you want me to give you the name of a clone of bleu electrique, because I'm curious to get your opinion on it 🤫.
Nowdays i think there is better alternatives, was overhype and also the problem with this one is that is overused you will remeber people to someone else. Thanks for the review.
Yeah this turn into skin scent in a couple hours, and that's the neat part! It will help you with the ladies for a few hours and then after that if she's still not on your arm already that she still can smell it, that's kinda on you! Tick tock, gentleman! Work your way faster or time's up and you're on your own 😂
Haha yeah if its intended that way for the creation of the fragrance then okay. but i dont justify worse performance when its because of reformulations and not the intentions of the perfumer
Hi Chad, would you recommend these for the office, I know they are date night fragrances, but winter is coming up and fall is already here. I been wearing one edp, so i was wondering if you'd recommend this to the office as well only during colder months. Thanks.
I've never heard if this perfume n yesterday a sales associate gave it to smell n immediate love at 1st sniff. M getting it. I love Cardamom so much that I smell in it my kitchen everyday 😅 this n tea. just open the cans for both n sniff it. Even if I don't consume it 😂
what wil be your rating for older batch?i got old formulation 100ml from uncle (around 80ml remaining) , he said i'll need it in my 20s and we will love to see you reviewing bleu electrique
Great video! I’ve been cautious with the ysl homme line simply because I thought longevity was bad, but now I may go and see how good the scents are! I’m not sure if you’ve reviewed any Diptyque fragrances yet, but every fragrance forum I go to people say a couple of their scents are signature scent worthy, and the scents are supposedly unisex, so it seems like a lot of people enjoy it. Just wondering the scent profile if anything!
@@ChadSecrets nice I’ve heard althair is rlly good too, so I’ll get some decants of those for sure Edit: did you make a video on those fragrance yet btw?
L'nuit Del Homme is the only one for my nose. Every other flanker they made smells like I baught a fake bottle and I am still waiting for something better.
@sosukeaizen2723 . Not very similar except they are both Cardamom bomb. Definitely on the same wheelhouse. GCE though has Tea, Fig, and Iris. There are days that I get the DHI vibes, somedays LNdL and at a certain extent the Iris Malikhan. Defitely it is darker, denser, and very woody. Fantastic winter scent for men.
I like Moustache, but I choose LNDL. It is timeless and such a comforting scent. I don't care if the projection isn't strong. It's meant more for an intimate situation.
This is my least favourite of the L’homme line I’m just not a fan of it my favourite has to be the EDP with the cognac note I just really enjoy that one. Kara
In my opinion it is a waste of gold, of course you could use it for date nights, ONS, movie nights or when you are just having a chill evening with your friends going for dinner somewhere at a restaurant you may not stay all night. But then why specifically buy this fragrance for that, that doesn't last much above a couple of hours when you can have much stronger one's that are even better for dates and can be used for other occasions. I mean the girl of your dreams that night will definitely smell you when you pick her up when you two hug, she might still smell you in the car driving to the restaurant or to the beach or what wild adventure you surprise her with and that's when the date doing good enough you cuddle or she's looking for you to be near. She might still gets hints of you but if the heat of the night when you go to your place or hers doesn't spread your smell once more its gone. Now imagine she's also impressed by your smell but that smell is gone😁 She will remember you for many reasons but with a strong fragrance especially in the morning she wakes up smelling that aromat in the air and her bed sheets and pillow, her dress, her lingerie😌
@@ChadSecrets Yes, if it truly was stronger and longer lasting once upon a time it definitely is. Bleu Electrique was a great and long lasting comeback which unfortunatly is nearly history. Maybe they come up with something new down the line. At the end there are some fragrances that play with the intesified Kardamom, the mystery and seduction of a man and smell luxurious/elegant with stunning performance e.g. Le Male Le Parfum, Gisada Ambadassdor,...
Paid around 60-65$ for mine and i still think its a loss. Why? I already got Jack of Clubs from fragrance world which combines the original la nuit de lhomme with blue electrique and has real performance, noticable 7-8h at under 40$.
It just blinds your noses it has really good performance actually. 2022 batch i get above 12 hours longevity on my skin actually i can still smell it after 20 hours and 5-6 hours projection but not as aggressive as ambroxan heavy fragrances. Bleu electrique version is even stronger but i prefer the edt more.
I work as a waiter, and a guy came in with his wife and friends and totally destroyed the café with his scent (in the best way possible) asked him and he said it was this. I think the secret is to spray more on clothes than on skin, especially if you're wearing a shirt, then collar and cuff region is the best.
And a night with you still good ? 😂 I had the chance to smell an old batch, it was not INCREDIBLE. Bla-bla-bla but yes deeper and less watery. Reformulation is 💩
I filmed this review over a year ago and completely forgot it existed. So i hope it still is helpful 😁

I swear YSL La Nuit De L'Homme smells similar to CH Men by Carolina Herrera. I found CH Men to be the more unique scent of the 2.
Now i need to compare them side by side 🤔
