got to watch him the first time some 6 years ago. he appeared out of nowhere on mkx and just started obliterating EVERYONE like they didn't even know how to play the game. of course, it was at the end of mkx's lifecycle, so when a new game arrived he had a lot more challenge. but since then he was always an absolute menace. I found out later that he was originally a tekken tag 2 player. he's very young, too. he's my favourite pro, and I'm happy that he's playing more tekken now that it's been some 2 years already that I dropped mk for tekken
His law is solid but double is miiiiiles better. I give ninja props for playing two major fighting games though. Being elite in one and solid in the other is quite cool. He’s definitely better in tekken than sonic is
I cant wait for Ninjakilla to start hitting the majors. He's about to shut all the haters up that like to talk trash about NRS/MK players not being able to play these other games on a competitive level.
Agreed. He should have already shut them up with this tbh. He's damn good. I doubt he's leaving MK as his main game though especially with the recent dlc.
@@TyraP2 He played multiple games just like most of us did when we first found out about fighting games. The first game he CHOSE to take serious was MK. He made a name for himself in MKX once the NRS scene had moved on to Injustice 2. He was called a "Necro" because that game was considered dead at that point. If he started with Tekken, he'd have been playing Tekken competitively instead of a "dead" MK game.
@@TyraP2 So because he played old Tekkens that means he wasn't also playing MK? I get it, you wanna believe in your soul that MK players can't transition to Tekken and be this good, but we can, whether you like it or not. Also link that video, because I searched it and it doesn't exist. The earliest Tekken I can find Ninjakilla playing is Tekken 7. If you're talking about Tekken Master, then sure he was playing Tekken first for sure.
I knew when ninjakilla started entering t8 tns a lot of the “top players” would get exposed. So satisfying to see him toy with his opponents while putting on a clinic. Really hoping he keeps entering t8 tournaments, he deserves a lot of recognition for his skills.
He’s fundamentally the best MK player ever. Doesn’t always translate to winning every tournament however he does things in every game that only he is able to do and T8 will be no exception. There’s a good chance he become one of the best in the world at T8 in the near future. He lost to Arslan Ash 4-5 in T8 around 5-6 months ago and Ninja looks like he has drastically improved his character knowledge since then so genuinely this likely just the top of the iceberg if he’s going to keep entering tournaments. The 3 round game format works heavily in Ninja’s favor. If you haven’t seen Ninja I recommend his MKX material. He came out of nowhere and absolutely dismantled literally every single God of MKX. Double Flawless humiliating the best MKX players in the world.
