    i am currently immortal 2, and that is my peak, but I am diamond on kovaaks and I am struggling on improving. I agree with your statement and I feel like you can easily improve once you focus on the other things, because right now I have no idea what I am doing wrong with my mechanics. I know for a fact that my micro adjustments are lacking but I havent seen much improvement even after training. Your aim on dms are way cleaner than mine so I think your good raw aim wise.

    Im in a similar situation as you, I have 1000+ hours on valorant and I have only about 100+ in aimlabs but what has helped me improve is shortening my sessions and just playing consistently all the time, for example I only do 30 minute sessions on aimlabs everyday and two comp games thats alone is enough to take you up to immortal possibly rad just keep it consistent and play more when you can

    Something I've learned with these guides and higher rank players is that since I'm in low elo, I should train my fundamentals in raw aim and mouse control, with tracking, clicking and flicking tasks with a little bit of micros. As time goes by, I focus more on micros and less on raw aim

    awesome vid bro keep up the grind! On and off apac rad and i will say once your preaim is fully locked i'd suggest try focusing on movement aswell, it seems simple enough but its something i still struggle with. once you get into 150RR+ immortal everyone can aim and peek and it becomes more about making yourself a harder target.

    I have invested my 1st 100h in the past 8 months roughly and my experience is very varied. It has helped me both be consistent but also be able to pull back rounds
    However its very easy to train ineffectively or even incorporate really bad aimming habbits that genuiely sent me from d1-> low gold. ( snappiness & high tension) mentally i couldnt understand it as i was hitting large flicks way more consistently. Able to do well in DM against Immortals & radiants but moment in game i would mid frag.
    My most recent aim venture has been focus on microing and high accuracy scores , focusing on good fundamentals instead of score farming. And its been very effective in ranking back up. Sat at 912 tracker score across 30+ games (last checked)

    i think a key thing to mention is that daily highscores arent important, but rather weekly/monthly highscores, as people might not being aiming with proper technique, but they get a high score with poor technique and think they have improved.

    As a Diamond 1 with nearly 300 combined hours in Aimtraining, I feel the need to emphasize that the lower you are, the more aimtraining will help, bcs your opponents also will be slower. It still is more important to imprive pre-aim, use a sheriff in Deathmatches.
    Even on a higher level, good mouse conzrol is key to not only being decent but better than others. Not o ly for the situation where an opponent is in a unexpected situation but also for multikills when you kill someone and his mates want to trade. Tho good raw aim, especially clicktiming will also help with holding and peeking angles, it helps you recognize when you're ontarget and can click to get the kill

    Actually a situation where raw aim would be applicable in valorant is where you got a good lurk and you're behind someone and you need to track them even more when you're behind more than one person and you need to target switch in between them but really rare and not super difficult.

  • @Tauchfix
    @Tauchfix 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    One thing I have to add to the ineffective aim section: The first thing you have to do before pushing for highscores is to analyze your technique and become aware of your bad habits. Then you have to train the correct technique for every area and put conscious effort into avoiding your bad habits and training the correct ones. Only after the correct technique is subconscious you can push for scores. If you push for scores with bad technique you will hit roadblocks down the line that will by then have made you waste a lot of time as many of the hours spent training an incorrect technique are useless since you will need to train the correct technique and build up again after having spent a lot of time on the wrong technique.
    Another thing I have to add to the downplaying of raw aim part: I think it is a major misconception in the valorant community to say that crosshair placement is kind of like a substitute for aim, because I think your crosshair placement has everything to do with your aim. RoyalG explains this in his video "Your Idea of Crosshair Placement Is Wrong", and I find his insights to be incredibly accurate.

    what i found from talking to good aimers and coaches is going for high scores isnt always the best approach. when playing static for example, playing with incorrect technique might yield better scored, but hurts your scores in the long run. going back to basics and actually using the proper technique (bard0z method) is better. it will decrease your scores in the short term but yield better scores in the long run.
    same with working on smoothness. going for 20cm/360 doesnt get you better scores, but works towards better raw smoothness and therefore better scores on a "normal" sens
    good video overall tho. Keep it up :)

    Agree with the ineffective aim training, it's very prominent. Mouse control is important and that's what aim trainers emphasise on. Tho, In game you must depend on intuition (experience/knowledge + practice/aim) and not just raw aim like you said at the last portion of your video. I also think playing the game and VOD reviewing and questioning your plays is far more beneficial than aim training. BTW do look up Miyagi aim training method it's goated fr.

    I completely agree with you, but once you’re in that 90-95% in most Voltaic benchmarks you start to get diminishing returns and time spent in game training is better served than continuing to spend 40+ minutes daily pushing scenarios for at best marginal gains.
    Anything more at that point you likely should consider a coach to work out your minor details that need correcting.

  • @singhbhai
    @singhbhai 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    I think this might sound controversial, in my opinion the more diverse games you play the better your aim will be and faster you will adapt, if you notice most valorant pro are hitting radiant from act 1 because they have 10k hours on other games and their mouse control has imprinted on their brain. I belive none of valorant pros have less than 5k total hours combined.

    yea i heavy agree! i did this over the summer and found out that raw aim mechanics are kinda like a stopgap in between your actual abilities. If you lack positioning or awareness, you can make up for it with raw aim, but the fundamentals are still fundamental.

    can you make a video on the most effective routines for each rank like a routine for gold players (aimbeast)

      i don't really plan on making a routine video, everyone is different and should find a routine that works for them (as i mentioned in my first aim video). if you really need help you can ask a more experienced aimer for help !!

    Overall well put together video man, just wanted to ask though, wouldn't it be more appropriate for the regular players u make videos for to instead of looking at a pro game, watch a ranked VOD where situations involving raw aim come up? Tier 1 pro is a much more controlled environment where teams will punish taking raw aim duels due to their coordination which you wouldn't find in ranked. It's also much harder to compare tier 1 pro players raw aim to regular players as the difference of ranked players to other ranked player raw aim would be way more noticeable compared to a pro vs another pro's raw aim who are both within the highest extremes of aim and any pro can outaim another one, maybe a follow up video with more in depth look at the topic would help? All the other analysis seems great though, keep up with the quality over quantity content :)

      @@kbro4483 even in ranked if a pro is using raw aim it's usually because he is exposed to multiple angles and honestly probably an ego thing but yeah i get your point, i find pro play much more interesting and fun to talk about though

    idk but i think i disagree about the video. i started playing valorant competitively at august 2023 - now (november 2024). i used to do aimlabs playlist before i play and the outcomes was it makes me immortal in less than a year which my friends that spent their time playing from the earlier episode is far left behind at silver and gold. so the conclussion is i think consistency is key, either its a deathmatch and range session or just straight jump to valorant competitive but with consistency, you'll ended up where you were dreaming to be. So in the other words, everyone has their journey and there are millions of ways to become better.

    in 1:41, people don't use aimlabs or Kovaaks for train their aim BUT in Counter Strike you have a LOT of Aim Maps since 2014, they do a LOT of deathmatch, playing aimbotz with peek training, straff training for tracking, flick training
    Aimlabs and Kovaaks didn't invente aim training at all, pro player train their aim since 10 years ago lol

    • @koreyVAL
      @koreyVAL  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      ofc kovaaks and aim labs didn't invent aim training, but in the context of this video, aim training refers to using a modern aim trainer.
      this is because
      aim training maps didn't push raw aim as much as aim trainers do
      they also didn't include much of tracking, target switching, etc.
      most importantly, these maps didn't provide direct feedback in the form of scores, which makes it incredibly inefficient (for me at least)
      so while yea they might have practiced their aim it isn't really comparable to what modern day aim trainers can do today and i didnt rly consider it aim training while making this video

      @@koreyVAL go watch some video of CS map and u'll realise tracking/switching/flicking are on CSGO since 10 years ago and Deathmatch just train it like this. For sure it's not too deep like Aimlabs today but pro train aim sinces years before 2018 trust me
      Today, even Minigod or anyelse in Voltaic or rA haven't the ScreaM Aim or NiKo Aim, they're only better on exercice not in game
