He is 39 as of this post (05/28/2023) He married his wife, Joan in 2014 and they have one daughter. He is currently back in the Phillipines. We all need to BEG him to come back and tour in America when he fully recovers from his kidney issue....Can you tell he is my favorite performer??? hahahaha You ought to hear him sing Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen....I cried the first time I heard him!!

Dimash has been classically trained since he was 5 yrs old by professional musical parents. Marcelito lived in the streets since he was 7 yrs old, orphan. Did menial jobs to survive. He trained by listening to radio and karaoke. In an interview, he said he could sing the high register at 7, he discovered the male register at 18. How much more can he do if he had classical singing lessons like Dimash??
I really don't think there was a group of super fans, as they claim to have. Everything depends on the whims of Simon Cowell.....and that is why Marcelito did not win as expected he would. This is my opinion.
