Not a mashup that I would've expected to work, but the core notes of both songs go together really well. I didn't realize that until I heard both progressions at the same time. Also, a pretty good balance of the songs.
It’s wild. A saw someone point it out on tiktok randomly and ran down to the studio to try it. Sure enough, once the songs keys are set to match they work 😂. Since 7 nation army doesn’t have a sung chorus, and sweet dreams doesn’t have a verse I arranged it as if they filled each other’s voids and really dug it.
I really don't understand why there are less than at least 100000 subs. This is just awesome. All your covers are a whole different world. As a fan of most of the songs you covered and a fan of synth/wave/retro style - every time i have such a pleasant experience listening to this. Thank you and keep on doing this!

It's an interesting thought. I think if I were to do it again I would probably have added some vocal lines from Sweet Dreams into the verses in the empty spaces to kind of tease that the mashup was coming. The instrumental mashes a lot earlier than the vocals do, the verse 2 bassline swap to Sweet Dreams for example. Ultimately, I chose to save the full mash so that the final chorus could explode and wanted it to feel like a real full song instead of just shoving the two songs together. I still think that was the right call (for my preferences) but adding some vocal teases could have been a cool idea.
May I recommend Badflower for some songs to cover? I think it'd fit alongside the original vibe of other songs you've covered. Beautiful work by the way. Absolutely loving your stuff.

Needs more mashing. It just hits like SNA with Sweet Dreams politely waiting for its turn. 3:30 and on slaps; before that, it doesn't quite.
