@@matthewmartinez8874 Was about to mention that. @ALEXTHETRUCKINGGUY Get the Sweet and Spicy Bacon Burger next time you're in Texas. It's the only thing I get when I go to Whataburger.
I have been watching your videos from a long time. There's something quite interesting and calming in your videos that glue me to it. Great Work ! Carry on .
The smoke is probably his DEF system cleaning itself out. You won't notice it if you keep moving. It would normally clean itself out when you are driving at a steady pace.
In the warehouse I work at we normally have the trailers dropped off by a switcher, but when we have a trailer that a driver docked and is waiting to get unloaded we call those live loads, those we take anywhere from 10-15 mins to unload just so we can get stuff out of there and the driver on his way out, but also some take about 1-2 hours because the office doesn’t tell us when they arrived or at what door there at so we have no idea when there here.
Alex, you can fit your loadlocks across the back of your cab, pressing on the insides of your aero fairings, just above the fuel tanks and below your air connectors.
I do love California. Beautiful mountains. It makes the drive interesting. Once summer hits I'll ask to go out west more but right now the weather there is dangerous to drive in
Strange scale. 1-7? 😂1-5 or 1-10😂I love Whataburger. I noticed that your burger was not wrapped nicely. It was half unwrapped when you pulled it out of the bag. Glad you tried it out.
Hopefully not only GP charge that pickup for extra steps they had you take going back and forth, but you get compensated for all the wasted time doing all that. Don't they know the weight of their own crap???
You were a Whataburger virgin, Alex. I lived in Texas for 15 years. Too damn hot! But used to love me Whataburger! My daughter still works at one there. I don't understand why they don't expand into the Midwest and the East.
A year and a half later, you'd think he would've known that by now. He's still so green. Of course he'll get paid hub miles and not actual, and get screwed for the scaling waste of time because of a stinkin' shipper. I doubt GP TRANSCO would compensate him.
OH gawd you are in Houston. Bless you heart they don't understand that we need to go. They will take on average 2 to 5 hours to unload your truck, and if you have a pick up there.. forget it. Call you dispatch to reschedule your delivery
What’s up man your videos are dope, it’s almost like I’m living your life in my reincarnation as a truck driver under your camera which is your eyes pretty much lol
Was hired to help a driver load his truck with outdated server equipment. There was the driver and then 5 of us helpers. It took us 2 whole days to get him loaded.
Be careful handing someone money in public because, in some cases they will snatch and run or case you and Rob you later. With that being said welcome to Texas. Try your burger with grilled onions and Jalapeños Amigo. 🎉
Unfortunately it's against a lot of trucking Corporation policies to carry a firearm inside of a semi truck my brother and I are very pro2a and he absolutely despised the idea of going over the road without a firearm but both companies he worked for told him that if he was caught with a firearm on board the rig by inspectors or State Police he would be fired instantly and could also possibly lose his CDL. And it would go on his permanent driving record. That however did not stop my brother from carrying he just made sure that when he was driving the pistol was on him and not in the truck because if he had committed no crime they had no legal right to search him only the inside of his truck during a DOT Inspection. 😅 he said there were few times they were doing inspections and they brought out a dog to search the truck and trailer and he was sweating profusely hoping the dog was not trained to search for firearms. Lol
Whataburger is King in Texas. Next time ask for the buns toasted on both sides and meat well done. If you're really hungry try the Triple meat with cheese.
Love Houston, and well aware many Texans rave about Whataburger. But Whataburger does nothing for me. If you ever have the time, Pappadeaux is great, but that's two orders of magnitude above fast food $ wise.
Never had Whataburger? I envy you right now trying it for the first time. Mine was so long ago (early 70s) i cant remember it but i DO remember the first Whataburger i went to by my house.
that's funny: first you say you like Texas because of the empty roads (mostly) and minutes later you have had the most hectic ride you had (even though you DID drive Eastern Seaboard as well as Chicago-area 🤔)
I was born and raised in Houston I actually parked in that same spot one time and took a 10-hour break because I wanted Whataburger. You'll be fine nobody's going to mess with you but you do have some homeless panhandling in that area. Asking for money.
As far as I know it is illegal to drive with a load without a bill of lading. Requiring you to check your weight before giving you your paperwork is not legal to my knowledge. If I'm correct the D.O.T. could have a field day hanging around this shipper. Someone please correct me if there is an exception to this.
I have seen load locks locked horizontally across the back of the cab as I have traveled over the last few years. You should be able to see an example while driving or at a truck stop.

imagine one day , you're travelling and then taking a break at some place , and then hearing out of nowhere someone saying "GET OFF MY TRUCK"
yeah and that guy would be like " wtf this dude is talking to invisible man" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Lol that's how you know he's been in the truck too long
I love his accent lol
Backing tip, you can slide your trailer axels to the back making it easier to back into tight spots without the 10 ft overhang
I have been watching your videos from a long time. There's something quite interesting and calming in your videos that glue me to it. Great Work ! Carry on .
We can officially say that Alex is loosing it 😂😂
Lol yup
Yup…
WhataAlex!
It's losing, sheesh not that hard to spell losing....
Hope this is not the start of within 3 years skinny Alex will not be going for The 350+ pd. Average Cross Country Truck Driver Look!!!
😂😂😂
I really hope you post a video about the night at Whatabuger! And the morning after.
Hi Alex. Put your load lock behind the cab of your truck; same area you hang your broom. Safe travels bro
As a Texan, proud of you for getting whataburger. Next time I recommend the green Chile double or patty melt dipped in the jalapeño ranch
Also, yea those south and east Texas bugs don't play
Be careful with those load locks on uninsulated trailers. They can blow out the side panels and frame.
Good morning Alex!!! I’m wishing you safe travels. I would love to visit Texas someday. Thanks for sharing. ❤ Newark Jersey ❤
You have so much patience. 😏
I was in New Jersey this past weekend delivering a load
Cool ✌🏻
I originate from Newark, NJ.

Alex, just attach the bar as you would when you have a load after you're done
Then, it's secured. No worries
Dear Alex….hahahaha….so you’re officially retiring….that was one of those days! Keep smiling! Love your videos. 😊
Learned a lot from watching this guy plan on trucking soon! 😄
Alex is great, he takes great pride in his work which so missing these days.
Put the load lock behind the bulkhead of the tractor for storage with your broom
So miss Whataburger! 😊
Imagine being on your day and a half and seeing someone sweeping the side of their truck screaming😭😭
THAT'S WHAT CHICKS DO. JUST SAYING

It's a freightliner. They normally come with 8 holders on the back for newer trucks.
yes more of this pls!! i miss your cooking vlogs
Next he be asking for a haul to California to stop in a In & Out Burger.
In & Out Burger are in TX now
He doesn’t even have to leave state for in & out

You got that right. Just the wind right now blow you out of Wyoming into Arizona or Minnesota depending on the wind direction.
When I was stationed in Texas, I used to love going to Whataburger for their shakes. To me, their shakes are THE BEST!!!!!
Love your videos , I'm a Class 1 Tanker driver in the UK .My longest wait was 9 hours it was painfull !
We have those types of places here, too. Alex just hasn't had the "pleasure", yet.
Yeah, we have those places in the US too

This one ended on a cliffhanger. Did Alex get another burger?? 🍔🍟
No. I was full after the first one
Dang if I were one of those bugs I wouldn’t go near Alex’s truck 😂
GET OFF OF MY TRUCK!!! lol
The thing that you took off your trailer inside your Trailer goes on the back of your truck. There should be holders.
I enjoy your videos from South Africa
Is it just me or this guy voice sounds like a cartoon character
For me maybe he sounds like squidward from spongebob squarepants
The Mustang that was blocking your way at the wattaburger, is actually a Chevy Camaro lol.

Alex, you are coocoo for coco puffs but that's why we love you.

I thought the same.

6+ hrs thats cute try 11+ hrs at target in Rialto
I put the load bar in back of the cab where the airlines go. I have a little spot Hi bungee cord them to the back.
Whataburger is avg I'm moving to Texas soon and will have to deal with it. Happy to see In-N-Out is in Texas because it's way better.
Every WhatABurger has a photo of a Little League team. I use to know one of the kids on that team.

If you ever drive thru NM, stop at a LOTABURGER have with it green chili and cheese, t'll be worth it.
Don’t sweat it, I had to wait 7 hours to get unloaded
Put the bar across the trailer at the top at height level to store it
Very nice, you are a natural amigo. Like your attitude

Ever time we got out of town with my grandpa we always stop at whataburger even in Houston
You really shouldn't go back to the truckstop without the bills, just so the shipper doesn't try to say you stole the load,
FYI , it’s called a pick up , a reload . Not a delivery, unless you are unloading then it’s a delivery.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 . Be safe have a good one .
Lmao Alex, you are super funny bro. lol i cant stop laugh. "Get of my truck!!!!!!!!"
Your load bar you can put behind your sleeper on a bracket my dad had 4 of them, and I asked him where he kept them since they were so long showed me
Gotta get the patty melt next time you go to Whataburger. That's where it's at
Thanks for the laughs and you are so funny.
