The editing for this series has been absolutely top notch. It would be so easy for the viewer to become lost or confused when watching a game as complicated as Animal Well, but all of the map overlays and other subtle effects have made it flow so seamlessly. Give the editor a raise! Or at least a high-five.
i love how the game is so good that the moment you feel like its getting kinda annoying to keep playing thats when you get the big new item that does a bunch of stuff

I love watching Tyler play the game because he’s smart and dedicated enough to figure stuff out which scratches that satisfying solved puzzle itch, and I know if I was the one playing I’d get fed up and look stuff up and spoil myself. So as much as I sometimes yell at my screen for him missing something I thought was obvious I’m glad he’s the one in the drivers seat. Love the series can’t wait for more
I got the UV light very early in the game without doing any of that. I randomly teleported to the UV light room by playing random notes on the flute. I had the 3rd row of items visible way before the first 2 rows where even half full.
yeah the last 10 eggs will always be like: check every little corner in the entire map, i recommend looking at a online map for locations (not for puzzle solutions) too save a insane amount of time
Supposedly, the egg's position in the peacock room is a hint to the general vicinity it's located within the map. So eggs towards the bottom row would be towards the bottom of the map.
@@TarubyDear god, you’re telling me this game pulls a witness and hides a vague but useful map disquised in a visually appealing area? I honestly believe you, this game is a literal rabbit hole.
I don't feel like going for all the [REDACTED] is a particularly enjoyable experience if you try to figure it all out on your own. Like some of them 100% have great puzzles associated with them, others are just tedious.
as someone who has finished this game to the extent of its deepest known secrets, I do not think that this is a game that you can feasibly discover all secrets on your own. You still have a ways to go, but at some point I would not be too concerned about getting assistance with various puzzles. There are puzzles almost at the level of an arg that were a community effort mostly to solve (one actually requires over 50 unique players to solve normally).
> explore the map > collect tools and items > defeat the four challenges > collect the four flames > bring them to the central shrine > unlock the final area > Aquire an item of great power > defeat the evil monster, with all your skills and tools learned so far and with that, you've finally just about begun!
You know at first I felt pretty excited for things like the B. B. Wand and Remote because it felt like the game recognized that secret hunting is tedious and was trying to remedy that, but now I realize that they really do the opposite of what you want. Ie. The remote doesn't tell you where a chest is until you're in the same room, which erases the fun part of figuring out where a chest could be hidden, leaving only the boring part of checking every single room.
FYI there is an indication in rooms which allow remote use. The game does force you to go through all of the rooms using the new tools which can be a bit tedious but it also gives you indications whenever a tool can be used most of the time.
I actually don't think it's that bad, just looking at where room is left on the map led me to most relevant top spots or eggs, except two I had to look up. The map is so densely packed that spots adjacent to large empty spaces were very suspicious to me even when I couldn't find black pixels at the edge, and most of the time a top or other hidden mechanic was very close by.
This is sucha cool series. World of this game is BIG and really interesting including all those weird items and their interactions. Maybe add it in your logo as E? Also waiting for the next part. Maybe final? Maybe? Have a nice day.
Tyler: "this has to be a flute thing" And somehow, he was weirdly right, it was indeed a flute thing... that gets you the wheel. I do wonder if he plans on finding all the bunnies, they are probably too ridiculous, at least some of them are
So at 1:23 you find a Recess but then throughout the video keep saying "dang it, where could that Recess be?" I'm sure it all gets figured out eventually, was just funny 😂
Im glad this series exists because I really like this game but I was kinda sick of it after beating the main boss, since I also didnt really wanna scour each crevice of the map for anything suspicious
You know that mystery room to the left of that other room? *No one* knows how to get there, if it's even possible, despite some people working together to solce basically everything else.
I just wish Tyler tried the "Top" on the yellow little things. They look like bayblade thingys. (I don't have the game and just follow Tylers playthought so I got no idea if it works)
Tyler found the alt hub tp before ever finding out about the regular tp. I was very surprised considering how useful I found the tp to doing the m disc run from the ghost dog.
He mentioned the regular TP a few seconds later though, so I think its discovery was just cut for some reason. If so I hope it was by accident, because figuring out the TP song is a pretty big Heureka moment in your first playthrough and also sets the expectations for other flute puzzles. Would've been good to include.
I would love to watch an uncut vod of this game I understand why you wouldnt want to post that since a lot of ppl dont like long content and ppl are always criticising and backdoor gaming but I'd love to watch you experiencing this game in real time for 10 hours.
