Has anyone else noticed that Terumi's fighting style is a whole lot more brutal then when he was Hazama? Hazama had grace and elegance, it looked as though he was dancing, not fighting. Here...Terumi is fighting as though he has one thought in mind: "Screw grace and elegance, I want to hurt people and I want it to be as painful as possible!"

islamroks11 No, not distortion combos, astral finish combos. The ones where people do a shit ton of damage to the opponent (add a few distortions) then astral finish them without letting the opponent even retaliate.
Hakumen boss on terumi arcade is bullshit when i play on very hard difficulty - spam yukikaze that deplete half of my HP - only spam 3C while im down until i lost 4k HP ( my terumi cant even get up for some reason -_-) - "auto pilot yukikaze". (-_-) i dont even understand, every time i try to attack him he always got a right time to use his goddamn counter. after 30++ attempt and alot of swearing i finally rage quit lol (/-_-)/. im never gonna try hell difficulty on arcade
This literally has to be the ONLY arcade mode for a character in BlazBlue I've seen where any form of the song Blood Pain is used. Now I want to get Terumi even more....shame I got my copy after release date. :/

I usually like to start off with a standing C since it has more range. I usually go with these starting combos: standing C > Down C > Standing D > 236D. That should get you to just below 50 Heat according to BBCP. A more proper starting combo would be 5B>5C>2C>6D>236D. Be quick on the 236D though, make sure to do it at the right time so it hits. When you reach 50 heat and successfully hit a 236D, you should use the 63214B Distortion Drive. It does a nice amount of damage and raises combo meter a lot. If you back your enemy at a corner and he begins to block, try using 214D, a command grab. It's unblockable and unpredictable if you seldom use it. It also gives you a lot of heat and has a lot of range compared to a regular grab. You can also combo into a 63214B if you have enough heat. Next we have the 6C. It's a 3 hit attack that has a lot of range. Use it when you're running, but it's unsafe if they manage to block. If you manage to get a counter, 2B to get them into the air and 5C to start another combo chain. For 100 Heats, I only have 3 combos and one of them is an astral finish. First off, you combo like I explained the first time: 5B>5C>2C>6D>236D But this time instead of using 63214B, use 632146D. So basically: 5B>5C>2C>6D>236D>632146D When you overdrive into this, you drain heat. Remember, when using 632146D, you will drain all your heat and it costs 50 heat to activate. The 2nd is only tested in BBCP and I am barely able to pull off: Get your opponent on the floor and spam 2C. If you do it properly, Terumi should rapidly kick your opponent more than he usually does and kicks him away, but he should bounce off a "wall" no matter what. When that happens: 236236D for insane damage. Finally, the astral finish combo. I have 3 ways to combo into an astral: 1st and favorite -236D>222D (spam 222D when he's doing the first move) -Grab>222D -6D>222D or 6D>236D>222D
I also like to start the match by 9C, or forward jump C, no dash. There's also 9>2D but it's hard for me to confirm. You should fall relatively quickly (9C) and quickly 5C (standing C). Or you can start off with a 5D>236D. It works almost every time. Except against Hakumen. His 4C is very exploitable. Well, you'd need to set up a US PSN account in order to redeem the Terumi code, since US DLC doesn't work on a UK account because of regional locks (the game itself is region-free though), but that's really easy. There should be some video tutorials on how to do it correctly. After downloading it, you should be able to use the DLC you've downloaded on your UK account, as a friend I know has done this with the JP version of Chronophantasma, and it worked fine for him.

I think he's *too* aggressive as Terumi, especially for the in-fight voice clips. He's so jagged and throaty, not as smooth an sinister as CT-CS Terumi (although in CT he was closer to the way he his now, ironically).
Yeah, but Terumi is always enjoying the beatings he doles out whether he's angry or not. None of Terumi's dialogue - save the occasional sarcastic quip - sounds like he's enjoying it. He just sounds angry for anger's sake.
