HMMMMM I think from what you shared which was an outstanding tried and true and definitely can't deny that, as you ALWAYS are 100% Honest and we see it for ourselves and gosh Wink of Stella which I use allot dries awesomely, give a great sparkle and doesn't rub off Soooo I don't have any of these Spectrum markers but not sure about their final look...GREAT job showing it up close & personal!! The metal colors were a bit disappointing. The gold was actually a bile green (and it is almost duplicated in two other sets). Some other colors are pretty much duplicated (how many in cantaloupe do I need?). That being said, some of the other colors are wonderful. The Christmas and Autumn sets, as well as Glitz and Glam had marvelous, rich colors. I think they could have thought out the color choices better. I bought all of mine at Michael's with 50% coupons.
I have quite a few of these (22 - yeah I have issues with pens ;) ). When they work, they are better than Wink of Stella, however I have had problems with 4 or 5 of them. One just doesn't work, a couple leak badly and a couple have nice color but no glitter. They seem to have A LOT more glittery liquid inside the pens than Wink of Stella, so I cautious recommend them, but purchase them somewhere where they can be easily returned if they don't work.
If you have some that seem to have no glitter, I recommend you shake them (with the cap on because the liquid will come out and splatter) for a little while; nor hard, but continuosly. I had one that seem like it had no glitter and it was because since they come brush up in the packaging all the glitter was at the bottom. I shook it fast for about 10 seconds and then gently for about 45 seconds, all the while brush side up and cap on, and it worked. Hope yours are working by now since this was months ago!!
Be careful shaking them once the ink goes down! Mine splattered all over my Happy Planner page I was working on. And I found in general the ink flow was too much.

Maybe they rushed these to market. If they had taken a bit more time, it would have been a better product. I like everything else they make.

the markers look good but the glitter will rub off unless u seal it.

Have a clear wink of stella and I'm not impressed. It actually dries whiten chalky. It supposed to be clear and glittery.
Not anything I think I would use. I will stick with the wink of stella
