Hi - It is on Amazon here in the United States. Are you able to access Amazon here? As far as translations go, I thought Amazon had a way to print this in the requested language. I will check into this. Thanks for asking!

Hey Eddie, thanks so much! I really want to write a book on mixing specifically but wrote my first book on how to get the system set up so that you could mix. It makes mixing so much easier and you get to be creative rather than diagnose all night. So thanks for picking up a copy....
To answer your question on “Hi Pass filters..... nearly everything gets a hi-Pass filter. If I had my board in front of me, I could just go right through it and tell you but I don’t. So let’s start with Kick.... start with 20Hz and start bringing it up.....20,30,40 and while listening, see if it cleans up. On PA systems, it is easy to hear this. Asking any system to produce 20-30 Hz information really makes the low end work to do it. The higher quality the system, the better it can handle reproducing low end information..... a cheap system (Mackey Thump or whatever..... it will get stressed in a hurry. So bringing up the hi-Pass on a cheap system can really help clean up the mix. It may not be heavy low end, but it will be a cleaner more neutral type of sound. So kick and bass, around 30 hz or higher. Floor Tom the same. Rack toms, go up to say 50-60 hz and start there..... go up higher while listening and see if it helps. If not, lower it back down.... Snare - 100hz. I tend to add some EQ 180-200 hz to fatten up a thin snare. Hi-hat, high pass up to 250-300hz. Vocals always gets a minimum 180hz high-pass start with. Sometimes I get up into the 200 range on that with some singers., Guitars 100 hz to start with. Again this all depends on the system you are mixing on. One tidbit here.... the high pass is a great filter but it can’t be used alone. If you high pass a vocal to 200 Hz and shut your tops off, you will still hear a hum of some sort in the subs due to the vocal. So the channel strip high-pass didn’t eliminate everything below the 200 hz AND the PA system crossover settings (Hi & low pass filters) didn’t prevent it either.... WHAT? So if you run AUX fed subs, it will be impossible to get the vocal in the subs, well unless you feed it there. If you don’t run aux fed subs, you will have to use an EQ around the hi-Pass area utilizing a sharper cut in or around that area in addition to the hi-pass filter. Hope that makes sense. It’s tricky and just takes practice. Well, I hope I didn’t just confuse you more.....Lol.... thanks for buying my book! I hope it helps and message me anytime!

Thanks Bryan! The Driverack is a very useful tool with a great “tool set”. Parametric Eq’s, Graphic EQ, Limiters and the ability to electronically delay an output to time align your tops with your subs if needed. I used the DR260 for years. When I made the switch to all RCF, they pretty much had it all figured out for me. All I needed to do at that point was to take into consideration what the room did to my system. Usually some changes in the low end and low mid area since my system was very linear outdoors in free space from reflections and boundaries..... well, except the ground...
Thanks my friend! Hit me up if you have any questions about the book. I can help clarify.

@@Mr.Brolic - I wish I had the time to do that. I no longer work for the large audio & Lighting group due to the pandemic. I relocated to Florida and now play music on the beach. However, I may do a book on “Mixing” in the near future.
