SF6 did a fantastic job with their music and I heard a couple of songs in Tekken 8 that were great but yeah...the music in games aren't how they used to be...I noticed that first in Sonic games
I prefer this era of the Shadaloo dolls where they all looked and acted the same compared to SF5, where they have unique costumes and individual personalities. They're supposed to be Bison's kidnapping victims/mind-control slaves/spare bodies, so making them act like goofballs in story mode really undersells what should be a serious plot point.
Considering Bison's weaker Psycho Power in SFV (and the lack of the Psycho Drive), having them still controlled (but with some individuality) is a feat for him.
I used to play as Juli and Juni frequently, yet I never paid attention to their theme until today! It's whimsical yet dark, accented with a touch of fear and confusion. Unbelievably catchy! I also get some extremely vague Parasite Eve vibes from this music :)
It was hard to hear this theme. You had to be in VS mode or practice i believe. They play a different song for them during story mode. Sodom had an alternate theme as well. If he was equipped with x-ism i believe you heard a different more badass track

Her special skill in Dramatic Battle is great, though. Healing a bit of life. I think they should one day bring her back with that skill available for Single Player as well. I mean, it heals, sure, but it leaves you quite open for the opponent to combo the heck outta ya if you're not careful, so I think it's fair game. Still, lore-wise, I don't think Cammy would want her to fight ever again, so that's sadly not likely to happen.

Of course, each of them would not have an over the top moveset like the other characters, but they would take advantage of having two life bars (one for each of them) and a LOT of tag moves. I imagine it would be much like the Tekken Tag Tournament series, only you have no one but yourself. I dunno, what do you think?

Yeah, Gen and Gouken being clones/ghosts. Eh, that one I don't know about. I've read a lot of people disagree on that particular point.

Yeah, as far as I know, there are 12 dolls from various countries and each are named after a month of the year in their native language. Noembelu is from Mexico. However, the Spanish word for November is "Noviembre", so some of the names are off. Decapre is from Russia, and also bears a striking resemblance to Cammy, only with a black face.

What I want is *Juni* to be playable! I mean, c'mon! In terms of story, it fits! Cammy supposedly is still missing and hiding away for attacking those officerz who would've arrested Decapre. Juni could set out to find out what happened to her since Shadaloo's fall and maybe try to prove her innocent or something. I think that would have potential. She could get some character interactions along the way too. Meeting Chun-Li and Guile and learning about the police incident. Encountering Menat and getting some fortune telling full of riddles. Finding Ed, sensing his Psycho Power and mistaking him for Bison. Maybe (oh GOD) having the misfortune on stumbling across Kolin and wanting to interrogate her. And, well, she could either end up finding Juli, or some of the other Dolls or _heck,_ she could find Juri and get some tense moments before (maybe) finally reuniting with Cammy. I dunno, these are just some ideas that popped in my head. :P

Considering the arcade edition endings, all the dolls was saved [except Marz because she's MIA], and most of them returned to their normal lives [Like Juli returning to the T.Hawk's village being the second leader of the same village, being Hawk's wife, Aprile being protected by her brother in Italy, etc]
That said, ALL TWELVE dolls appear in the game's story mode, "A Shadow Falls." Those being Enero, Février, März, Aprile, Satsuki, Juni, Juli, Santamu, Xiayu, Jianyu, Noembelu and Decapre.
Well, a 16 year old Juli(a) dating a 28-29 year old T.Hawk before Alpha 3....Capcom would be smart to age her up. That's the main reason why she should be 19 or 20 during that time. Along with a fluid age range, The Dolls don't even have to be schoolgirl age since their whole theme revolves around being brainwashed soldiers/victims. They didn't come in as schoolgirls like Sakura and Karin did. Making them so vague in this instance was a good move on Capcom's part!
Well, in the canon storyline, Juli gets completely fucked up when M. Bison is temporarily destroyed, so she gets serious amnesia. She can't even smile or anything.

Just look at the comic explanation: She's the daughter of a male German doctor that wanted to help the Thunderfoot tribe. Heck, the Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia classifies her as German still and that came out in 2010.

Hmm, i used to have this old japanese comic that capcom had released during the Queens of Capcom run. It has a good chunk of details on Rs and SF characters. The info on the dolls were interesting as well. Like it said the DOLL Aprile is the younger sister of a Italian official and rose was hired to find her. Juli and Juni as far as I know were 16 when they were kidnapped. Heck who knows how long its been since they were kidnapped and when the tournament was held. They could be older by now.

Actually Capcom didn't give Juni and Juli a specific set age. The SF Plot Canon Guide mentions that all The Dolls were just given a general age range of 10-20 when they were kidnapped. Juni and Juli can be older than 16. The Udon SF WW Encyclopedia doesn't list birthdates for them either.

The Street Fighter Plot Canon Guide was the first one to break that open (well, the Shoryuken Warriors Fate thread and Vasili anyway). Last I checked, it was originally found out on Page 196 of the Warriors Fate thread. The 1st appearance of the lovers thing might actually be from the Japanese Street Fighter Zero 3 Official Guidebook Challenger's Edition when it talks about T.Hawk from what Vasili put out there.

Vasili even made mention of it years ago in the Shoryuken Warriors Fate thread from 2005 (in reference to the Japanese All About Capcom), along with what you're saying about Noembelu being "Latin American." Here's a thought: Cammy is based on Alita/Gally. Juni and Juli are equivalents of Elf and Zwölf. That makes me wonder; will there ever be a Street Fighter character based on Sechs? :D

I remember that Juli and Juni were default oponent in SFA3 just when you play as Fei-Long, Dee-Jay, T. Hawk, Guile, Balrog and Juli or Juni.
This theme was fitting for the Dolls in my opinion. Had a dark and dreadful tone to it which fits their background.

I want her to come back in general. But I just hope Capcom gives her a better character next time (when she gets to be playable again) most of all.
Well, in the canon storyline, Juli gets completely fucked up when M. Bison is temporarily destroyed, so she gets serious amnesia. She can't even smile or anything.
@SilverEyedJackal77 I don't think anyone can conclusively state 100% that Julia is Mexican. Just look at the comic explanation: She's the daughter of a male German doctor that wanted to help the Thunderfoot tribe. Heck, the Street Fighter World Warrior Encyclopedia classifies her as German still and that came out in 2010.

Hmm, i used to have this old japanese comic that capcom had released during the Queens of Capcom run. It has a good chunk of details on Rs and SF characters.
The info on the dolls were interesting as well. Like it said the DOLL Aprile is the younger sister of a Italian official and rose was hired to find her. Juli and Juni as far as I know were 16 when they were kidnapped.
Heck who knows how long its been since they were kidnapped and when the tournament was held. They could be older by now.

Actually Capcom didn't give Juni and Juli a specific set age. The SF Plot Canon Guide mentions that all The Dolls were just given a general age range of 10-20 when they were kidnapped. Juni and Juli can be older than 16. The Udon SF WW Encyclopedia doesn't list birthdates for them either.
@BassX0 Except I knew about the T.Hawk-Juli lovers connection way back in late 2008. The Street Fighter Plot Canon Guide was the first one to break that open (well, the Shoryuken Warriors Fate thread and Vasili anyway). Last I checked, it was originally found out on Page 196 of the Warriors Fate thread. The 1st appearance of the lovers thing might actually be from the Japanese Street Fighter Zero 3 Official Guidebook Challenger's Edition when it talks about T.Hawk from what Vasili put out there.

Vasili even made mention of it years ago in the Shoryuken Warriors Fate thread from 2005 (in reference to the Japanese All About Capcom), along with what you're saying about Noembelu being "Latin American." The Udon SF WW Encyclopedia says mention of Juli being German too. I'll PM you the links.

Here's a thought: Cammy is based on Alita/Gally. Juni and Juli are equivalents of Elf and Zwölf. That makes me wonder; will there ever be a Street Fighter character based on Sechs? :D
For me, the most beautiful and the sexiest amongst the Shadaloo girls is none other than JULI.
