As is undoubtedly the case with millions of others, Joseph Murphy and his book The Power of the Subconscious Mind introduced me to the ideas that slowly turned my thinking around. At the time I first read it, in the early 70's, it was deeply compelling to me, but I couldn't accept the ideas. Now, 40 years later, I've heard these same teachings from hundreds of sources and now teach it myself. Listening to this recording today was really a remarkable kind of DeJaVu experience as I realized what he was saying in 1963 when he wrote his seminal book, is exactly what thousands of teachers are teaching today. His work has changed the world. I am so grateful to his memory.

Not true. He’s nothing like Neville. Joseph Murphy is much better and as time grew he became less overly aggressive with the woo hoo unlike Neville. Thats where Neville messed up at.

I've been actively reprogramming my subconscious mind for a loving happy fulfilling life on a daily, And imagined from first person perspective how my reality was going to be, and holy shit!!! Everywhere i go people are smiling and super kind to me, my confidence seduces and impresses others around me like What!!? I feel like a wizard cuz when i imagine something long enough and stay faithful to it, it fucking happens outside of my mind like🤯🤯🤯
@@nshidah5580 change your subconscious programming. i used meditation from utube. observe your thoughts. if they are negative change them. at first it is hard to do so go general. for example. "i am having a bad day" instead try to think "my day is not going well but my day will get better"

I've always said it,I've been reading his books and listening to talks since I first had YT.I love listening to him and when I read his books I hear his voice when I read,but I find it impossible to listen to it in any other voice..Same goes for Neville.
I think the thing we call the subconscious is more than we think it is.. it's not just an aspect of mind, but a deeper aspect of reality. Fundamental, and to us largely unfathomable. It's the thing we often look for, but don't recognize as such.
I think the subconscious mind is an independent mind, similar to the conscious mind. It is a part of you, but it goes much deeper than that. The subconscious mind, like you said, is a deeper aspect of reality. I think we interact with the subconscious mind everyday without even realizing it. I have met people of the opposite sex who have been pretty much instantly attracted to me, even if they don't even know me. But somehow, they 'know' me, otherwise they would not be drawn to me. I am not handsome by any means, meanwhile these people of the opposite sex are ALWAYS physically attractive, they are 'out of my league'. For a long time, I didn't understand why this happens and why it continually happens over and over again (different people, but they behave very similarly to each other, two of them have done the same exact thing with the intention of telling me through body language that they are into me). I have noticed that this only happens with one person at a time, not with multiple people at the same time. My theory currently is that these individuals are my subconscious mind seeking out to interact with me in the physical realm. That could explain how they 'know' me. I think what we call physical reality is a dream that is shared with the conscious and subconscious mind.
@@chrissemenko628 It's just a theory, but the more I observe people, the more I notice how they behave in ways that are not really in alignment with traits that often are associated with the conscious (rational) mind. People (in general) are irrational, emotional and accept what they're being told as reality, even if what they're being presented with is complete bogus. The subconscious mind is said to accept what is being input to it without questioning it, because it can't reason on its own. This reminds me quite a lot about how the average person acts in his/her day to day life.

I like Joseph Murphy's own voice . When others read his material in audiobook format, it lacks the power and the nuance of Joseph Murphy's voice.

People (in general) are irrational, emotional and accept what they're being told as reality, even if what they're being presented with is complete bogus. The subconscious mind is said to accept what is being input to it without questioning it, because it can't reason on its own. This reminds me quite a lot about how the average person acts in his/her day to day life.

Very timely video for me right now. I caught myself thinking negative thoughts toward a person. feeling annoyed with myself, i clicked on this video and instantly stopped those negative thoughts in their tracks! I will listen to this every time that happens.

Jon Snow 1st take notes of the prayers that is mentioned in this video. There’s over a dozen powerful prayers.
2nd make a diary or post them all over your house. ( bathroom is great spot )
3- read them all when you wake up & when your just about to go to bed.
4- when you step out in the world , begin to totally believe that you have a friend within your mind. ASK this friend anything , and observe the answer.
Your answer comes to you within seconds to your mind or any other way observe your feelings and your environment. It’s a dynamic field relating YOU & everything around you.
That’s how I got started.
