    Looks good! I like the width of the raised area.

      Thank you these hoods are kinda short I didn't want to get aggressive with height and make it look out of proportion and know idk if I want to extend it back more or leave it like it is

    Excellent build.
    Grab an old pipe and put under metal and use to roll out .
    Regarding welder... Flux core isn't the greatest but it bests a blank.
    When I fabricated gas tanks for choppers, I prefer to tack then braze.
    Brazing is old skool.
    Excellent work and keep fabbin

    Any Ideas for my 2005 Cateye the 05 hoo would curve a bit.. I also gave a chevy Van id like to takle

    • @CCAutoWorks
      @CCAutoWorks  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cateye trucks usually look best with the hd hood but I just go off the factory body lines on the hood and just exaggerate them into a cowl

      You talking like stick weld

      @@CCAutoWorks i just couldn't remember if the sheet metal with the arc weld would stick when you weld it together. Usually I see people using Mig welding rather that Flux or Arc.
