For those confused on what the curses are, here’s a very short explanation👇 Basically everyone is bound to one of three curses. Cursed to be: harmonious, orderly, corrupted Those who behave in a way not aligned with their curse are punished, experiencing great pain from an unseen source. The punishment can be severe to the point of death, so everyone tries to behave. Those who are not bound to any of the curses are known as “Unbounded”. Astrid is an unbounded, living in the harmony kingdom (estra). Hope this is helpful💚
Can we just take a moment to notice how the curse is absolutely TERRIFYING? It basically forces you to act a singular way and if you go against it you will be punished with death. This just shows humans are an array of different personalities, beliefs, and emotions. And I love how this series is showing as well how exhausting it can be to act kind. Even Harmony is considered a curse because not everyone can just stay nice and kind and not be emotionally exhausted by it. Not to mention everyone there would be in danger. Well done! I love how this episode perfectly showcases how the curse has emotionally impacted people and how it has literally made people be fake friends with others just to obey by the rules. What an amazing project you have!
Literally whispered to Astrid “I know how you feel…” when her parents died. That hit personally because mine did so fast like hers.. it’s like they’re here one moment and then they’re not.. I feel for her, that part made me almost cry. Also, that voice in her head.. “it’s all your fault, you could’ve saved them.” God, that hits so hard. Nonetheless, phenomenal work from all of the team! I love the plot, it has me hooked already.

That part just really hit me JAJDJASJ- it was emotional all around and I feel horrible for Astrid even though she’s a fictional character haha 😭 And it’s no problem really. I think I’ll keep up with this one. I like stuff that seems more teen-audience based because that’s my age range. (I’m 16) Love to see the more ‘mature’ series :))
So, Looking back to the part where Astrid is talking to the girls wearing uniforms, I love the detail that they're caring and friendly on the outside but then it flashed scenes about what they're actually feeling which they actually never really cared, The last girl's thoughts was like "Why do we have to hang out with her" If you ask me, She probably hates unbounded people like Astrid because they most likely think unbounded people have it easy in life because they aren't bounded to any curse. They envied the unbounded people because unlike them people like Astrid has freedom which they never had. Ok moving on to the assassination of the unbounded people! This first episode shows us how Astrid's parents were assassinated, But if u payed attention to the assassin's actions you'll notice that they probably came from a different kingdom, Why you ask? Because the kingdom of estra aka kingdom of harmony had a curse of staying nice and harmonized unlike the assassin's actions, So I'm betting that they aren't from the kingdom of estra. anyway that's just my theory and the story overall is amazing :D

That's what my gut felt, Also I think Astrid purposely switched rooms with her parents because I think she knew what was coming and she swapped rooms with her parents so that she could protect them. Go on with your theories based on the spoilers y'all
Don't forget unbounded exist it could be from another kingdom but there might be unbounded who are threatened to kill other unbounded for their own safety effectively pitting them against each other which also makes a lot of sense
I'm so happy with how this came together! Especially the fighting scene, the animation was so SMOOTH! Voicing Astrid is SOO much fun, and I'm very happy to see that my voice acting has received positive feedback from the audience :)) Thank you for giving me the opportunity ^^

TEAM UNBOUNDED, YOU ARE INCREDIBLE! Setting the bar higher and higher, I see, I see... But honestly, this episode was just... MWAH, chef's kiss! The character designs were gorgeous; even the minor characters looked amazing. The backgrounds, setting, animation, WERE SO CLEAN! It really made the immersion real. Even the music was chosen perfectly! NOT TO MENTION THE VOICE ACTING! Everybody did so well; the casting was outstanding. And Zoey, it must have been a huge task to coordinate such a large and talented team, major props for that! Overall 11/10 production, bravo 👏👏✨!
THAT WAS SPECTACULAR! The history, lip syncing, voice acting, animation, rigging, designs, all of it was amazing!🤩 I really like the whole idea of the unbounded people and how they have to deal with the ones affected by the curse! This is incredible! The characters have very clean movements. It's as if we're all watching a real life story being told. I personally like animated voice acting stories but I have never seen one animated as well as this. You should be very proud of your talent.

That was the best 24 minutes of my whole entire life! The animation.... AMAZING! The characters.... AMAZING! The voice actors.... AMAZING! Everything else about the series... PERFECTION! Now I'm really pumped for Episode 2 whenever that comes out! I'll be adding this to my playlist on loop and knowing everyone did a beautiful job on this, I feel like the unbounded series deserves even more of my appreciation. Holy SHIT was that well written. In this single episode you have a piece of my heart dying for these characters (which is a very good thing for me, by the way). The effort put into this episode alone is very clear to see. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is fantastic- I absolutely love the fight scenes (seriously, SO much effort went into those). Another note on the voice acting- W O W the emotion in those last few scenes was so flipping great. Those last few lines from Astrid’s mother- phenomenal. Everything was phenomenal. I am so excited to see how the story continues to unfold in future episodes. Keep up the amazing work, NotZoey and all of the Unbounded team!!!😁👍
After rewatching the first episode a few times I have a few theories. Theory time (This is going to be a long one lol) - (9:05) The part when Astrid explained the divine god and the Raeda was very interesting to me. Since it was mentioned that the light Raeda was the one that cursed Estra to be bound by harmony at (10:58) we can assume that the light Raeda is this one (9:08) Maybe Valonis was cursed by this Raeda (9:10) And Zarano was cursed by this Raeda (9:12) (The character designs for the 3 Raeda were absolutely amazing btw whoever designed and drew them are really skilled) - (5:08) Astrid talks about seeking the Secret Unbounded Association for help so that means that there's an Association focused of killing the unbounded (2:15) and an Association focused of protecting or saving the unbounded (23:48) so I'm guessing they're going to go in an all out fight in the future (In the trailer there were multiple fight scenes that weren't included in the first episode so it's possible?) And maybe Astrid would seek out the Secret Unbounded Association and join them to avenge her parents. - Next is the Wind divinity Astrid has that mentioned here (5:18) I would like to guess that everyone has this kind of divinity (but maybe different elements) and perhaps some has stronger divinities than others - Now about the watch (3:17) and the person that looks very similar to Astrid (0:40) Maybe Astrid has a different curse or power she can't control and for this scene (16:54) Astrid was maybe waiting for that person that looks like her so maybe Astrid fights her often at night which can be the reason why she doesn't get good night sleeps. Alright that's enough theories.. I really look forward to the next episode! (To ramble about more theories haha) The team did a really good job! To the designs,animation, editing, voice acting and everything! Every second was very enjoyable and sometimes I'd get distracted by how good the designs or animation is especially in this scene (8:48) The team did a really good job on this episode and I'm sure it'll be even better from here on out! And of course you did a really good job directing this Zoey! I'm really really excited for this series 💖

I just finished watching this and I have to say, I’m very impressed. the animation and visuals are excellent, the voices are well done, and this story is so interesting my godd- I CANNOT wait for the next episode! this team is SO talented! edit: I noticed that the person Astrid encounters looks and sounds very similar to her. I think it could be her from the future, trying to convince her younger self that *she* was the one responsible for the death of her parents. idk tho.

Theory bcuz why not: Ok so the ghost girl might be Astrid’s evil side, bcuz she looks like her with a ponytail. Or, (ik this sounds weird) maybe if Astrid WAS affected by this curse (not the harmony one, one of the other two bcuz she’s definitely not nice) then she would be like that ghost girl in the future. So maybe she is constantly fighting with the evil or in this case, bounded, side of her. Edit: maybe Astrid and her bounded side is trying to get one another to be on their side, I think the Raeda might also join this fight but idk what for, I’ll edit again if I think of a reason :) this series is incredible! When i saw astrid with the kids i remeberd exactly the story board (since zoey needed more story board artists) both the story boerd of the part and animated part r both amazing! but this was amazing within the past year u can see the process this was the best thing ive watched from the community in my opion from clif hangers and animating rigs voice acting ect To everyone in zoeys team you all did amazing you can tell the amount of work put in and this is amazing cant wait for episode 2 💜🦋

Some details I picked up (Warning: This contains spoilers and it's quite long so if your not willing to read a lot, don't read this comment) -Unbounded people are 'hunted down' in a way -They also can see things others can't (3:16) -There is a 'secret unbounded association' that try to save the unbounded (5:03) -There might be different 'divinities' for the unbounded? I'm not completely sure (5:17) -Astrid might like Nyssa? Again I'm not sure (5:48) -The three kingdoms are Estra (harmony), Valonis (corruption) and Zorano (order) (10:47) -All kingdoms are cursed, even if people are taught that they aren't (11:14) -Nobody can really stop the curse and you'll get punished for going against it (13:16) -Astrid seems to have 'another self' in a sense and it seems to always tell her negative things (shown in the beginning of the video and 19:12) This was already heavily hinted at in the trailer -Izetta seems to be the one who planned the death of Astrid's parents...(23:01) That's all for now, again, well done to you and your team! Can we just take a moment to notice how the curse is absolutely TERRIFYING? It basically forces you to act a singular way and if you go against it you will be punished with death. This just shows humans are an array of different personalities, beliefs, and emotions. And I love how this series is showing as well how exhausting it can be to act kind. Even Harmony is considered a curse because not everyone can just stay nice and kind and not be emotionally exhausted by it. Not to mention everyone there would be in danger.

So, Looking back to the part where Astrid is talking to the girls wearing uniforms, I love the detail that they're caring and friendly on the outside but then it flashed scenes about what they're actually feeling which they actually never really cared, The last girl's thoughts was like "Why do we have to hang out with her" If you ask me, She probably hates unbounded people like Astrid because they most likely think unbounded people have it easy in life because they aren't bounded to any curse.
They envied the unbounded people because unlike them people like Astrid has freedom which they never had.
Ok moving on to the assassination of the unbounded people!
This first episode shows us how Astrid's parents were assassinated, But if u payed attention to the assassin's actions you'll notice that they probably came from a different kingdom, Why you ask? Because the kingdom of estra aka kingdom of harmony had a curse of staying nice and harmonized unlike the assassin's actions, So I'm betting that they aren't from the kingdom of estra.
anyway that's just my theory and the story overall is amazing :D

Don't forget unbounded exist it could be from another kingdom but there might be unbounded who are threatened to kill other unbounded for their own safety effectively pitting them against each other which also makes a lot of sense

Setting the bar higher and higher, I see, I see... But honestly, this episode was just... MWAH, chef's kiss! The character designs were gorgeous; even the minor characters looked amazing. The backgrounds, setting, animation, WERE SO CLEAN! It really made the immersion real. Even the music was chosen perfectly!
NOT TO MENTION THE VOICE ACTING! Everybody did so well; the casting was outstanding. And Zoey, it must have been a huge task to coordinate such a large and talented team, major props for that! Overall 11/10 production, bravo 👏👏✨!

That was the best 24 minutes of my whole entire life! The animation.... AMAZING! The characters.... AMAZING! The voice actors.... AMAZING! Everything else about the series... PERFECTION! Now I'm really pumped for Episode 2 whenever that comes out! Holy SHIT was that well written. In this single episode you have a piece of my heart dying for these characters (which is a very good thing for me, by the way). The effort put into this episode alone is very clear to see. The animation is beautiful, the voice acting is fantastic- I absolutely love the fight scenes (seriously, SO much effort went into those). Another note on the voice acting- W O W the emotion in those last few scenes was so flipping great. Those last few lines from Astrid’s mother- phenomenal. Everything was phenomenal.
I am so excited to see how the story continues to unfold in future episodes. Keep up the amazing work, NotZoey and all of the Unbounded team!!!😁👍

After rewatching the first episode a few times I have a few theories.
Theory time (This is going to be a long one lol)
- (9:05) The part when Astrid explained the divine god and the Raeda was very interesting to me. Since it was mentioned that the light Raeda was the one that cursed Estra to be bound by harmony at (10:58) we can assume that the light Raeda is this one (9:08)
Maybe Valonis was cursed by this Raeda (9:10)
And Zarano was cursed by this Raeda (9:12)
(The character designs for the 3 Raeda were absolutely amazing btw whoever designed and drew them are really skilled)
- (5:08) Astrid talks about seeking the Secret Unbounded Association for help so that means that there's an Association focused of killing the unbounded (2:15) and an Association focused of protecting or saving the unbounded (23:48) so I'm guessing they're going to go in an all out fight in the future (In the trailer there were multiple fight scenes that weren't included in the first episode so it's possible?) And maybe Astrid would seek out the Secret Unbounded Association and join them to avenge her parents.
- Next is the Wind divinity Astrid has that mentioned here (5:18)
I would like to guess that everyone has this kind of divinity (but maybe different elements) and perhaps
some has stronger divinities than others
- Now about the watch (3:17) and the person that looks very similar to Astrid (0:40)
Maybe Astrid has a different curse or power she can't control and for this scene (16:54)
Astrid was maybe waiting for that person that looks like her so maybe Astrid fights her often at night which can be the reason why she doesn't get good night sleeps.

I really look forward to the next episode! (To ramble about more theories haha) The team did a really good job! To the designs,animation, editing, voice acting and everything! Every second was very enjoyable and sometimes I'd get distracted by how good the designs or animation is especially in this scene (8:48) The team did a really good job on this episode and I'm sure it'll be even better from here on out! Again, this probably took forever to complete, a full year of hardwork and determination! I look forward to viewing upcoming episodes, I think this is now- just judging by the first episode- my all time favorite Gacha life series, and that’s not an exaggeration! I hope “Unbounded” really earns (who am I kidding, it already has)- GETS the attention in deserves! Out of all the Gacha community and Gacha- Tubers, NotZoey is truly one that strives to create a large difference in the community- and this single episode really showed that more than anything. Ok so the ghost girl might be Astrid’s evil side, bcuz she looks like her with a ponytail. Or, (ik this sounds weird) maybe if Astrid WAS affected by this curse (not the harmony one, one of the other two bcuz she’s definitely not nice) then she would be like that ghost girl in the future. So maybe she is constantly fighting with the evil or in this case, bounded, side of her.
Edit: maybe Astrid and her bounded side is trying to get one another to be on their side, I think the Raeda might also join this fight but idk what for, I’ll edit again if I think of a reason :) this series is incredible! Good job Zoey and the team!

-Unbounded people are 'hunted down' in a way
-They also can see things others can't (3:16)
-There is a 'secret unbounded association' that try to save the unbounded (5:03)
-There might be different 'divinities' for the unbounded? I'm not completely sure (5:17)
-Astrid might like Nyssa? Again I'm not sure (5:48)
-The three kingdoms are Estra (harmony), Valonis (corruption) and Zorano (order) (10:47)
-All kingdoms are cursed, even if people are taught that they aren't (11:14)
-Nobody can really stop the curse and you'll get punished for going against it (13:16)
-Astrid seems to have 'another self' in a sense and it seems to always tell her negative things (shown in the beginning of the video and 19:12) This was already heavily hinted at in the trailer
-Izetta seems to be the one who planned the death of Astrid's parents...(23:01)
