- FIRST LOOK: The Escalade-V is going to continue in Cadillac's lineup for 2025 and is getting some major updated. On the outside you will be greeted by a new V-series grill, LED lighting, front fascia and 21in wheels. On the inside you will be welcomed by an updated jet black leather interior, 55in OLED screen and new steering wheel. Under the hood is a 6.2L supercharged V8 that pumps out 682HP! Is the 2025 Cadillac Escalade-V a supercharged luxury performance SUV worth it?

$2,900 a month.....exactly the same as the mortgage, taxes, and insurance payment on my 3700 s.f. house with pool in the 'burbs. That's America, baby! I love it!

With this upgrade, Cadillac surpassed the GLS 63 AMG and the BMW Alpina XB7. Maybe even Range Rover. Salute!

I won't lie, as a red-blooded American I'd LOVE to have one of these, but once the high wears off and you look at the auto market financials, even a 7th grade dropout would see DISASTER on the horizon. 17% of consumers paying car debt their payment is $1000+ / month. Average *negative equity* on trade-in is $6300-----for the math-challenged, that means people are *paying* six thousand dollars extra just to get out of the loan they are currently in. That's like paying $27K for a Versa, just so you don't have to continue to pay for the Velar. Unless you make $500K a year (and don't fake, maybe only ONE of the 317 comments on here are by a person making that much), do NOT buy this."

Beautiful red colour. Love front end restyle. It’s a good looking brick now. Tech is great and so comfortable. I’m sure the price will reflect that it’s a performance Cadillac.

The extra speakers are great if you're an audiophile. Just wish they'd add sound to only the driver when on the phone or navigation through the headrest like the Q80 will have.
Not sure why, but the new design looks much better on this version than the white one in the previous video. Less chrome, I guess. Whatever... it looks better here.

Just my luck, I just accepted delivery of my 24 Escalade V in Black Raven w/o a cool box about three weeks ago after a year of waiting. I dig that new screen, my biggest pet peeve with my version is apple carplay only uses a small portion of the screen and it bugs the shit out of me. Great review as always Joe!

@@BCWYAF My understanding is that the “out the door” price before tax is going to sit around $168,000. And given the new model year doesn’t have CarPlay or android auto, no power train improvements - I can’t justify the upgrade for a screen upgrade. When to be honest I rarely pay attention to it. I also got a freaking killer deal on my V due to delays the dealer sold it below MSRP at around $144,000; so yet another reason to hang on to it!
100%, I have a 2021 Escalade and I like how the screen has a sleek look but it makes Carplay borderline unusable because it's so small, the screen just needs to be much taller but it doesn't look like they fixed it much on the 2025, still not tall enough.
@@ConnorRangatira Yup, the 35’ swooping screen does amazing when it’s using the native GPS and other features. Once you go to the CarPlay screen it’s only using 60% of the screen area.

Very happy to see the kept the V for 2025 with very nice upgraded features like that screen across the front and nice steering wheel with V button on the steering wheel. I wish you could special order the V with a full second row bench.

I dont like the refreshed front end. Looks ugly in my opinion. Headlights dont flow well with the front end. Another thing im not a fan of its screen frenzy. Im all for technology but they took over way too much. Other than that refresh is great. Interior is another level. Good job there Cadillac

Price is in line with other comparable models from the competitors. This isn't he 80s or 90s
Cadillac is king these days. You need to get with the times. The current Escalade has shut every luxury brand regardless whether it is a Rolls Royce, Bentley, Mercedes, BMW Range Rover or Lexus.

I never thought I would say this, But i would buy this high end Ecalade. In the past I loved the Linclon Navagator. But the Cadillac brand has really changed this year and props out to the company. I always liked Cadillac's but there interior design just did not do it for me, but now forget Linclon.
Thing is bigger than some bulldozers. Looks refined though. Cadillac deserves more respect, although to be fair, GM needs to have more patience with some models.
