"Is 666 the number of the beast?" - It's 666 in most sources, but there is an early text that has it as 616. 666 and 616 are Hebrew number code (Gematria) for "Nero Caesar" in Latin and Greek. It's widely accepted by scholars that the Book of Revelation (where the number of the beast comes from) is a kind of early Christian revenge fantasy against the Romans, because of Roman persecution of the early church. Writing such a document could be considered sedition, and since sedition carried the death penalty in the Roman Empire, Revelation was written in code - hence "The Beast" is code for Emperor Nero. So Revelation is basically a load of anti-Roman insults written in code, not some prophecy about the end times, as many current Evangelicals would have it. Biblical scholar and TH-camr Dan McClellan has a couple of very accessible short videos about Revelation if you want more info.
@@ogwnostalgiareviews I had to look it up I guess your right since one of the meaning is A sensual feeling, and sensual is just gratifying physical desires I hate this book taught me something.

Great video!
Classic - I didn't realize there were were actually books (other than the notorious Chick tracts)
You know, I didn't actually make the connection, but this book is basically a 300-page-long Chick tract!
Rituals at the Ren Faire! 😂
Aw, dude, *that's* how they get the giant turkey legs! It all makes sense now!
"Lusty cries of trick or treat." Gross.
LOL! It's a perfectly correct usage of the word, while managing to sound super sketch when applying it to kids!
