- This video contains the final announcement made at Splash Mountain (most of it you can't hear because of the crowds cheers) and the final log as it gets flung into the Briar Patch. A bittersweet moment for us Splash Mountain fans for sure.
"Attention inside Splash Mountain, ride will be run in show condition one last time. Thank you for all the laughs, cries, and memories But mostly, thank you for the best team that became a family. Br'er Rabbit, Fox, and Bear, it's time to be moving along. See you again"
@brianh8320yea
Splash Mountain thank you for the moments last 33 years
Glad that she didn’t try throw in “be nice to tiana” or something along those lines 😂
Goodbye splash Mountain thank you for the memories
I don’t wanna be moving along 🐰🦊🐻😭
Me neither! 😭
Nigga you better be getting a job 😂
I'm gonna miss the hell out of hearing those songs while on the ride..
I agree.
Especially the songs when you wait in line. I loved lip syncing them. On my last ride I was crying so bad.
Yeah, but you can still hear them on TH-cam.
The closure of this version in particular really saddens me even though i only have been to the magic kingdom version but the closure of the og is something else. This last day of operation was really bittersweet though the original creators like tony baxter and others got to ride and enjoy it one last time
Guys don’t worry there is still one in Tokyo!
I hope there is a clear version of this. Because I wanna hear everything the Cast Member said here. Its kinda drowned out by crowd a bit.
As Splash Mountain descends into history. 😢😢
Brer Rabbit, Brer Fox, and Brer Bear will never be forgotten. Sure Song of the South isn’t in distribution anymore, and the ride is no longer in the states, but Disney can’t erase the memories we have. That mountain in between New Orleans and Galaxy’s Edge will be forever known as Chickapin Hill.
Just go on the archive website if you want to watch the film. We need to stop relying on these awful companies like Disney.
Thank you for the memories splash
RIP Splash! You left us too soon.
PRO TIP: When your park is losing customers to the neighboring competitor, close your most popular attraction.
Exactly! Disney is literally self-destructing.
I’m really going to miss the music from this attraction. It was my favorite attraction in the entire park.
Thank you for all the memories, Splash Mountain. You will be missed so much. Time to be moving along 😢😢😢😢
I'm not moving along! Splash Mountain forever, I can't forgive Disney for this!
Quit worshipping false gods.
It was, in fact, *not* time to be moving along.
😞
Hard to watch, can’t believe it actually happened.
Its just getting rethemed.
@@functionatthejunction into a completely different ride
@Function at the junction It isn’t just a retheme it is turning into a whole new ride that will never be like the incredible splash mountain and it wasn’t just a ride it was a pice of art and with beautiful music it was a amazing ride to be
Made at Disneyland so it is not just a retheme it is making splash mountain ugly and different from the incredible Splash Mountain
Well, you’re gonna have to
We don’t “have” to its just our opinion
Man…
So its official Splash Mountain does talk
😢😢😢😢😢😢
It’s hard saying goodbye
thank you splash mountain for 13 years of Splashin and Laughin. Theres no other ride at Disney world the is and will ever be as musical, adventurous, and fun as you. Sure Tiana will be new and fresh but splash mountain has something they won't ever have, A zip a Dee Doo Dah ride.
help, I don't wana move along!
@splahin'withkaden2004 when are you going to do another uncle Remus collector show episode?
@James Splash mountain YES I am!
Yay I love that series
What song at this at 1:41
"Uncle Remus leaves" from the Song of the South soundtrack
So any takers on the over/under when it’s brought back? I say 2 years.
That would be sick!
I’m not moving along
Thank you DEI
it's so sad.
Goodbye Splash Mountain 😭🌊⛰🐻🦊🐰🪵
Why did they close splash mountain? I’m crying
Because the Song of the South theming was super racist.
@@functionatthejunction it really wasn’t, if people did their research instead of just saying it’s racist and actually looking into the movie and script, it specifically tells how the movies based after slavery!
Because of green haired cry babies.
@Function At The Junction
Can you just shut up.
Everyone knows you just want to be hated that all why you
Keep saying it’s racist and none of it is racist just stop trying to be hated
So long from the briar patch😭😢😭😢😭😢😭
Because of George Floyd was murdered by Derek Chauvin, Splash Mountain has to be rethemed to Tiana's Bayou Adventure
😢😢😢😢
Zip a dee doo dah Zip a Dee Ay My Oh My What a Wonderful Day
At least it's still in Tokyo Disneyland but I'm disappointed because even though I went to the one in Tokyo, I've never been to the one in Anaheim and Orlando and they're already closing!! 😭😭😭
What’s even worse that in Tokyo Disneyland there’s no changes or plan’s happening
@@Derrick5240 What's wrong about Tokyo not changing their splash mountain though?
@@marikkelaszlo3355 Like basically we have to suffer and they don’t in short but it is what it is.
The logs got thrown in the trash
I hope tianas bayou adventure is a a massive failure and they bring it back ..but with better animatronics and updated scenes. Yeah yeah .i know..a man can dream tho yeah???
#tianasonherway
Brer life’s matter !🐰🐻🦊 I hate you Bob Chapek !
Just go to the one in Japan then
R.I.P. Splash Mountain…despite this ride’s racist aspect I hate Disney for this…same with turning TOT at DCA into GOTG:MB…dang…Disney oofed up big time.
Song of the South is based way after slavery and there are certain aspects of the behind the scenes that explain it’s not racist, so there’s no way it’s racist, just thought I’d point that out to you, but even if it was Disney made a huge mistake destroying this legacy
🫡 we must pay our respects🫡
