Martin AJ Blaney 6-10- 1986

On 6 October 1986 the IRA murdered Martin Alfred James Blaney, 27. Farmer/Community employment worker/off duty UDR soldier, shot as he slowed his car to turn in the laneway of his rural South Tyrone farm, in Northern Ireland.
Mr Blaney`s dog died with him. Murderers held a mother and her 2 children hostage and crying in their nearby bungalow.
