As Cristian is bleeding out, he still has to give 911 the address and try and talk Courtney out of her meltdown as she makes everything about herself. And in true narcissistic behavior, when she finds out he died, she's again making it all about herself by asking for hugs. She's a self-centered narcissist who thought she could boo hoo her way out of this.

Deeply wish he would share his story to help so many men ashamed and so fearful of running away. Or still blinded and confused by the love bombing in the beginning or in between. Or blindsided at every turn.
The testimonies of others really helps, and so much too once the individual has managed to get out.
Men suffering from DV and SA need a platform on social media.

Funny story, I actually met Brandon Call at a shuffleboard tournament years back.
      I was star-struck.
I got my first taste of the Hollywood limelight, and I was in a state of transcendental ecstatic bliss. My chest swayed, my eyes rolled back in my head and I gasped, "Brandon Call, right? From Step by Step."
He acknowledged me with a gleeful smirk and a proud nod.
      "That's me."
Sprawled on the concrete, writhing in ecstacy, I managed to garble out a few more words, "they don't make shows like that anymore."
He agreed and proceeded down the boardwalk hand in hand with his supple wife.
It's impressively gracious that a man of such caliber would ever grace my presence, let alone stoop to the level of the common man for a humble chat.
Since then, I've reflected back on that day with great reverence pondering where would we be now if back when even before they made shows like that, we all got to experience a certain level of precision entertainment that people were never able to get when they can't even watch it before they did it now!

Also, thank you for spreading the word about male victims of abuse. It's a topic that our culture continues to willfully overlook to this day and it NEEDS to stop. The fact police and detectives literally assumed it was a case of an abusive Boyfriend with 0 evidence apart from Tobey *being the one that was dead* is despicable.

The police let her go and she was free for four months in a rehab facility in Hawaii and she also purchased a luxurious home in Texas. When Christian's parents were called by the medical examiner asking them if they wanted to donate his organs they freaked as they did not know he passes. The police never bothered to notify them.
That's when they got an attorney and Courtney was arrested for second degree murder. It's a goo thing Christian recorded and even videotaped some of their incidences and it's a good thing the judge let them be used in trial to show exactly what kind of person Courtney is. She will def. go to prison for murder as her defense attorneys are nothing but a joke. The female defense attorney is always trying to make herself look good on camera.

Well, the question is, who did the hospital call first? The police or the family? You can't expect the police to stay at the hospital with a victim until they either recover or die. They only can know the victim died when/if they are announced. And even if the police didn't announce, the way the hospital acted is ludicrous... You don't call and ask about organ donation, you first call and announce the family that their member died. Afterwards you can think about your own interests... Truth. My older sister is a violent abuser. She's knocked everyone in the family around, even when we kicked her out, she'd come back for visits which usually ended in her having an emotional screaming meltdown, punching, kicking, slapping.
So when she got married, it was no surprise he came to me one day telling me she had been thumping him, a lot, regularly. Now my sis is a big STRONG woman. 💪 She would really let loose. When he struck her back, as he was hurting, angry and frustrated, she would just hit him harder!
Ofc they divorced and have no relationship now, wont even speak, despite having 3 kids. He really put up with her shit for a long long time.
Surprisingly, he never wanted to go to the police about it, because he had/would thump her back. He felt this invalidated the fact that she was always the physical aggressor. Yes he was stronger, but honestly not by much!
Even if women are weaker, should men just become punching bags? Ofc not!

The footage of her and Toby in the elevator truly showed she was the Abuser in this relationship. She really was a control freak, and loved the power she could just kick out Toby and say how she was the big moneymaker in the relationship. The power went to her head. She was making millions of dollars and basically felt she could behave however she wanted. Sadly Toby did love her and kept going back. I have seen this type of relationship, both with the Male being the abuser and also relationships with the Female as the abuser. And the Abuser does profusely apologize until the partner will give them another chance. Sadly Toby doesn't get another chance with a woman who would treat him a lot better than Courtney.
Edit: True, if there were no video evidence, then Courtney would of got away with murder and then got a new boyfriend to abuse. Just because who would believe that she was the aggressive one in the relationship.

He acknowledged me with a gleeful smirk and a proud nod.

Sprawled on the concrete, writhing in ecstacy, I managed to garble out a few more words, "they don't make shows like that anymore."

I've been waiting for Coffeehouse to cover this case because I have a lot of thoughts on this one, mostly about Courtney's toxic behavior that Christian overlooked because he "loved" her. When someone is as physically abusive as her, to the point the police are reportedly being called for domestic disputes, that's a HUGE sign to get out of the relationship before things take an eve darker turn but Christian stayed and it ultimately cost him his life. She definitely let the success get to her head and made her believe she could talk down and treat him like trash because she was basically taking care of them both, and I pray she rots in prison for life. When she's down, you can finish it or stomp her out.

Definitely NOT. She acted that way because it is in her NATURE to dominate and break down people until shit like this happends. Then blame them for her actions.
But she is a very stupid Malignant Narcissist at that.
Basically exposing herself all the time and then trying to backtrack. Can't keep a straight story or lie.
Her whole demeans just screams guilty. On top of the obvious things she says and does. Like even saying he is a victim before she tries to turn around the story.
(But how could she when she already has been known to hit and abuse him)
Like where she says "So I get the restraining order before he does" .. that was already a HUGE tell and exposing herself as a predator.
If she is afraid of him, she would say so instead of being concerned that he will come first to tell his story about what has happened.
Her saying after stabbing him that she is probably not necessarily in trouble. You know what level of delusion you gotta have to think you'll get away with this.
I thought she was faaaaar smoother and pinned him really good even if everybody around her knew her history of disordered patterns of behaviours.
But here she shows what a plain moron she actually is.
She didn't even try to do a compression and stop the bleeding MAN. She was selfishly just walking around in the knife in the house and dropped blood allover while he was bleeding out.
THEN afterwards acting like she cared. Saying stupid shit like she "threw the knife" and the way she showed how she threw it hahaha. They fkn knew she lied. The amount of pressure to puncture somebodies chest. She thinks this is a cartoon. "I for sure dang didn't stab him" .. yea sure. Especially when she also minute before that "Oh you mean how many times?" ^^
Her telling them "you should have given me the questions in beforehand so I could think about them" Bhahaha This woman lives in LaLaLand. Say you are guilty without saying you are guilty.
She thinks the world works in the same manner like the guys on OnlyFans.. she can do and say anything and everybody will just believe her and obey her fiddle.
Incredibly entitled and huge control freak.

This case made me fucking sick to my stomach. 😔 Christian’s last words are absolutely heartbreaking. And the way he was slowly dying… she didn’t even bother to call 911 and called her mother instead so she can twist the story and paint herself to be the victim. All while she was fully aware of how she harmed him… This is unforgiving. He deserved love and much more. May he rest in peace and may his family get the justice they deserve.

People like her give me the creeps & remind me of a person who stalked, threatened, & made an obscene phone call to my house. All the while, though I realized what was happening, I was so focused on worrying if I was good enough or if she trusted me.
I think (Toby?) didn't have the best self-esteem, to even be involved with someone like her to begin with.
I may always be single and miss the chance to share beautiful emotions with someone, but I'm very wary, have healthier boundaries & self-esteem, and have learned to spot as well as heed red flags.
So many people tell on themselves. All you have to do is listen.

If anything, anything genuine was out of fear for herself and what would happen to her. Not the man she killed.
Sure, she didn't want him to die, but only because she knows that if he died her life would be over.
I genuinely hope that justice is served and she ends up facing a long time in prison for her actions.
