    Hi in regards to the video at 26.13 minutes they bashed in the pipe so they could get the rod through the sidecar loops to hook a sidecar to the bike

    Only 8-9 HP? Wow, I would have thought much more???

      Well I wondered about that, so that original book from back then states the HP as 8-9 HP using the old way of measuring it "NACC horsepower" (named for the National Automobile Chamber of Commerce, modern equivalent would rate that at 34 HP, I was using the book chart as easy reference and didn't really want to confuse any one

      I guess horses were bigger back then, 😆. Yeah, I had to look it up online. Depending on the source, they were rated around 35- 50 hp? Thanks for the great video!
