2cp can work in overwatch 2. But the problem with the 2cp maps was that they them too basic like how most ended with enclosed room and the maps were too small. We can now see that they can make bigger maps. If they do bring 2cp make it so that there is more room for movment and more room for team work on both sides. But when they make 2 cp maps the map creators relied too much on chocks, they need to lower that.
I understood your reasoning until you put Dorado in A tier... how do you put it so far above Circuit Royale when that's essentially just a Dorado re-skin? Think about it, first point Circuit Royale is trying to get through a poke-heavy lane, first point Dorado is trying to get through a poke-heavy lowground disadvantage. Second point Circuit Royale is walking past an enemy highground hoping to not get picked off, but at least there are two semi-viable flank routes, second point Dorado is the same but with even worse flank routes because they take a billion years to get to. Third point for both maps is trying to push the cart through a more confined space where enemies will once again have not only highground advantage but spawn advantage as well.
Because the high grounds are easily contestable, easily accessed, and the rotations are fast while offering plenty of cover, unlike on circuit where it is essentially just walking into poke all game

My map ratings are 90% based on wallclimb working or not working how I want most of the time (genji otp). I think Suravasa is a fucking terrible map but just the fact that I've genuinely not had anything bullshit happen with climb instantly shoots it up to A tier. Almost every wall is flat, the places you climb up to have sharp edges, there isn't many places where something small sticking out of the wall stops your climb. There isn't annoying shit that steals your climb on the floor next to walls. There isn't rounded walls that are way too precise and will drop you if you turn a few degrees. There isn't weird things that look climbable but just don't work. The map is asscheeks but it's genuinely one of the most polished and well made in terms of wallclimb not being miserable to use, having that much control of my movement is insane, you can just use any wall without fear and it will work.
@@lukasg4807 awkward rotations, rng in the order that points are unlocked, confusing routing, map geometry often makes no sense outside of gameplay reasons. The maps are really confusing to play, me and most of my friends genuinely have no idea where we are going most of the time, just following the objective marker and hoping for the best. Flashpoint also requires a lot more coordination, which is fine, but can be annoying since the matchmaking is iffy at best, sometimes you get a teammate that doesn't belong in the game and does incomprehensibly stupid things. Well, everyone's got their own opinions, and to be sure not all of mine hold up logically next to each other either, but you've gotta admit it's kinda funny, isn't it? Like you go on about how bad Circuit and Havana are for their sightlines, but Rialto is S-tier? You complain about the high ground in other maps, but Dorado gets a pass for some reason even though every single point has high ground that non-mobile heroes have to take a Disney World-ass queue around the map to contest (And let's not even talk about how a lot of points in Dorado are direclty comparable to points on Paraiso!) Anyway, I'll put my whole ass out there instead of just complaining and say that Midtown is an S-tier map. Multiple ways to come at every point, with "main" lanes that have pretty good sightlines for long-range but never feel too oppressive due to other options. Like just on Point A, you can choose to go straight down the main underpass (which already offers a few branching paths to even get to it). You can snake through the train above, or even take the alleys/buildings below in a sort of opposite S-shape pattern. Point B high-ground is valuable, but accessible from multiple angles and there are bits of high ground the attackers can reach to contest it even without getting on it directly. Plus a large bit of the map takes place directly under the high ground, so much like Gibraltr, it forces the defenders to rotate off before too long. Finally, point C is the most straightforward "big ole open sightlines" segment of the map, but it crucially mostly lacks the sort of high-ground perches that snipers would love (past a few towards the start, which transition from useful defender locations to useful attacker spots, once the payload is pushed forward enough), leaving snipers powerful, but vulnerable to having the gap closed, too.

I like ow1 maps lol for some reason. I think temple of Anubis looks cool as much as 2cp is head banging. Hanamura is beautiful and being a stupid person I think I like 2cp lolz.
Is the hand doing better
Yes it's basically fully healed now
AMFAXQ adiseagle as jq high plat, best match ngl
Arctic plays well its just boring to look at
lowkey if it was some city scape map with minor layout changes it could be an S tier map. I think it looking boring is a big reason people subconsiously don't like it
Based as always
Dorado a? I want what you are smoking
36:36 the worst map in the game by a landslide I’d rather play any 2cp map than that trash pile all Of its high ground ugh
i have to disagree on busan downtown, as an absolute widowmaker hater i think you can mostly play around the enemy widow on the highground well enough and there are many options to play the game without peaking the "widow-highground" i would even say that the map with the drum is worse to play against widowmaker
also sym is not that bad on sniper heavy maps cause it is one of the few dps that allows you to somewhat flank on a map without flank routes since you can cross sightlines without getting shot at
(meta1 made a video on that)
i think havanna is not that bad and definitely better than circuit and its only the third point that is unplayable but that point is so bad that it alone makes the map f-tier
i also have to disagree on kingsrow, first point is really good, second point is "playable" but third point almost rivals havanna as soon as a widowmaker stands on the second highground
also have to somewhat disagree on your "rein-take" and you liking dorado and gibraltar kinda shows why, its more like if either rein or monkey is good on the map, the map is probably good
if sigma is good on the map, the map is garbage, even thou sigma is likely the most well balanced tank there is but he also thrives in those spammy playstiles...
now that i think about it, its more a combination of sigma, zen, widowmaker that ruin the maps (except shambali)
second point rialto is kinda aids against double pocketed hitscan... and one of the few points where you cant really play around it, its about 30m without any natural cover and widowmaker is a bit too good on this map for my liking
completely agree on your take on shambali
Never rank again 🔥
man im so bad at this game
disagree with kings row for me its D garbage map especially first point/choke
I like most of push maps
I like Flashpoint. Most opinions an L
SR diff
@Greed- different strokes for different folks but idk what Sr has to do with enjoyment of a map and gamemode
@patricklodge1576 trust me you're better off not knowing why😂
@@patricklodge1576they play different on different skill levels
@@MK-mm7ui How does that affect flashpoint? I've not heard many complaints about it, it's way better than push
bad list buddy
Found the widow player
Kings row is just as bad as circuit royal imo it's just a straight line
WHAT. How? Its characterized by its twists and turns. Its a perfect example of a good map. Everyone loves that map. Ur in the minority my guy
@@cbaileychamp I am fully aware Im the minority but I disagree with the twist and turns part the flank routes in the map result in death to anyone who isn't Sombra the high ground isn't even that high and first point is the only point with ZERO flank routes, so like I said it's a straight line
@@wendeez2845"the high ground isn't that high", yea so the lamest comps can't just sit on high ground all day and it isn't just meta. You can do poke on highground, but its not meta, which is what makes it great because you have multiple options. On circuit royal you either play poke or you suffer.
"First point has no flank routes"
Go through the building on the right on attack and jump out the hole to rotate to the flanking highground. There you can either A drop to the lower ground or b if you have a mobility character you can jump across to get to the high ground behind the enemy. Even if this was true how does that justify the map being as unfun as circuit?
