Texas did away with minimum speed limit signs for the most part a long time ago, in the early 2000's in Houston. For some reason they came back in Laredo, they're still around in Amarillo, and also, speed limit signs now use one round pole, instead of two round or rectangular poles , some of the signs with two poles are still around rural I-10 in west Texas, but not for long I reckon. Especially with speed limits being uniform since late-2011, instead of differential, there's no need for two poles anymore.
texas is by far my favorite state to drive in, just pure road and great straights to speed
If the potholes, police, and mosquitos don't bother ya year round, then Texas is a lovely state to drive in.
