    The word that keeps popping into my head when I see these cargo conversions is "Bulletproof". This gentleman gets 1000% respect from me. The joinery on the cabinets alone puts him above the manufactured garbage trailers. And his electrical system is phenomenal. I'm really digging these cargo trailers. When I'm ready to do this, THIS is the way I want to go. None of those manufactured trailers for me, thank you very much.

    Love his set up. Great job. My wife & I did the same concept with a 6x12 Cargo trailer into a tiny home. We did 2.4 m wood ceilings , birch plywood bed for strength & weight savings . Murphy chairs on the rear of the trailer both sides that turn into a bed. 200 watts of solar -300 watt soon, sink , 110 v fridge - much cheaper than 12v & easy replaceable, like he said, bathroom with shower & toilet. We love it almost more than our house. We do some state parks but dispersed & national parks with minimal daily fees is the direction were going. Happy trails!

    This talented gentleman could sell me a rig in a heartbeat 💗 I like that he used some basic apartment appliances instead of expensive camp style and saved a lot of money! I love the Dovetail style cabinet drawers because only fine wood carpenter skills know how to make this kind of make this unique technique which I have watched on TH-cam videos! The Japanese wood journeymen really are the the best at this type of joinery skills which are handed down from generation to generation of folks who know how to do this kind of wood work! Great setup for stealth camping trips!

    • @lizsteeds6697
      @lizsteeds6697 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Dovetailing is standard carpentry practise when cabinet making except the hideous mass produced cheap furniture chain store crap that is glued/screwed together. My Father toured America in the late 70's and was horrified at the amount of plastic/faux wood cabinetry around - no actual wood or furniture properly made. This was evident even in the 5 star hotels. It might be unusual for you growing up in the USA surrounded by cheaply manufactured furniture but dovetailing isn't some esoteric craft practised by sects of exotic, arcane and foreign (non-American) woodworkers/ craftsmen/cabinetmakers. Most furniture is made employing methods such as dovetailing. Just because you have discovered it on You Tube doesn't mean it is rare/unusual.

    I actually watched Lance's video when I was ready to start my Cargo Trailer conversion. I have the same, well everything he is using. Love the 9,000 BTU Pioneer mini split. I work and travel on the road, so use it often. Mine is built to haul my Dune Buggy. also. The bed is across the rear and goes up while I am loading it. But the 32 x 32 shower, Mini Split, magnetic screen, even the washer, is the same. I'm running 1200 watts of solar and Leaf lithium batteries. Thanks Tamera for the video and MOSTLY, Thanks to Lance for helping ,me realize that a cargo trailer is RIGHT for me. Thanks, Lance, Tamera and Jamie. Hope to meet you all, some day.

    For Lance - I have the same washer. To prevent the clothes from getting stiff when they dry, use approx. 3 tablespoons of vinegar in the rinse. Nice cheap fabric softener, that cuts the soap, and also gets rid of odors.

    Now that's what I call a build. Lance did it right. I firmly believe that you design the rig for yourself and work it to suit your needs. If a camp cot and a cooler is your thing then run with it. If you need marble counters ok, just remember that the main goal is to be comfortable in your environment.

      This is how I do it. I have exact washer in my cabin (in which I live full time). Also, use just enough soap to see a few bubbles. That will keep the clothes from being stiff when you air dry them.

    • @kenbarnett9415
      @kenbarnett9415 4 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I have the same type, it's a Kuppet, but they're all the same. I use 5-6 gallons in the wash side with about a 1/2 cup soap then when the wash is done, I put the wet clothes in a bucket and wash 2 more loads in the dirty wash water and add 1/8 cup soap with each load (if needed) my theory is that when you use a double loader you are using the same water and soap without changing the water! (yes, the water will be lt. gray-black and could be gross) then to rinse divide the 3 loads into 8 and add 1/2 gallon of water into the spinner through the hose connect, a quart at a time (a funnel is helpful), not the washer for each of the 8 loads total water used 9 gallons for 2 standard loads of clothes, if you wash and rinse each load the normal way it will take about 7 gallons per load or 21 gallons to do the same amount of clothes. Your clothes may still have some soap in them, but that will happen at the laundry mat too and if your trying to conserve water, this works and you will have clean clothes! You can also catch the spin water and add it to the washer water to save even more water.

I can wash a month's worth of clothing in 2 hours with only 10 gallons of water, by spinning one load while washing the next, and pouring the same spun-out water back into the wash tub for the next load.

    Lance needs to have his own TH-cam channel. I think Tamra really liked the 12 inch memory foam. Poor girl just needed a nap 😴 😂 but she’s so chill & sweet. Great job guys!

    Great set up - the sofa looks cozy, which you don't often see in small spaces, brilliant murphy bed....the floorplan is perfect.

    You seem a natural interviewer, Tamra, & Lance has a great set of skills - including designing a well functioning home! Love the technology! Was recently hoping to learn how to put cameras up, which I can see on a screen & be able to zoom in to see birds at my feeder, the occasional hawk attacks, prowling cats, foxes & people at my doors better. DVR capture is good thinking, too!
    Want an interactive mic at the doors, solar, great water filtration & better water pressure for my sticks 'n bricks until I'm able to sell or rent & try being a vagabond!

    This man reminds me of Negan from The Walking Dead but a really nice guy version of him.
    The type of Negan to fix Glenn's head after bashing it in. 🤣
