Southern Fried Cabbage with Cajun Shrimp And Sausage Recipe
1 cabbage
3-4 strips bacon
1 link sausage andouille, turkey, etc
1 lb shrimp
2 bell peppers any preferred color
1 medium onions
garlic powder to taste
onion powder to taste
old bay
Cajun seasoning to taste
Cedarwood smoked seafood seasoning or lemon pepper to taste
All purpose seasoning (5 star Cooking With Tammy brand preferred)
paprika
smoked paprika
red chili flakes
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 tsp chicken bouillon
Brown the bacon and sausage and set aside.
Remove any access oil from the pan if necessary before adding the seasoned shrimp.
Season the shrimp with garlic and onion powder, old bay, cajun seasoning, Cedarwood smoked seafood seasoning, paprika, and combine.
Cook the shrimp thoroughly, and set aside.
Add the onions and bell peppers along with the cabbage.
Cook the cabbage to your desired preference (ex. soft, crunchy)
Season the cabbage with cajun seasoning, chili flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, all-purpose chicken seasoning, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, chicken bouillon, salt if necessary.
Re-add sausage and shrimp back to the pan and combine.
