Geezzzzz 70fps AND 4K?? Those M1 chips aren't fooling around!
Definitely going to save up for a Mac Studio, despite how pricey they are, it looks well worth it.

Wow! It’s amazing that you’re able to get 60+fps while recording and playing at 4K resolution. I wonder how much higher frame rates you get when you’re not recording and with scaling it everything down to 1080p resolution (which is 4 times less pixels to render)
Also, how does render distance affect the performance? Would you like to do a follow up on this and see how resolution and render distance changes the frame rate?
    Great video buddy!

Hey, thank you for the feedback :)
I will definitely do another video in the following days.
Here are the results without Recording and with the Sildurs Vibrant Medium shader:
      4k, Render Distance 2: 120-130fps
      4k, Render Distance 16: 40-60 fps
      4k, Render Distance 32: 25-40fps
      1080p, Render Distance 2: 230-300fps
      1080p, Render Distance 16: 50-80fps
      1080p, Render Distance 32: 35-45fps
1080p with the Sildurs Vibrant Extreme gives me 45-55fps.
The 1080p was measured by just scaling the window down. Because I have no 1080p monitor and I didn't found the setting to manually set the resolution, I don't know if these results are representative.
Just tell me If you need any other benchmarks.

You gotta turn of Ambient Occlusion in Sildurs shaders extreme to get good frame rate, it’ll quadruple the fps. Go to shader setting, shading, than it should be there.

Just got it working with sodium and without any shaders I’m getting:
Apple m1 max 32c with 2gb of memory allocated
    2chunk rd: 600-850fps
    4chunk: 400-600fps
    8 chunk: 200-500 fps

    32 chunk: 40-130fps

I find it strange you’re getting such low fps with 12 chunk render distance, i was runnning it on my 32c m1 max mac studio yesterday without sodium or lithium using the native hack and was getting 400+ fps with 12 chunk render distance and well over 120fps with 18 chunk render distance. Strange
