And poor, delusional Esma. She is so blinded by an unfair distan of Sureyya basically because she's from Istanbul and Esma has too many awful memories of losing Garip in Istanbul. That's why she hates "the city" so much.

Faruk & Sureyya never have a proper honeymoon as a newly married couple, right after marriage she was thrown into the mansion straight into Esma's warpath. Dunno whether it is not their practice or culture to do that. Even after their reconciliation following the mutual annulment of divorce, they went back straight to the mansion which is a bad move. To me they should go away for a short break and make time for each other after the 3 months seperation & utilise this time to thrash out their differences, misunderstandings and serious issues that needs to be addressed in their marriage and relationship moving forward. They need the space and time to be alone together without outside interference to talk things over and clear the air and lingering doubts to put their marriage back in proper footing, Sureyya should make clear her intentions and expectations in their marriage and Faruk needs to wise up and listen.Healthy boundaries in their marriage needs to be respected by Faruk and stop being double minded. Begum needs to be put in her place. Faruk need to stop his concerns and caring for his ex Begum other than Emir, because Begum is not his wife. She is more than capable in looking after herself as she has been managing her own affairs for the last 13 years, if not for her terminal illness. Both F&S needs to work out on their marriage to strengthen love & rebuild trust, respect and understandings. No more lies, dishonesty, deception, double dealings that creates insecurity, mistrust, anger and breakdown. Be always open, honest and transparent with each other. Period.

If not for the accident, Sureyya and Faruk maybe no longer together. I have mixed feelings about Sureyya and Faruk's reconciliation because I am afraid she will get hurt and go through all the pain again. Her family dynamics has changed forever and whether she is ready to share her husband with Emir, not forgetting Begum is still in the picture. Esma is another big problem. Sureyya gonna face lots of challenges ahead to sustain her marriage to Faruk. Something has got to give. So stay tune & keep watching.
I am disappointed with Sureyya regarding Faruk's spending time with Emir at Begum's house which is unhealthy for their marriage. She should be assertive and exercise her discretion as a wife insisting & demanding that Faruk should not babysitting Emir (13yo boy) at Begum's house which is not within healthy boundaries and inappropriate. Faruk & Begum must talk & make Emir understand of the new arrangement and not allow Emir to manipulate them. Emir has to get used to the new routine otherwise it is unfair to Sureyya. I got stressed everytime Faruk goes to Begum house having breakfast & dinner there. Begum is not his wife. Sureyya needs to voice her concern and put her foot down or else she will be taken advantage of. Faruk shouldn't be making excuses about not wanting to upset Emir's routine because Sureyya make huge sacrifices and way too accommodating as far as Emir is concerned. This Begum character and drama thing is really unnecessary & should be written off ASAP. I don't see the point of prolonging Sureyya's agony and Begum's wishy washy. Faruk needs to make up his mind and decision fast if he doesn't want to lose his wife.
@Diane391 First of all, he's not babysitting, that's his literal child. Apart of marriage is trust so why would she want to keep faruk from seeing his son? She came to terms with the fact that Begum is the mother of his child therefore she will always be in the picture.

If you were Sureyya and Faruk's wife, will you be okay, feeling secure and comfortable seeing your husband leaving you alone at home while he is seeing his son in the comfort of his ex fiancee's home even to the extent of having dinner and breakfast with his son and ex Begum like they were the real family while Sureyya feels like a third party/outsider as Emir no longer wanted Sureyya around? Is this kind of arrangement suitable and acceptable for you? If yes, you must be truly an exceptional women and one of a kind to be satisfied with this kind of arrangement without feeling any insecurity and doubt. To me, Sureyya has been way too accomodating to allow this kind of arrangement and not insisting that alternative place be arranged for Faruk to meet and spend time with Emir instead of right at his ex Begum's house with the ex presence of course. This can't go on as it has crossed respectable boundaries and both Faruk and Begum need to tell Emir that his dad is married to Sureyya and Emir cannot emotionally blackmailed and manipulated Faruk. If the scenario were reversed, how would Faruk feel seeing his wife goes to former lover house to spend time with her kid. Even seeing Can (Sureyya's Lawyer) talking to Sureyya is enough to sent Faruk flew into a fit of rage. I understand how Sureyya feel and how vulnerable can she be. Faruk and Begum should be sensitive to Sureyya's feelings especially Faruk after going through the divorce process once.
@@ingemeyer2046 fyi, there is no issue with Faruk babysitting or spending time with his son Emir. I am not depriving Emir of his father, Faruk, surely not. Am sure Sureyya has no issue with that too coz she love Emir and love to spend time with him too. It was Emir who had a change of heart and refused to see and talk to Sureyya because he now believes that Sureyya stood in the way of his dad Faruk and mum Begum of getting married and be together as family. He have seen Begum's sadness and cried for Faruk when Sureyya came back. The issue is Faruk should stop meeting and spending time with his son, Emir at Begum's house in the privacy and comfort of his ex fiancee's home which is not proper. He can meet his son elsewhere so that there will be no more complications, confusion and mistrust and everyone knows their place. Because as what Sureyya says to Faruk, that women (Begum) still loves you. It is a women's instincts and Begum told Sureyya once before that she would want to give her relationship with Faruk a second chance. So that's the problem. Of course Faruk can't avoid Begum totally because of Emir but they should keep a respectful distance and maintain minimal contact only when necessary. That's should be the way.
What a nightmare of a mother is Esma, she is so selfish and only ever thinks of herself, , so happy that Surreya and Faruk are back together, they are such a happy couple

Feel sorry for Begum, to be honest. She knew full well Faruk was hopelessly in love with Sureyya, anyone with half a brain would be able to tell, but she was hoping with the divorce finalized and Sureyya gone, she could restart her relationship with Faruk. We now have a Sureyya 2.0, more confident and honestly even aggressive. Looks like she came ready to take Esma Sultana on, head on. Can't wait to see how the story unfolds from this point on.
