I hit up Powerflow Bellville to get a quote on removing the chunky rear muffler/silencer and replace it with a straight pipe and twin exit tailpiece. Here's how it all went down and what the car sounds like now.

Did it smoke before? Im thinking of deleting my muffler but i don't want it to smoke..

Nah no smoking before or after. There was a slight smoke residue initially after the delete but that was residual welding fumes and gas but that went away after a good drive 👍🏼

Hi, I have a completelystock exhaust system. What do I need to do to achieve the sound you have? Is it just a muffler delete, or did you remove anything else?@TechniqBB6

@traintraxx33 I only did the rear muffler delete and got this sound, so the and sound should be achieved if you do the same. The stock muffler has a lot of packing inside that dulls the sound and performance.

@@traintraxx33 when I was under the car while it was on the lift I did not see a DPF, but I'm not sure if the LCI models have the DPF inside the downpipe.
