So I'm watching this a bit later, as I didn't even start watching the show until about a week or two ago, just finishing 3a. For all it matters, the show hasn't been saved and as much as I enjoy the show and the storylines, I care less about the show returning than things like this, to see the actors who are passionate and skilled, and in a way very technical about their art (with evidence from San diego comic con panel with everyone). They really care about their jobs, and I care less about the return of the show than I care about these people finding more jobs and roles in the future where they can show their passion effectively. Matt speaking so well about the exposure and change in approaches to showing LGBTQ+ couples in mainstream television and the cast discussing how they prepare and deeen their characters in San Diego. This cast is just magical.
I agree. I started watching show out of me needing something to watch back in the first week of March. It changed my life for the better and of course I didn’t want to see the show end however, they got to close it up for us in a way that was satisfying for them and to make us happy. The reason they got canceled is not our fault or Netflix’s. The actors understand and I’m proud that all of them are starting to find work especially Dom and Kat who are in shows and movies. The power of the fandom is strong and it’s not going away for the fact that they are planned to do a panel in 2020. These actors r still here and we can always ask them questions and they can be here for us in the sense of continuing to make amazing characters and choices that they did with Shadowhunters. Like I’d love the show to come back but if it came back now. Half the cast wouldn’t be there because they have other commitments and even though they love this show, they LITERALLY can’t just leave their other projects. So I completely agree with u.
