I've just got back from the Lake District :)
I slept at the side of Ullswater on Saturday night after driving all the way from Pembrokeshire ♡
Lovely video. I have always loved wild swimming but this year, I have made so much more time for it and got older friends that haven't been in the ocean for 20 years and more, to join me ♡
Such a lovely tribute to your Grandma..
I lost mine 3 years this Christmas and I miss her so terribly. For me, it has helped to keep myself grounded with all the simple things nature can heal us with.

      She was my best friend..

I went last night and saw hundreds of spider crab feeding on the sea floor in my little secluded bay (I say my, it feels like mine🤗) I was 90% through an edit tonight when it all vanished.. so I shall have to start over when I've forgiven my laptop.. xox

Fantastic short film that covered much more than swimming. Peoples lives are, so dominated by work in artificial environments that we disconnect from nature. As children we derive pleasure from the most simple things like water or snow and when this is lost people wonder why they feel so low. It was also moving the way they paid tribute to their grandmother and the lasting impact that she had had upon them. I love open swimming, the fitness benefits, the calories burning but the most important thing is to have fun in the water and these guys captured that...
