      Based on a couple of TH-cam videos I have seen, Kevin Kisner may be your guy. Kiz is an incredible needler that loves to have fun. I would choose him in a NY minute. Mickelson would be my first choice with Kiz second in a photo finish.

    I'm from the states and Lee Westwood has always been one of my all time favorites! He hit a slump, I think around the early 2000s, and not only battled his way back but got even better than he was before the slump! He seems like an awesome guy, thank you so much! It's great when you see someone you have followed for years turn out to be a nicer guy than you thought he was! Totally awesome!!!

    • @freddiejones4598
      @freddiejones4598 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s why more and more players just use there mate or a family member. They basically do bugger all

    • @kakemonsteret112
      @kakemonsteret112 3 ปีที่แล้ว +11

      @@Mr.mallaer yes, and no. For players like Westwood and Cink, who have been around for 20 some years, yes they just need someone to carry and keep them mellow.. for younger tour players the insight, measurements and advice of a caddy is a major advantage. Not to mention assistance with the mental part of the game (which is huge). Plenty of examples of good young players falling after having friends/brothers caddy, while there are equally many who have taken leaps in the right direction from getting a good caddy..

      Also the key to becoming a good golfer is not going out to the range and machine-gunning shots or just every time you swing a golf club is by playing a round of golf. Go to the range and make every shot count and work on particular shots and most importantly alignment. You can work on swing plane in your backyard with no ball. Also read Fearless Golf. If puts the mental game in perspective.

    Lee Westwood is probably one of the nicest pro athletes I have ever met. He would stop into the YMCA where I worked while I was in college when visiting for the Firestone WGC event, and I would give him Y passes and he would leave me tickets for the tournament. He’s truly down to earth and just a class act. Hopefully he can get that major win soon!!

    • @ryanbahnsen6429
      @ryanbahnsen6429 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      He can put a good round or 2 together in majors, but unfortunately nowadays with better equipment and consistent golfers you need 4 clean rounds to win any major.

  • @MrJwest57
    @MrJwest57 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I really like the caddy interaction because you really see how much the pros really plan their shots. They’re planning their putts from their second shots and this is all going on in fractions of seconds in their heads. Even Lee saying if you put a timer on him he’d be within fractions of second doing his routine. I know how much better the pros are than us Joe’s, but this really makes me appreciate how good they are.

    Westy is the only professional golfer actively playing today I'd want to sit and have a beer with and hear some stories. Then go out and play a few holes with. Darren Clarke also but he's primarily Champions tour now. I can't think of one guy on the US tour I'd want to do that with. Their either so into themselves or they're so young, that I have no interest their game or stories. Good Vid!
