OOooh, a free promotional video for New Zealand tours, and Russian Armed Forced :P JK, also very good remix. Interesting how you added the type of drums that kinda sound like tribal drum beat. For the cannonade UT track my first experience with it was the DOM map in the slums, backstreets. Since then this music track for me is associated with backstreet gang style "sound".
Thank You)) It's very interesting track for me, becuse I've heard the original before I met it in the game, and for me it sounded quite orchestral and organic with it's unreal "brand" flute in the middle, I mean I imagined some gothic castles in the forest or unreal-I like ruins and it was very surprising to play urban map with this track. When I've decided to remix it I've dared to use my own fantasies for it and New Zealand landscapes worked very well %)
The atmospheric video really suits the dreamy scapes of ut99 maps. and the missile tests near the end were kinda funny but still fitting the portion of the theme during which they played. Especially since the song is called "cannonade" to begin with.
Never clicked on a video so fast in my life. Another classic remixed so masterfully. I do hope some of these make it into UT4. That guitar section towards the end was ear sex xD
Огонь! "Обновление" трека очень хорошо получилось. Чуток критики позвольте. Имхо в оригинале в начале трека акцент делался на звонкий звук (удар там чего-то типа .) - он и тянул все звучание. Плюс в оригинале был самый улётный момент, видать кульминационный, это типа дудочки (в этом ремиксе это момент 1:30-1:42), именно от нее вскрывало (плюс самое главное - именно это звучание для меня является отголоском звука unreal, визитная карточка музыки напали, видать этот семпл часто использовали в других нереальных треках, в Dusk Horizon он прослушивается). Здесь почему-то ты не стал выделять этот момент (( Очень радует, что увеличиваешь композиции в продолжительности, максимально обыгрываешь тему. Вторая часть с гитарой меня чуток ошеломила, плюс видос техники... потом вспомнил, что это же канонада. В общем имхо напрашиваются еще варианты ремиксов. Уверен, что в твоей голове, когда ты писал трек, было куча вариантов исполнения. Вознаграждение скоро подкину .) Спасибо за уникальный труд!
Damn, this version of Cannonade seems a lot more grand than the original version, like it should be in a big Assault map, rather than the slums of DOM-Condemned. Fantastic work, hope we can see more of your UT remixes in the near future. Would LOVE to see you tackle Underworld II or Seeker, for sure.

Hey NU - Can I request a UT track never used in the game? The soundtrack has one called Dream Tear Down which is a FANTASTIC track that I dont think was used on any map I know of. Could you also remix that?
Greatly thanks for Your request. I've never heard Dream Tear Down before and it's really beautiful track. I adore that mechanical Teque\Trauma style (I think one of them is the author of Dream Tear Down), I've met it (besides FireBreath) in "Golgotha" track for UT maps extension. I'm really would like to reborn both of it (Dream Tear Down and Golgotha).
You can replace them in UT2004 though (custom audio player under F11). Man, these tracks make the game feel more UT99 despite all that different art direction it took. When NU released Skyward Fire, the first thing I've done was a CTF match on remastered Lava Giant.

Great track as always! I saw this just minutes before I left for a small vacation w/o internet access, so I had barely time to listen! Now I have and seems other really dig the last part of the song, i sadly do not as much =) I highly enjoyed the part up until that. I was expecting something like around 1:00 but more heavy. I also think you could have extended the calm part around 2:00 too =D At your soundcloud channel you have some older UT tracks, with different versions of the same song, wish you could revisit this a lil' bit and add that there when you find time! But nothing that takes time from that great Underworld track we're all waiting for!

Никаких мультитреков, только с нуля, только хардкор %) Изредка беру пару звучков (коротких семплов) из оригинала, если ни в какую не могу подобрать их или они слишком каноничные. Посмотрите мой ролик [Making of], там хоть и нудно теперь без аннотаций, но более менее наглядно показан процесс сочинительства.
Формат оригинальных мелодий УТ - "трекерная музыка". Можно открыть его и посмотреть структуру, инструменты и партии (типа мидифайла), в этом отношении, конечно, легче чем подбирать партии из сплошного потока mp3\wav. Звуки я очень стараюсь не использовать оригинальные, в этом треке только один короткий 2х-секундный в самом начале.
If judging this track as remix, it's really good. I like aggressive beginning. Maybe I just want to hear originals in better quality, because it printed in my memory. Also, good video I really want to hear SunSpire remix from you, maybe you will do some magic...

Бесподобный ремикс, есть правда один маааааленький недочет, надеюсь он исправится к выходу mp3-шки: недочет заключается в ударных, во-первых им не хватает низких частот, а во вторых в некоторых местах (особенно с гитарным риффом) из-за слегка неудачной компрессии пропадает "бочка"

When I run over DOM-Condemned map I felt that music maybe a bit weird with it's gothic nature for the future city, so since I couldn't switch the music and keep the map :D, I kept the music and tried to stick to it's actual title - "Cannonade" which is quite aggressive and heavy word for me ^__^

Hey NU - Can I request a UT track never used in the game? The soundtrack has one called Dream Tear Down which is a FANTASTIC track that I dont think was used on any map I know of. Could you also remix that?
Greatly thanks for Your request. I've never heard Dream Tear Down before and it's really beautiful track. I adore that mechanical Teque\Trauma style (I think one of them is the author of Dream Tear Down), I've met it (besides FireBreath) in "Golgotha" track for UT maps extension. I'm really would like to reborn both of it (Dream Tear Down and Golgotha).
You can replace them in UT2004 though (custom audio player under F11). Man, these tracks make the game feel more UT99 despite all that different art direction it took. When NU released Skyward Fire, the first thing I've done was a CTF match on remastered Lava Giant.

Great track as always! I saw this just minutes before I left for a small vacation w/o internet access, so I had barely time to listen!
Now I have and seems other really dig the last part of the song, i sadly do not as much =) I highly enjoyed the part up until that. I was expecting something like around 1:00 but more heavy. I also think you could have extended the calm part around 2:00 too =D At your soundcloud channel you have some older UT tracks, with different versions of the same song, wish you could revisit this a lil' bit and add that there when you find time! But nothing that takes time from that great Underworld track we're all waiting for!

скажите, а это какой-то мультитрек готовый взяли и подобрали новые звучки или же сами разобрали каждый инструмент и с нуля все сделали?
Никаких мультитреков, только с нуля, только хардкор %) Изредка беру пару звучков (коротких семплов) из оригинала, если ни в какую не могу подобрать их или они слишком каноничные. Посмотрите мой ролик [Making of], там хоть и нудно теперь без аннотаций, но более менее наглядно показан процесс сочинительства.
Формат оригинальных мелодий УТ - "трекерная музыка". Можно открыть его и посмотреть структуру, инструменты и партии (типа мидифайла), в этом отношении, конечно, легче чем подбирать партии из сплошного потока mp3\wav. Звуки я очень стараюсь не использовать оригинальные, в этом треке только один короткий 2х-секундный в самом начале.

недочет заключается в ударных, во-первых им не хватает низких частот, а во вторых в некоторых местах (особенно с гитарным риффом) из-за слегка неудачной компрессии пропадает "бочка"

When I run over DOM-Condemned map I felt that music maybe a bit weird with it's gothic nature for the future city, so since I couldn't switch the music and keep the map :D, I kept the music and tried to stick to it's actual title - "Cannonade" which is quite aggressive and heavy word for me ^__^
